I can only imagine how much skill it takes to be able to do what these two can do. I really enjoy watching people play the piano,especially when they are as good as these two guys are.

soooo awesome!! this level of rhythm , improvisation and virtuosity are insane. it is sad that most people wouldn't be able to understand anything that is happening in this video. they are both referencing famous classical pieces (one of them was hungarian rhapsody no 2) and stride pieces (one was handfull of keys), as well as referencing each others solos. another thing was how they just constantly changed from playing 4 hands to alone at a moments notice and then trading fours, while on the same piano lol, while standing up (this video is just ridiculous). and this isnt coming from an amature pianist, i have played for 16 years and completed a bachelor of music. but the level of compitance displayed in this improvised performance is just crazy. this video should have millions of videos, but most people wouldnt have any idea what is happening. somone should make a video explaining this video

@@sergannn It is true. They probably practiced a lot of these transitions together and licks before this performance. Not that it takes away from the impressiveness of it at all
Alex, although it may seem that way, other than a two minute consultation before playing together, there was no rehearsal or practice at all…we simply named the piece, decided who would start where and took it from there! Glad we had you fooled!!

I was so impressed at 5:32 when one of the pianists quickly pushes up his glasses with one hand and then continues to play without missing a beat or making any mistakes.

Incredibly wonderful - Bravo! After You've Gone would get my vote as one of the very best songs ever written. What a gift Turner Layton - fantastic chord progression and melody, and Henry Creamer - great, timeless lyrics, gave to the world way back in 1918. The song sounds great as a sultry ballad, and even better jazz'd and gypsy'd up. This performance was full of such good energy above and beyond the magnificant playing including a lot of great symbiotic passages. It is a gift to us in it own right.

Mazin, appreciate your input, but please remember Jimin Park’s version of this (as of all the other tunes she plays) is arranged ahead of time; when you hear her play it 6 months later, you are hearing the same notes in the same places: thus, while containing an element of swing, she is really playing a classical piece.
