Love your videos. Thanks for sharing your experiences. A question I have for anyone reading this: I have a 24v system and want to run my 240v well pump on a grid down scenario. I do not need an inverter that provides 120 and 240v in split phase, as I have 120v inverters that do the job. Is there an option out there that isn't $1000 that provides 240v only in 180 degree opposing waves for a pump? I'd prefer a pure sine option. Thanks.
@scottosborn4820 I would bet 120v would be fine for your pump, it would save a bunch of $ but the only thing is it's a soft start not sure if that would work on 120v
Q: I'm not American, but spend a disproportionate amount of time online and I noticed that over the past years, Walmart is offering an increasing about of non supermarket items, like it is becoming Amazon, offering the worst of Chinese surplus? Am I right? (Not at all implying those cells are bad)
no these came in a Walmart sold solar power station around 10 years ago, I bough a bunch from an online auction and still have a few of them, they still work lol i edited using this battery and am still running off the battery in this video now lol at 314Wh so far hoping for 1.4kwh :)
How are they measuring for capacity and internal resistance? Seems like they would have to be insanely cheap to be worth buying considering they're 10 years old.

One thing to add, my well pump is a soft start 10 amp reading on both legs.
Your well pump should run on 120 as well, I would look into that, is your well very deep?
My well is 40 foot deep.

non-walmart supermarkets doing that too here in Europe, quality is pretty good, and price sometimes 1/3 than brand goods

Merry Christmas recycling cells make good battery lol too bad about the smoke but maybe it be good.
so far its been running my bar fridge printer computer for about 3 hours and going strong so far :)
