I got my VF8 Plus 2024 a few months back. Recently went on a road trip. I got around 415km actual range. So it’s giving even better range than the advertised 384 km. And I was going around 120km/h.
Thank you for your positive review. Your money, your choice. Who can lie in your own experience? I know many negative feedbacks before and Vinfast is trying his best to bring the best cars. Viewers: If you consider it, go to the showroom and try it. If VF is not your choice, I would be grateful if you could give your positive feedback for them to manufacture EVs better. It doesn't take anything from you. Thank you so much
That's the key statement "If you can find an aggressive lease rate.." I did. I'm in California and I snagged one of the 2023 VF8 "City Edition" Plus's a couple months ago... "$0 down, $149/mo 24 months" In reality, after paying tax, title, acquisition, and all the other fun California DMV fees.. plus upping the yearly mileage from 10k to 15k... My actual out-the-door was $2,430 down (first month's payment included in that) and 23 more payments of $213. I've had a couple bugs and issues needed repairing but VinFast's service department has been absolutely amazing. Seriously they have the best service team I've ever seen and they really go above-and-beyond taking care of customers. I actually really love my VinFast and I've been so impressed with the car and the service team helping me out that I'm probably going to buy out the lease at the end (about $24,000). That makes the car an absolute steal. Having another 8 year bumper-to-bumpet warranty with 95k miles remaining, and unlimited battery miles remaining if/when I buyout is unbeatable. VinFast isn't perfect and neither is the car, but they REALLY are trying to get a good product out there. Compare that to my 93 year old grandpa's 5 year old big-three SUV which had engine failure at 37k miles and the manufacturer is dragging their feet to take care of him, despite him only owning that brand pretty much his whole life VinFast is small, scrappy, and insanely good value. Go into it with that perspective; you'll probably be pretty happy with it.
Jika teknologi, kualitas, dan stabilitas kendaraan listrik Vietnam sama baiknya dengan tiga EV performa tinggi teratas dunia, Hyundai Ioniq 5N, Tesla Model 3, dan Porsche Taycan, saya akan membelinya suatu hari nanti.
Test drove one today and it was definitely decent looking and even though I drove the Eco model which is the base it was quite fast. No issues in that department but it takes getting used to if you are new to electric cars . I think just like any new car really a little too much tech for my taste and hopefully it will prove reliable. At the moment they offer a 10 year bumper to bumper warranty on everything including the battery. I worked out some numbers for a 3 year lease and with just $256 down and rolling taxes into the monthly payment it came to that on a low mileage lease. It's sharp looking in general but the VF9 model was definitely much nicer looking and quite a larger vehicle. Range Rover like and quite pricey for a new company in the US. Plenty in the dealership lot and looks like at least with attractive leases and huge factory rebates as well as the 10 year warranty it might be an attractive proposition. Reliability is definitely a concern but the warranty helps. I wasn't impressed with the range but that's something you have to content with any electric vehicle I guess I am considering it and a longer range would be great so I will look into what insurance would cost and if it makes sense I might pull the trigger.
Priced one today at the only dealer in NY state and that lease is available with tier 1 credit and low miles. There's currently a $10,000 dealer incentive applied and they gave me a choice of home 110 charger or 220 fast charger too included

They don''t but see it as marketing expense to get people to drive their cars. Other EV makers such as Kia and Hyundai also offer $18k discount compared to Vinfast's $24k discount. You should give it a try.
