"Sowing, Seeds, and Soil"
As a teacher, Jesus was, in part, a storyteller who used parables to illuminate, challenge, engage, and instruct his followers. The Parable of the Sower in Mark chapter 4 offers much for us to reflect on as we consider how we learn, grow, and embody Jesus’ teachings in our lives. Parables are filled with images and ideas that we can sit with, let percolate, and come back to as we journey along in life and faith. This Sunday, we’ll ponder sowing, seeds, soil, and more.
