    Another really enjoyable video. One suggestion for anyone burning timber, get a moisture meter. An extra 6 months seasoning might make the difference between 20% and 15% no comparison while burning. Totally different heat output.

    Great video Adrian, a fine log splitter, just a idea, ur hose connections to tractor, if u put the return a non-restricted return, (not through valve chest) on massey's there's place's to put in fittings, non-restricted returns will save external chest on log splitter. Mechanic told me to do it years ago, I put one on for my tractors for log splitter, road sweeper n hedgecutter.

    Great video, really enjoying your channel. One potential problem I can see with that splitter is if the wedge/blade gets wedged or caught in a log and lifts with it on the return stroke could it come up and bend the handles or worse trap your hand if it was on the handle, maybe there should be a guard to stop a log coming up to meet the handle. I know it would want to be well stuck into a knot or a twist but it could happen. Other than that it looks like a great bit of kit and well built.

    Adrian great video. When you put those big rings on the splitter you’ll see why the single lever is the best. Another thing I noticed with yours is the splitter wedge is about half as thick as the malone log splitter is highly recommend you make that wedge wider and the splitting will be way more easier than it is now..
    I really enjoy your videos I’m a mayo man living in California. Stay safe and god bless. 🙏

    • @IFarmWeFarm
      @IFarmWeFarm  3 года назад +1

      We cut up most of them big rings yesterday with it, with the big table it worked like a dream, I wouldn’t swap them levellers for the world, u have to use them to see how handy they are and that quick return is awesome. I also think the splitter wedge is the perfect width too. Everyone different though but the beauty with Carroll’s is they will build what ever you request so, there’s nothing they can’t do. Thanks for watching lad, Mayo for Sam maybe this year 🤞🤞hope your keeping safe and well over there 👍👍

    Another quality video as usual. I'd suggest having the log splitter raised level with the tipsy bin and then all you'd have to do is push / swipe the logs into the bin rather than lifting them all the time. That bit higher would also be better on the back. Bit higher to lift logs onto though, I'd admit. Cracking machine all the same.

    I love that bin! There is another handy product, you probably wont need it since you cut your logs so short. Its called Woodcutters helper, its a magnet with a fiber rod to attach to the chainsaw blade it helps you getting the same length on every cut. If you google woodcutters helper it should come up on the first links from ebay a little costly in my opinion might be you could use one of those telescopic magnets mechanics use to pick up screws instead im not sure at least they are under half the price.
