A hybrid camper, two fifth wheels and now our travel trailer and we've never had a problem with the microwave plate. I usually pack it with bread in a microwave dish cover so that might hold it down enough. I do usually have to put it back on the ring. Love your videos. We watch with our two chihuahua mix littles in our laps under a blanket.❤
On the microwave plate-We drive a motorhome and the door of the microwave flew open-the glass plate fell out and shattered and I mean shattered all over the tile floor while we were driving-Scared the crap out of us -being in the motorhome, I was able to clean up most of the mess while in route-I do remove the glass plate now from the microwave 🤷♀️⭐️🚌🇺🇸
We had a rough road that rocked the RV. We found the microwave plate in the sink and microwave door closed. We now put the plate under the sink each travel day
I only put a cut pool noodle in the microwave because I drive a motorhome and it will drive you bonkers rattling down the road, other than that, I never worried about the glass breaking. Great video, keep up the great work, hope you all enjoy your 2 week stay.
I put a cut off piece of pool noodle vertical in my microwave. Between the dish and top of microwave. Heard stories of people with shattered microwave turntable dish. I don’t want to replace that.
We have a 2022 320MKS and the same fridge. There is a bungee and pair of hooks that should have been there, and Grand Design will send those to you. We also use a stick-on baby latch in addition to the bungee. No more problems. BTW, we were on the Texas coast about the same time you were recently. Would have enjoyed a hookup.
Thank you! Our cap with the Velcro has done a pretty good job since we had issues before . I guess it got pretty wild back there. I do like the bungee option. We may have to do that.
Hey Angela & Cody, wife and I have been watching ya for some time. Love the video's and especially Angela's face when the train horn did its thing. If you are still in BAMA, you need to go to Dreamland Ribs. It's a must and don't forget the banana pudin... Roll Tide!!!
Congratulations, train horn achievement unlocked. And save that video clip of her reaction please it can be used in money places, lol nice job you two.
Technically, Angela ruined mine and Cody's conversation by starting the truck! BTW you have gotten almost 1200 more subs in the time it took you to get that train horn on there!

Love the horn! Great job! I’m like you and don’t like vampire splice or butt splice. And backing up the truck was funny! My truck has all the cameras and when I get where I think I’m within the lines I amaze myself, but not all the time! 😂

I would trade in a heartbeat! We may like to upgrade one day (way down the line) to a toy hauler, but like you, we aren’t sure that we really want to go that big. It would have to be for a very specific purpose…like a toy hauler. My opinion (with no direct experience) is that once you get up to 40’ or more, you have to start getting a little more picky on your campgrounds. People that we have met with them, I believe have to take a little more caution. We really haven’t had issues with campground access overall. We would love to camp in Alabama, but future us may do that still have that four-letter word "Work" in the way 😂 We have had 5 campers, we have never done anything with the microwave plate...............Hopefully I didn't just jinx us!!!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Congratulations on the Horn!!!

