I tried doing this myself a few minutes ago, while I did pull it off, *Holy Hell is it difficult to pull off in a single run* The fact you pulled this off accidentally and kept the stealth going after that is unbelievably impressive.
It's designed for you to get spotted at 3 different points. Unless you know they are coming, and are really good at consistent wall jumping, you'll fall for the traps every time. You'd have to practice quite a bit to avoid them.

If that guy did survive im sure the last thing he'd do would be to sneak into our ship. Pirate B: Dunno. Heard he wrecked Mother Brain, so might be that the guy thinks hes invincible or what. Pirate A: Whatever, if he came in we'd discover him, i mean, this place is a fortress. Pirate B: I mean...yeah, good point. There's no fucking way someone got in here without detection. Samus: :^)

Nah it makes sense, it's way easier to just let them see you than try to stay hidden the whole way through.

Even looking at this at 0.25x speed, I can't tell what the trick to the first guy is. Is it just frame perfect or is there something I'm missing?
The description notes that the first shot is indeed frame-perfect, but only 5% of the time. Otherwise it's impossible.
