I'm massively impressed with your skill,,and it is so inspiring me to give it a try on my own! But on a smaller scale, just to start to learn! Much respect! You are a master at a craft that not many do these days and that is very sad to me! Such beauty should be held as a treasure !

I learn a lot watching your videos. I learn technique watching your tool handling, sequencing as you develop a carving and last of all the carving form as you develop it. The improvement in my carving is noticeable as I emulate you. Thank You!

Masterpiece. Your video was really satisfying to watch. In high school I carved in plaster and was surprised at how well I did. Then I went to work. Just retired. I have all the tools and dry plaster (and joint compound). And just realized I can start with small parts and pieces. I also want to paint and colored plaster is one medium I am interested in.

Very impressing. Everytime I watch a so fine work I feel paralized by the beauty.
I have the same passion too but, unfortunely I've never found a "master" to teach my at least the basics, so it's all up to me.

I’ve been mysteriously fascinated with C scrolls and acanthus leaves...after years of drawing them I’ve realized I’ve just got a rococo soul.
I set out to put them in wood...it’s HARD!! No matter how easy YOU make it look!!
I want to dedicate WAY more time to this ...I know I can get there...monetary motivation would be a huge help...that being said:
Can a living be made off this and this alone ?
Do you make yours in this fashion?
