Whassup party people! Sorry for the upload inconsistency, we've been busy with 'real life' stuff the past month or so. Christmas-themed reactions will be coming your way soon, hopefully... 🤞 In the meantime, we hope you enjoyed this VoicePlay video as much as we did!
“I would have smacked you.” Now there’s an honest reaction! This is another brilliant Geoff arrangement - one that he’s been working on for years. And as with his last few arrangements, he builds to such a climax that he doesn’t leave reactors any room to pause toward the end. But that’s Ok. We can see everything in your faces, and no matter how many times we’ve heard it, we don’t want it to stop either.
This is Grammy worthy in my opinion. So amazing. Rachel is doing this on Broadway and Emoni is just a powerhouse. Everyone else is just as awesome as usual, but I've got to shout out to Layne in this one. Wow! Goeff's arrangement is perfect. Geoff's God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is stunning too.
Do go back and re-listen while paying close attention to the AMAZING beatboxing Layne is doing throughout this entire video. Some of the runs he does are mind-boggling!
like you I think Cesar fits so well it feels he’s been singing with them forever and he’s so cute! look at his face when he sees the bubbles and when he looks at Geoff when they sing because I knew you. It’s impossible not to love him.❤️🏴
geoff and rachel are both the definition of insane range. geoff definitely has a larger range, but together they are both so comfortable in their voices its truly amazing.
I expected Rachel to nail the Gravity song just because she is so talented. What surprised me was how moved I was in the “friends” song (sorry, haven’t seen it and don’t know the name. ). I love how they all looked over at each other during it (especially Cesar - could he be any more adorable?). By having them spaced out, they really were able to be more expressive in their acting. I love Eli’s choreography (don’t know what else you would call it) in Good News. He just embodies the joyous feeling. I don’t know if it is because I have watched it so often or not but their faces and even posture were more expressive. And after watching so many reactors with musical training, I actually caught the bookending riffs at the beginning of Good News - Cesar sliding up the scale and Eli sliding back down. Progress! Be sure to check out Geoff’s Christmas offering. And Home Free has a surprising one out Full of Good Cheer
Wicked is one of those crowd pleasing musicals, there’s gonna be a movie version of it soon! And thanks for reminding us about Home Free, it’s been a while since we reacted to them! 😄
I’ve never seen Wicked, but oh my, if VoicePlay was doing all the music, you couldn’t keep me away. I loved your enthusiasm in this reaction. The ending had me in tears.
I love watching your reactions to Voiceplay. You start with big smiles and they just get bigger. Appreciate the fangirl/fanboy reaction! I have never seen Wicked, I didn't realize that the songs were not sequential, thanx for that. You know when you listen to VP that you are not going to get the original, but they do pay homage to it. As others have mentioned, Layne was amazing in this one. Geoff's arrangement of this as well as Hoist the Colours is mind boggling. Please, if you have time in your Christmas themed reactions, do Geoff's God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
I love your reactions to these songs. It was really fun to watch your expressions. This was so nicely done, I loved it. You did know that Emoji was on the Sing Off the same season as Voiceplay and Home Free in a group called Ten.
She was the understudy for the role of Glinda on the 2nd National Tour. The role she played on Broadway was for The Addams Family musical as Wednesday.
The part of the arrangement where Rachel and Emoni harmonize together and sing ''I do believe I have been changed for the better'' until they transition to the next song, reminded me a lot of the When You Believe duet Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston did together. This medley is amazing. Pretty much the musical wrapped up in 7 minutes. Awesome to see your reaction. Season Greetings.
You really have to listten to Voiceplay's latest: The Greatest Showman Medley. They managed to go one better yet again. Rachels power is breathtaking. ruclips.net/video/OfzpL-gwP4Y/видео.html

Heh heh the more we watch VoicePlay videos the more we find it hard to find appropriate places to pause 🤣

It’s about time VoicePlay got some Grammy attention! Give PTX a run for their money LOL 😝

If you're looking for a Christmas Voiceplay video to react to, I recommend checking out Mission: Jingle Bells. It's different and a lot of fun!
That’s a great suggestion, thanks! 🎄

For me, this was a masterpiece of an arrangement by Geoff. I enjoy it every time. I think he got pieces of about half the songs in there.
Rachel was the understudy on Broadway with Elphaba's role.......best choice for this video.....love your reactions....>^^

Rachel’s too dang talented! 😆
Eli is also doing bass at "it's so wonderful part" by geoff
Ooh I think you might be right 😲
What a great reaction! I absolutely love it when reactors totally geek out on amazing content! Keep 'em coming!!!!!
Yaaaas we try our best! 🤩
I’m glad you found the time to react to this in the middle of all the “real life” stuff going on! Wish all of you the best!
Thanks so much for the support! 🥰
It took Geoff about 2 years to get this arrangement how he wanted it. I think he did a great job.