Great video. Just wondering if you could take a couple pictures of where you mounted the horns and the compressor. We own the same truck just a idea where you mounted them .
For your microwave question, I’ve never stuffed anything in there either and have never had a broken glass tray. I suppose it will happen now that I said that! 😂
We had heard a lot about people having the glass turntable break in transit so I cut down a pool noodle so it squeezes it down and have never had a problem. When we set up it's ready to use without having to centre it.
I was wondering about the Horn. So that was y'all I heard yesterday LETTIN HER FLY😂. I'm in the Dallas area. Alabama is a beautiful State. Much like Arkansas and Texas, many different types of scenery. 👍
We wrap the glass plate in a towel to stop the rattling sound. People with a motorhome are more cognizant of sound. We do a lot of weird stuff to cut down on clinking sounds.
Have to love the train horn for those special type of drivers. We have never packed the microwave full of stuff. We have a couple of plastic bowls that we keep in there as they really only fit there. Never have had to actually reset the glass plate on the wheels either.
The mikes work great. Our microwave plate rides in the drawer wrapped in a tea towel. The horns are necessary, especially when towing. Safe travels and good health.
Put a eye hook on both sides of the fridge and then use a bunny cord to keep the doors from opening while traveling. Good to see the horn installed sounds good!
Ordering a bunny cord now! 😁 Our little cap with Velcro normally holds it, but I’m wondering if we need to do something different. I’m thinking it just gets too wild on the back side of the RV. I like the bungee idea though!
I had no idea there was an official procrastination two weeks! Had I known, I would have….well, I probably would have thought of something to do to celebrate, then ultimately put it off. But still, good to know! 😂
well done sneaking that horn blast in. We haven't done anything special for the plate in the microwave. Just had large plastic bowls in there during travel, because you know it is storage space. :)
I know y’all just left the Miss Gulf coast. My wife and I are originally from Gulfport but have lived in the NE Tn area for the last 14 1/2 years. When y’all showed the big rocking chair at Dedeaux Furniture on Canal Rd. It brought back lots of memories. There is a catfish restaurant to the left of it called Catfish Charlie’s that we use to go to all the time. Some really good food back in the day.
I go to Alabama for work a ton but we’ve never RVd down there. We put a towel under the microwave plate. Great solution for the horns. I am jealous LOL
Still binge watching through you videos and ran across this one. Regarding the glass plate in the microwave, we cut a small length of pool noodle and wedged it between the glass plate and the top of the microwave. It has enough force to keep the plate in place while we are moving with our camper. And a train horn....how cool is that.
On the audio, great choice in mics. They're doing a great job and you'll what works best when wearing them, but they do add a lot to the video. For the microwave, we've never had an issue, but have read where other have, so we just take the glass place and put it in the oven for travel days. And great job with the horn!!!! Thanks for sharing all of it with us!
Thanks! We went through two different mic brands in this video alone..ha! One didn't make it long, so we sent it back. We have some tinkering to do with them still. I keep reading about the microwave too, but nothing specific. Makes ya wonder. Of course, I figure since we said it out loud, the next video will have a shattered microwave plate. HA!
Here ya go! It is pretty great! Someone we knew was talking about getting one at the rally and they were so excited that we had to look at them. We got-got. 😁 amzn.to/4c5urOD
Cody, I think you have a problem. It’s ok to talk about it, you know. Us men go through these phases ….. that is a serious heat shrink collection you have there! 😅
Ahahaha! The roll of solder that I have, was from my great grandpa’s stash, when he passed in 1997. Who knows how long he had it! And believe me, from a teenage boy and on, I USED it! ..I may have a problem…but I can stop any time! 😆
Fantastic! It wasn’t his best turkey, because he accidentally ran out of pellets and think that it impacted it, OR because it was direct-smoke instead of in a pan. We will keep playing with it, but they always come out so moist and have a great flavor.
We have a 337. Everything comes out. Extra wear on the micro switches from door movement from the glass plate just shortens the life of the unit. I have replaced the door and all key pad components and have no desire to do it again. Just my opinion and we also taped the door on travel days.
I have been using the Pit Boss brand until I get the feel of it. I used both Traeger and off-brands on the other, but I felt like some of the knock off brands would get clogged up easier than the name brand. I’m not married to any brands at this point. I’ll try some cheaper brands and see how they do on this one. If we can save a buck or two, great!
I've been wanting to ask you what bike rack yall use and how you like it. We are in the market and don't know anything about the racks thanks yall. Love your channel
We get that question a lot! We went to a bike shop for help, since we didn’t know what kind to get either. We went with the Swagman, which we had heard good things about. The link below is our style and supposedly “RV rated” but our bikes are the XP Lites, so the main thing to look for is weight and make sure it can handle your specific weight. It may at least get you pointed in the right direction. amzn.to/48NhBl5
This is a the Lippert table. It will lower some too. A friend was talking about it at the rally last year and when we looked at it, we were suckered. It has been SO handy! We didn't plan to spend the money on it at the time, but we have used the heck out of it! amzn.to/4c5urOD
We have a similar table, but doesn’t support the weight of our pit boss smoker. So I will check this out. Thanks for the info. You be safe and have a wonderful Saturday.

Here ya go! It is pretty great! Someone we knew was talking about getting one at the rally and they were so excited that we had to look at them. We got-got. 😁

@@RVUntethered Thank you
Cody, I think you have a problem.
How did that turkey turn out? Would of liked to see that.
Interesting! I admit that I’m surprised at how many people have said the same. Maybe we should take this extra step. 🧐
Girl you have the prettiest blue eyes 👀. 👋😊
Awe thanks!
Great horn! What kind of pellets do you like? I typically use Costco (40 lbs for $12!) or Bear Mountain. Safe travels

@@RVUntetheredThank you sir. yes ours are the 2.0 so i will make sure and check out the weight requirements.
It totally looked like "Dave" from "Stewart's" sold you a crack pipe! 😂
🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I’m in tears!! It DOES look like a crack pipe!!
“Dave” from “Stewart’s
Leave it to Kevin to ruin your video lol LOVE those guys Paving New Paths !! ( But I watch you guys the most ) 😂
Haha! Right?! 🤣
Hey Guys…love the videos. Quick question, what brand is the portable outside table your using for the pit boss. Thanks and safe travels
This is a the Lippert table. It will lower some too. A friend was talking about it at the rally last year and when we looked at it, we were suckered. It has been SO handy! We didn't plan to spend the money on it at the time, but we have used the heck out of it!

We have a similar table, but doesn’t support the weight of our pit boss smoker. So I will check this out. Thanks for the info. You be safe and have a wonderful Saturday.
@@2024weride You bet! Thank you!
Pillow in microwave and strap refrigerator door, or gorilla tape across the doors.
We know from experience. 😂
Oh wow! Gorilla tape!
Yes, just a strip across the doors, alcohol will remove any sticky residue if necessary.
I put our bread in the microwave. But we have a class A and hear all the noise.
That makes sense!
TRAIN HORN????
🤣
Oh yea - another pickup with a train horn. Irony - train horn interrupting your video,
Bwahahahaha! Touché!!
I have to give this a thumbs down. I hate the stupid train horn! But i loved the rest of the video lol
Hopefully a fake thumbs down! 😆 I (Ang) still think they’re dumb, but it’s done and he giggle like a little girl, every time he honks it. So…💁♀️
