Ola need your help im in the band and Playing on ESP M2 7 string guitar and the guitar dont tune to 432 Hz only to 440 Hz Zero string is Okey but rest is horrible. There is a 8 Hz difference can you make for my custom 7 string guitar for 432 Hz tune. Thanks
Wanted to touch bases on the man who is filling in on guitar in Machine Head, Reece Scruggs is a friend of mine and he is from Winchester VA and he is the lead guitarist for the band Havok and my best of friends of the local band Monolith here in Winchester VA. He lived with guitars since he was born and takes his music very seriously. I think he would be a great fit for Machine Head being he has been touring with them in the last 2 years. Havok has a new album coming out also. Just giving my boy credit for his work.
Love Havok , discovered them a few years back and some of their songs immediately went to my playlist. Looking forward to the new album , thanks for the update from up here in CT!!!✌️🤘
Literally came here to leave this but of information. Reece and Havok are sick! And to add for Ola, Robb Flynn commented on Vogg’s post regarding this. So there’s some official closure there for him.
Reece looked like he was having the time of his life playing for machine head, he looked so stoked, I don't think I've ever seen a guitarist that stoked on stage. Biggest smile ever for the entire show !! Dude is awesome !
i wish dime was stilll alive man... him and ola would be doing SWOLAD..... making riffs drinking black tooth dime would be solars first and only artist... to make the brand a well known respected guitar brand
Thank you, Ola. I appreciate the insight in making music videos without the use of a production ($$$) company. The Feared video looks great. Also, before I go, please realise that you're getting a ton of fans for your solo work. Me included. ⚡️🤘
25% faster on the track is perfect for music videos and fits well when recording at 60fps and stepping that footage down to 24fps. A perfect 60 percent reduction in Premiere Pro
Reece Scruggs from Havok has been on lead guitar on all the tours Vogg couldn't do and he's killing it almost guaranteed he will be the new new guy funny too how the drummer from Havok is also now in Fear Factory.
I had a few chances to see Slayer when I was younger and it didn't go through I am so grateful that I got to see them on their last tour it was awesome and worth the wait and they played with primus badass. I wish they would bring Dave back
I thought Slayer quit in 2019 because Tom Araya wanted to recede from publicity and be a grandparent to his grandkids. Of course he is allowed to change his mind and play shows with the band, if that is what he really wants to do now. But it does have that bad taste of milking the audience
So reece scruggs from havok took over the position for machine head and havoks drummer is playing for fear factory. Just saw them in Atlanta, got to meet the whole band, met Dino and Rob. Super cool guys and was an awesome show. Havok is a really good band
1st, thats badass we get new FEARED!!! Love Marco's vocals and Ola's ok too. XD As for Slayer, they DID do their last tour in 2019. They never said a damn thing about never playing again. Playing a few shows a year isnt touring. I can appreciate the fact that they are doing festivals so a shitload of people can come see them. Maybe not up close and personal like most Slayer shows were, but hearing the boys shredding it again would be amazing. Maybe we get a few more dates a year, but overall its great to know Slayer is back!
Job For a Cowboy released their first album in ten years, and it does not disappoint. It's basically a part two to their Sun Eater album. Also, All Shall Perish has scheduled a reunion. Great stuff for death metal this year 🤘🏻
First you pretend to leave, you do a farewell tour, the fans buy it and take it seriously. You take a break for a few years and come back, everyone is excited, the concerts sell out, the merch sells. It's fantastic, but in the end it turns out it's all about money.
