Thanks for reacting to the "American Reject" trailer and to Angelica's behind-the-scenes video with her cover of "Chapter One." Oh, so many things to talk about. First, yes you recognized Rebecca Black of "Friday" fame. She is one of four actors in this film who actually competed on a television talent competition and was voted off -- Angelica of course from AGT (twice), Rebecca Black (The Four), "Big Mike" Lynche (American Idol) and Kathleen Monteleone (Grease: You're the One that I Want), whose story is the basis for the film. Rebecca, Big Mike, and Kathleen play the three finalists of this season of "Pop Star Now" and Angelica plays a young singer taking voice lessons from Kathleen's mother. Billy Ray Cyrus and Juvenile are two of the judges on the "American Idol"-like panel. Angelica's role in the movie was big enough for her to get a top-line credit. The dress issue is from a "Janet Jackson"-like wardrobe malfunction. And the studio isn't Angelica's but rather the songwriter's.
To our knowledge, Angelica has had 3 vocal coaches -- she started with Trisha Grey of "Sing Like a Star Studios" when she was just 5 years old. During her first run on AGT, she wanted a coach with experience on a TV competition show so she moved to Tara Simon (who is a RUclips creator and there is a great video of her interviewing Angelica) and just this past July she started with Cheryl Porter (you've reacted to two videos of Angelica working with Cheryl). But as you have pointed out, Angelica isn't just a singer, she's a performer and she hasn't limited her training to just vocal coaches. She attended the "Broadway Dreams" workshop when she was just 6 years old and the Blank Stages Acting Studio when she was 8-9 years old. She attended an acting summer camp this past summer. She's taken dance classes and right now is learning tap dancing which she will need for her upcoming role in a Broadway musical. She recently posted on her Facebook story that she is starting to understand the direction she wants to head in life, and we're excited to see where she goes.
Angelica's discipline and love for her craft are unmatched. I've been so closely following her career, and I can say that she's painting it so beautifully and inspiring with so many life lessons to learn. She has given me so many positivities in life too.. I love this young girl. Makes me feel younger, too😊.

It was 2018 when they started the movie it took 4 years to complete n last Year April 2022 they released out the movie n the main characters in the movie they try to find a little girl Sings like Whitney Houston ANGELICA HALE was 10 by then on AGT so She was known for a little girl with a big voice so they found her n She was the right one for the part All the Casts Members loved her not only her Voice but her Shining Personality please check out the interview from the Main Stars n the Director of the movie.
Just some info in response to your comment that the movie starred a lot of people you didn't know. I'm surprised that you didn't recognize Keala Settle who played the bearded lady in "The Greatest Showman" given her big song "This is Me." Annaleigh Ashford is currently starring in the TV series "B Positive" and Bryan Batt was one of the main characters in the TV series "Mad Men." And Juvenile is an award-winning rapper.
You need to watch the movie so you can get the whole story n it was a real event that happened to the main Singer that was lost to the other Singer on the Competition n what happened to her dress just like American Idol but American Reject is the one that was rejected please check out the movie.
