    So happy you posted about the k20a3 again. Being a 2 time EP3 si owner ive been trying to figure out how to pull more power without sacrificing the reliability of the car. Not alot of boosted A3s so N/A id stay before i change compression or do more bolt ons.

    Hey man, I find your videos very informative. I agree that the a3 is a great engine, the first ep3 I owned new back in 2004 with Cai, shorty header, catback exhaust, heatshield gasket, hyper voltage and ground kits, tuned with an e-manage blue made 178 hp and 156 tq at the wheels and the vacuum still needed to be tuned. I have an engine build for my current ep3 that I'm hoping to have done by this summer. It's an a2 bottom end with a crv head, a2 intake rockers converted to work in the 2 lobe head and a2 cams. I'm hoping for 200 hp

      All that is doin is Vtec killer lite. You will never have the same performance in a base model head.

    just droped a k20a3 block with just a2 pistons and an a2 oil pump with a2 head
    in to a ek this combo with a type r flywheel is sick motors super responsive possible from the lighter rotating assembly also pushing rpm to limit 8700rpm we shall see what it makes on dyno with skunk2 pro mani and 550cc injecters

    Exhaust you have to have a 3 in exhaust and iether full length header or a shorty that dumps to 3 in if hes using a ebay 2.37 cat back and cat that would be the reason why

    something about the ep3 of usdm land. that a3 hah i love it . for real i do budget baller build you can get them free all day and make decent power off a free engine lol. i know 600 hp evo was supprised bet it wont hunt another ep3 down lmfao. i couldnt even get a m5 to play. but now that i got my excitment out of the way !reason besides your vids rockin. why i wanted to drop this comment was i was streaming to tv paused you on a random spot and and i came back forgot moved my touchpad your face on the tv scared the shit out of me bro lol. figured you might get a kick out that . good stuff peace brother

    I’m also looking into the AWD locked diff mod for my rn4 stream. I think it’s the same as crv awd.
    😁 Loads of donor awd streams laying around and NOBODY taking advantage of the swap. Can’t wait till I build a k24a1 vtec killer. Good way to keep the torque to the road… awd .

    My compression in the k24 with npr pistons, would be 13:5:1.
    Guess that would mean e85 for fuel?

    I have a JDM RN4 AWD 4spd automatic with K20A (k20a3).
    Was gonna do k24 swap but now I think you’ve convinced me to k20 🫣.
    Type r pistons, a3 block w/ a2 oil pump , a2 cams on vtec killer mod, Crower bc1050 springs??, Rbc intake… what about turbo on that high compression? Would I have to replace pistons with type s nippon?? Can my k20a1 run off k20a3 ecu plus Kpro?
    Sorry for the whole 9 . I’m intrigued!! 🤷🏽‍♂️ Heck, I got even more questions if you’re bored

    Are you referring to after market A3 cams or aftermarket 3 lobe setup? You didn't clarify in your video

      Definitely don’t see how’s theirs any confusion or how you can say I didn’t clarify when the NAME of the videos is a3 performance cams vs type s cams

      Kenneil DaCosta nah my bad I owe a bit of an apology myself. I thought you were commenting on a different video so your question is legit and my answer was wrong. This build had aftermarket a3 cams. This build lead to me making the video about performance A3 cams vs stock A2 (true vtec) cams. That’s why I didn’t get how it was unclear. But I will also say that I did say he used performance a3 cams and if he upgraded to vtec killer he would make gains. But indie tend to speak to fast sometimes so I gotcha

    I would not use the stock a3 crank and rods if I was going to rev it to 8 they just seem to weak. If the bottom end has a2 crank pistons and rods then you should be good to 8500 with a type s pump the head is holding that engine back I have seen stock a3 block with a2 head completely stock make more power than that.

      The head swap is obvious. And seems like you missed the part where I said the entire rotating assembly was replaced

      VHB Engines that is why I said I’ve seen stock blocks with just a2 head make more
      Because I expected the a2 pistons and rods and crank to atleast make 200 even with the stock a3 head because of compression but what I was simply saying is for all that work and to only get 192 is shitty

    my fn2 has the rsp-2 head.with the nippon racing rrc pistons and rod with full bolt on could i make 200+ ?

      @@VHBEngines stupid typo,ment to say 300.all got 190hp at the wheels with tegiwa 4-2-1 manifold invidia q300 and a j35 throttle body and tegiewa cold air intake,got my grams 550cc injectors on the way and lining up an rrc intake and throwing away the tegiwa air box and replacing it with the hybrid racing cold air.should give me 200 at the wheels.but i want 300 at the wheels in a 2lt,not 2.2 or 2.4 i want a 2lt no one can drink lol.

      Full Bolt Ons isn’t vague. It’s every bolt on that can be added. The quality of those bolt ins is a different thing. This is also why the thumbnail is a pic of the bay. You get an idea of the kind of money spent from what you can easily see