They did however say straight out when they stopped that they would probably gonna do some festival shows here and there. Can't really be more transparent than that, money or not? :)
It's nice that Slayer is "kinda" back, although I'm unlikely to see them again because I rarely go to festivals, especially the huge festivals where they're most likely gonna show up (if they ever come back to Europe, it will probably be Wacken and Hellfest). I gotta say I'm still annoyed at them for NOT coming to France during their final tour. Not a single date in France, when they had at least 3 gigs in f'ing Germany, right next door. Screw that ! At least I'm lucky to have seen them quite a few times, including my 3rd concert ever (the "Tattoo the Planet" festival in september 2001, shortly after 9/11. Pantera were supposed to be there too, but they cancelled because of the WTC attack, so I never got to see them live)
I just saw Machine Head in Detroit Michigan two weeks ago I was hoping to see Vogg playing with them, but this clears things up. Fuckin A! I can't wait to see Decapitated at Saint Andrews Hall May 6th. Cancer Culture Tour 2024 ☀🔥
i havent cared about machine head since blackening but i think when band members leave its important to have an official statement as fast as possible otherwise rumors and all that negative shit starts. not that i agree with the megadeth bassist firing but dave had a whole paragraph ready before i even knew what his situation was.
Still have my Joey Jordison BC Rich Warlock blood splatter. Got it back in 2013 from Musician’s Friend for $300 new on close out. Wish I’d gotten 4 of them for that price.
I was sad that Slayer quit because I never got the chance to see them live, so yeah, hopefully they'll hit some festival in Finland sometime soon and I'll finally get to see them. Regarding the Feared single -> I'll buy the full album when that comes out, maybe with a hoodie if it looks as cool as all the Feared artwork has been so far.
MH hasn’t released an official statement yet, but Robb did comment on Vogg’s IG post thanking him for the time they had and wishing him all the best with Decap and the fam. I’d be shocked if Reece Scruggs isn’t officially announced following the current tour. He’s done this tour as well as the other tours Vogg couldn’t make due to overlapping tours as well as the visa issues they had. Would be cool if Logan came back, although I don’t know if he can do the Demmel era stuff of the last album.
Slayer unexpected. With the way our inflation is they probably ran out of money. Under the Potato Administration everyone is struggling. That Jason Becker single was awesome.
Hàil Slayer and thanks Ola for today's Sunday show. I'm hoping Solar pink will find its way to a couple more models eventually. I'd like to see it on a T Fr single solar plus and no pickgaurd with any color hardware!
Even though the plugin market is very saturated. I'd love to see an Ola Englund signature plugin with his presets. Guy plays thrash metal, Nu Metal, black metal. He likes all the metals lol. Make a chug plugin please!!
Tom did say that they would play a few shows every once in a while after the final tour so I don’t know why everyone is losing their shit with slayer returning for a couple festivals.
I reckon you're right. Partially easier lighter scheduling for Tom and partially financial. Something a bit like what Ihsahn does with Emporer but on Slayer scale.
I'm not happy that Slayer are back because it's unlikely that I'll ever see them live again. I have all their albums and saw them live 8 times with all album lineups. I had mentally been at peace with Slayer being finished and felt privileged to see them on the opening European show of their farewell tour. Now it feels like that privilege was taken away because people are going to get a more exclusive experience of one-off shows. Yes that might come across as a bit selfish but a fan doesn't want their favourite band taking away from the best experiences. That intro song was definitely not nu-metal because (yay!) it had a guitar solo in it. I really like that v guitar too. Floyds can be a pain to deal with at times but I'd rather have one on my guitar because it's worth it for the whammy bar experience when everything is set up and working properly.
The Slayer reunion news is awesome! They retired way too early and this news makes me happy! Zero hate, just hope eventually they make an appearance in Australia. Nice work on the new Feared single too Ola, have a great Sunday 🥳🤘
Sounds like a need to create an annual new Woodstock and call it METALSHOCK for all us old school die hard's that don't want to do the daily grind on our golden years. Besides, who doesn't love a killer party!

I wouldn't like if logan mader came back to machine head because the guy doesn't really like playing guitar solos.

Havok is solid. 🤘🤘
Reece looked like he was having the time of his life playing for machine head, he looked so stoked, I don't think I've ever seen a guitarist that stoked on stage. Biggest smile ever for the entire show !! Dude is awesome !
Scruggs rips! Saw Havok open for Darkest Hour about 10 years back and was blown away. Dude deserves all the love. Absolute ripper.
