I have the same hot tub I had 5 small holes on the ribs inside, tried many items. This year I got a solvent pvc cement with an activator and this has sealed holes all in the inside. Also used for boats ect, but I think I will get some of these as my girls are a little heavy handed when they get in and out! Cheers!👍🏼

There has been a large number of patches put over a small pin prick. I have removed these but there appears to be set glue or cement on the original hole. Do you know how I can remove this without making the hole bigger please or will solvent cleaner remove this too?
Hi Brendan. Sorry about taking sooo long to get back to you mate. I suppose it’s dependent on what repair patches you are using. If you’re using the patches I’ve used, then I can definitely say yes you can.

I tried this. Mine stuck but when I spray the soapy water over the new patch, I can see the the air leaks still . Used the same solvent as well. Gonna try StormSure next... If you read the product description, it does say its a temporary patch and more permanent repair is needed.
Hi Craig. It’s a temporary repair patch for a sea bound inflatable dingy/boat. It’s more than sufficient and Me and hundreds of other people have found it to be absolutely perfect for this job. Where about was the hole? Was it on or near a seam maybe?
@@themultiskillbuilder501 it's a laz y spa Hawaii, very similar to your videos. The hole is about 6 inches from the valve. I used a full one of the small patches... I'll have another go and make a smaller one. If not I'll try the stormsure
Nice video and they look a lot better than the Bestway official “heavy duty repair patch” however just look at the comments and seeing the feedback isnt great for repairing near a seam. Wondering if you could take a look if I sent you a photo over please?
Overall it does depend where the puncture is. My repair was on an open smooth area, so the patch went straight on and worked great. A bit of common sense still has to be used, but overall a few people have stated it didn’t work over a seem. It was clear to see mine was on a smooth part, which allowed me to apply the patch. Thanks
The Multi Skill Builder mine in on the underside of the Miami about 1-2 inches from the floor seam but because it’s cloth material over the top I can’t get it smooth as it’s already got a couple of snags. Maybe if these patches don’t work I might have to remove the cloth and cover the small hole then cover again

Hi Becky. Yes they would work perfectly under the water. Just be aware, from the feed back I’m getting is that they aren’t to good on a seam or join, but on a flat/smooth part they work great. 😎
The patches came. Bright yellow not black like you used mate. Two of them arnt leaking but one has pushed the patch off. As it’s on the bend on the lower part of the tub
They changed the colour a few months ago, another subscriber mentioned this to me. Doesn’t affect the use. Try using a larger patch on the one that’s slipping

Just ordered some, my hole is just above the seam on the outside, probably just a little lower than yours was (stupid dog!!!) So the seam is in a awkward place. Would u reccomend applying when inflated or deflated?

Use to have one of the very first models the plastic was a lot thicker these new models Miami Paris etc the plastic is waver thin they have well done it on purpose can’t believe how cheap they are made now 3 punctures in a month stupid cats

Paul Portlock-Smith a very sharp razor blade and a lot of patience. I’ve done it this was. It works. Then clean off with solvent cleaner

If it’s on the outer black part of the Miami , these patches bond right onto it.

Followed this word for word same patches and everything and it didn’t work not sticky enough
Where was the puncture? The only people having difficulty were the one who had a puncture over or near a seam. Worked perfect for everyone else
