A few years ago i got an insulated lunch box(bag) from Costco. It is flatter and fits easily under my seat. There is even room for a Plano box. I think it raven came with one of those reusable gel-ice-pack things and a separate compartment for it.

Suggestion:Attach the Velcro from the bag to the tie rap for easy removal or use carabiner from bag loop to tie rap.

Good idea. We have something similar. It's a cooler box we used to use when I went to techie trade shows. We used a cooler box for our cube server. The padding value of the insulation was great for the server. I don't go to those anymore (mostly retired), so the cooler box got repurposed back to a cooler box. I'm also OK if my water or Arnold Palmers aren't cold - my wife thinks I'm nuts, but I don't care that much

Darn Steve I’ve got so much stuff in my kayak earlier. It’s ridiculous now, I’m going to add one more thing :-)

I still use the big zip up bags and block ice I make at home. I use a empty big ice bag for the fish so it don't touch my lunch.

I think that's a great idea, but one thought. Wouldn't it be ackward to try and zip(or unzip) that bag while reaching behind without a good view? Have to be pretty flexable? I personally just throw a small insulated bag like that into my dry bag, so I can access it easily. keep up the great work. would love to see a video on kayak freshwater trolling if you do any.

Good point! I will not be on freshwater, but I will do one inshore... pretty much the same thing.

You have everything but a bathroom on your kayak. How do you 'go' when you're out on the water for a day?
