We didn't realise how big the place was. It's a really intersting place with excellent displays. Even Mel enjoyed it, although she did get a bit tanked out by the afternoon.
I'm not overly keen on military museums as a whole, but I have to say this looked like a good exhibition. I would be willing to pay a visit on the proviso that the cafe offered a decent jumbo sausage and chips. I am always keen to know where the best battered sausage in town might be when you go off visiting these exotic places. Although, I would be somewhat hesitant to ask about battered sausages in a garrison town such as Bovington.
@@steffanhoffmann8937 i Fully agree,hence why i put the .....after my comment about the trench display.... its not there to promote war,but to remind us how aweful it was,young men put "over the top" and killed.....on both sides,History,we learn and think how sad and scary that must have been to the young men. to watch a History vlog and then feel insulted enough for you to get upset,........take up fishing or something mate.
Very interesting. I remember seeing many different conceptual vehicles rolling on the road being hauled back-and-forth for MRAP designs for Afghanistan and Iraq. The Hummers were made here in Indiana. And once the IEDs were a thing, there were lots of different almost look like boat v-hulled vehicles they must’ve been testing
There's nothing remotely interesting about war. It creates havoc. Destroys people's lives. Displaces millions in Ukraine currently. Creates tyrants like Vladolf Putin.

Seriously, that place has grown since I was there last. We visited in the sixties and, sadly, when I take the family to those parts these days it gets voted out 3 to 1. Still, enjoying the vid. Have you tried the Portsmouth Naval Dockyard - HMS Victory and others - or the submarine museum at Gosport?
Luckily, it was only a 50:50 decision for us. Mel did actually enjoy it when we were there. Yes, we have been the Naval Dockyard (before we started vlogging), it was near Christmas and they had lots of people dressed up, lots of fun.
I was surprised to see this given the situation in Ukraine. So I had to give you a first unlike. Ten million refugees would say that the tank can be devastating with a Z on it. I used to live in Kyiv one year and Odessa three. Before I moved to Alanya. I moved on 31st March 2021. Because of Putin even then playing on the borders. My friend was killed in shelling in Chernhiv, whilst trying to save his kids, from his apt being blasted by a tank. UK is now number 1 target by Putin because of Johnson. Tanks won't do anyone any good then.
No offence, but I think the best place to see a tank is in a museum! It does not glorify war in any way but shows you the conditions and the important history (which we continue to ignore and go on to repeat the same mistakes). Not showing this does not help. By the way, I agree Johnson is pretty incompetent but you do live in Turkey and as leaders go, Erdoğan sounds like an authoritarian s**t. I am pleased you've watched my videos in the past but no, I will not ignore our important history, hopefully, if more people visit they' might actually learn.

Takes a ridiculous bureaucratic time with UK and since BREXIT they're struggling to get workers. However you know about that. Plus he's been far more benevolent to Ukraine refugees. He tries to stay friends with both Vladolf Putin and Prez Zelynski. I stay out of it obviously. However now I'll have my turn about Johnson. He's a liar, unscrupulous. End of.
Steffan,i think its fair to say that everyone who watched this vid feels the pain of what is going on in Ukraine,to have a go at someone who just doing a Vlog of a day out at a Museum and REMINDING us about HISTORY is not in the wrong,i myself have done many trips to Ukraine work wise & worked with the Ukraine armed forces many times & still have many friends over there,but yet,i saw no Z or even V or O on the vid Marcus uploaded.

On some weekends they have the tanks driving in the neighbouring arena.
