Total bescheuert der Move von dem Idioten. Wenn mein Auto keine Power mehr hat, dann fahre ich dort rechts runter von der Strecke und lenke nicht so hard auf die Ideallinie. Völlig unverständlich.
Sorry das war nicht shit happend Rückspiegel - Rückspiegel - Rückspiegel und bei einem technischen Defekt sofort von der Idealline, könnte ja auch noch Betiebsmittel auslaufen. Zum Glück seit Ihr, bei deiner Aktion, nicht verletzt worden. Fair wäre Du hilfst Norman, als Gentleman, seinen M4 so schnell wie möglich wieder fahrbar zumachen. Was im Fahrerlager über Dich und deine Aktion geredet wurde, kannst dir ja denken. Kopf hoch und weiter machen aber mit Köpfchen. Hoffe so was passiert nicht mir, wollen doch alle nur unseren Spaß haben, ist ja schon teuer genug unser Hobby.
Absolut deiner Meinung. Hätte besser auf den Rückspiegel achten sollen, genauso, wie ich nicht wieder auf Ideallinie hätten lenken sollen. Keine Diskussion. Als Hintermann hätte man auch vom Gas gehen können…
@@RotheliRacing Man rechnet nicht damit das einer nach Motor AUS auf der Idealline zurück fährt oder bleibt. Ihr hättet euch auch vorher absprechen sollen. Sicherungsfahrzeug mit genug Abstand beide Warnblinklicht an🤣 Nee im Ernst das Du nach hinten nichts siehst mit deinen Spiegeln und kein Rückspiegel, ist mir kein Rätsel sondern Rücksichtslos. Finde den Totenwinkel bei den OEM Spiegeln schon sehr grenzwertig und gefährlich, ist aber vielen egal bis es knallt und dann ICH HAB NICHTS GESEHEN Früher haben wir unsere Motorräder abgespeckt und haben die Rückspiegel abgebaut, war cool aber auch doof.

Will hier nicht rumstänkern aber das war leider voll dein Fehler. Warum lenkt man voll nach links auf eine Idealline wenn das Auto aus geht. Da bleibt man auf der Spur wo man ist oder in deinem Fall ganz nach rechts ins grüne. Ich hoffe das du den m4 Fahrer bei seinem Schaden unterstützt.
The most discouraging thing to happen after putting so much money and effort in your car is to wreck it after couple of laps and yet when I've met you shortly after the incident, you were incredibly positive and massively pleasant. This only speaks how great of a person this guy is. I wish everything goes smooth for you from this point and you'll get back at the track as soon as possible!
Nice hearing the brake in of the engine and Kotouc gearbox, great work. My condolences for the unfortunate crash on track, no one hurt exepct for ones pride and wallet 😉
What a bummer, after so much effort! At least both drivers are ok. Clearly shows how a fraction of a second and hesitation (after seeing the check engine light) can have big impact. Wish you speedy “recovery” of the car

So sad to see this happen. Glad you are both okay. I guess you will never turn across on a track when you have issues ever again, and I guess the bmw owner will think twice about passing a struggling car at high speeds. Costly lessons for both of you, but these are the ones you learn the most from! Good luck on the rebuild. The wider fenders would look sick btw!

Shit happens dude sooner or later. You will comeback stronger after this it's always something to learn. I have been driving on racing tracks almost for 25 years with one chrasch not my fault. I always new sooner or later will happened. Most important that both of you are ok, new parts and cars we can always buy.
Hi Phil, the limp mode due to out of pressure on the syvecs makes you out of focus. When it happened to me the first time almost crashed too because the car shuts down… Misha was about to crash on the ring too because that. One solution is 500cc oil overfill, another one is a baffled sump (which no one has in stock, maybe is a good item to sell…) and the last one the dry sump (which doesn’t exist either and is super expensive). BTW, keep pushing hard man good news is that you are ok and the car has “minor” damage!
Thank you. Yeah it totally took me by surprise. We will overfill the engine a bit, adjust the sensibility of the Syvecs and wait until they get the dry sump sorted out. Still waiting on a reply from them. 😅
@@RotheliRacing yeah, some cars with stock ECU’s got broken engines on track due to the oil starvation problem since the stock ECU is far more permissive
Bad luck. Instead of the laptime in the middle of the windshield, you should have kept the mirror. But i guess, with no power you had other things in the head, then looking in the mirror. Hope no one got hurt. Sh*t happens. Heads up ✌🏼
The oil pressure trip while braking is something common in the Yaris, but the stock ecu does not show to care about. I had the same limp mode "problem" with the syvecs while braking hard on track. If you watch the video of the Yaris at Buthurst with motec it has the check engine light coming on every hard braking. The tuner can easily work it out setting lower threshold at lower rpm's but it's nice to know the oil pressure drops that much under hard braking and a good lesson for those 7000's downshifting fans! I guess at cold mind you already realized that cutting back on the left has been a dumb move but I understand that in that same sudden unexpected limp mode my brain was focused on what happened and it took me few seconds to drive the car out of the way. Costly experience but won't happen again. Sorry you have faced it the hard way.
I've talked to my tuner when it happened 2 years ago but he wasn't convinced it was the right choice as well. Some sort of baffle in the oil pan would be the best for sure but I don't think that's an easy task. I guess is part of the game having so many oil squirters in that engine. Keep in mind the yaris have being tracked super hard with stock ecu all around the world with no issues, it really could be a "too conservative" protective strategy of the ecu for that specifi engine application @@RotheliRacing

Wenn Du ein Vermögen an Zeit und Arbeit investierst und alles läuft, Du immer schneller wirst und der Maschine Runde für Runde mehr vertraust und plötzlich das Triebwerk versagt, da bekommt man einen Aussetzer. Hatte auch mal so eine Aktion mit knapp 200 km/h mit meiner Honda bei knapp 18000 U/min, 2 Takter als sie in der Kurve festging und es das Pleuel aus dem Kurbelgehäuse schlug. Wünsche euch allen viel Glück bei der Wiederherstellung/ Instandsetzung der Fahrzeuge. Habe meiner Frau versprochen meinen GR nicht auf der Rennstrecke einzusetzen.

Ich drück Dir die Daumen, dass Du gut mit dem Schock klarkommst und schnell wieder mit dem Giftzwerg auf der Strecke bist. Ich hatte in meinem Leben schon einige schwere Unfälle, zum Glück nie mit Verletzten, aber beträchtlichem Sachschaden, einer davon total.
Phew F...! Sry to say that but 100% the fault of Yaris/Video Creator. Even if the BMW driver takes his foot off the pedal, he can never prevent from crashing into you when you suddenly get back on the ideal line. But that's racing, unfortunately mistakes happen.

Yeah unfortunately we learned that the hard way.
Will overfill the engine about 0.5l for next test and see how that goes.