Thanks Ola you reading my letter was super cool of you. Look forward to many more Swola and Content from the best In the Biz.
i wish dime was stilll alive man... him and ola would be doing SWOLAD..... making riffs drinking black tooth dime would be solars first and only artist... to make the brand a well known respected guitar brand
Coffee with Dime would have been absolutely great. December marks 20 years since he passed away.
Though a bit farfetched even if he was still alive, I admit it'd be a wholesome sight fs.
Looking forward to the new Feared material! Enjoyed seeing your recording tricks!
Thank you, Ola. I appreciate the insight in making music videos without the use of a production ($$$) company. The Feared video looks great. Also, before I go, please realise that you're getting a ton of fans for your solo work. Me included. ⚡️🤘
Love the positive turn the into jam took during the solo.
25% faster on the track is perfect for music videos and fits well when recording at 60fps and stepping that footage down to 24fps. A perfect 60 percent reduction in Premiere Pro
Remember the D.O.D. Death Metal pedal from the 90's was also blood splattered (and it sounded like s...)
I had a yellow DOD overdrive preamp. It sounded tinny like a clock radio.
Thanks for a great sunday morening before dishes oder house things and studio tme. mush to do sunday, 🙂 Be safe and skilful. Pinge
Hell yeah man! Cant wait to hear the full length Feared!
nnan that's some tasty riffs, i love your bends.
Best comments on Slayer"comeback" I have heard so far🤘🏼🎸
Pretending that its not about money is silly. Plenty of bands did it...
Wow 0:41 in & I'm chuffed! That riff scorches!! All the best from USA! \m/
Your video looks good Ola I'm gonna have to check out feared my self it was sounding really good!!!
Reece Scruggs from Havok has been on lead guitar on all the tours Vogg couldn't do and he's killing it almost guaranteed he will be the new new guy funny too how the drummer from Havok is also now in Fear Factory.
We all kinda thought SLAY3R would come back to do some shows and festivals... I'm just glad I got to see them on their last officially tour in LA...
Really cool on the making of ur video! Fkn awesome!
love that solar guitar dude. not usually a V fan but that thing looks mean af🖤
You should package picks in a prank box that sends them flying across the room.
Killer song/video, always you guys 🤘
I had a few chances to see Slayer when I was younger and it didn't go through I am so grateful that I got to see them on their last tour it was awesome and worth the wait and they played with primus badass. I wish they would bring Dave back
Kerry Queen and his dyed beard and sweet tribal tattoos
Such a sweet lil guy
Slayer is fast becoming Motely Crue
I thought Slayer quit in 2019 because Tom Araya wanted to recede from publicity and be a grandparent to his grandkids. Of course he is allowed to change his mind and play shows with the band, if that is what he really wants to do now. But it does have that bad taste of milking the audience

Loving the Ibanez Xiphos type all black look on Solar Guitars
Great video, Ola! I’m getting the hoodie! Also, the plural of vinyl is vinyl 👍
My dude you look like you're feeling way better! I hope all is well my man - love out to y'all over there in Sweden \m/
Have a good time in Spain Ola!
New Feared sneak peak sounds awesome. Ola leveling up.
The mysic video recording trick is a top notch nugget of info.
Congratulations Ola and Sweden!🎉
Alpha music is where i get my guitar setups, what a coincidence
Thanks
Yupiiiiii🎸🎸🎸🎸😁👍
SAYLER !!!! 🤘🤪🤘
'kuffin' Layser!
Saw a pic of a fishing boat once that had that on it. lol
NUFFIN SAYLER...!!! 👍😂🤘
Angler fish!
Reeling through the kingdom of the fins
Sadistic, trawler of demise
Fishing without mercy
To benefit the hungry race
The guy filling in for Vogg is my man Reece Scruggs from Havok! Absolutely amazing guitarist and a good dude too!
Blood splatter in the 80s, 2000s and now 2020s … so a trend returning every 20 years it seems 🤗
Hell yeah!
Job For a Cowboy released their first album in ten years, and it does not disappoint. It's basically a part two to their Sun Eater album. Also, All Shall Perish has scheduled a reunion. Great stuff for death metal this year 🤘🏻
the musical choices you make are so damn good it`s AMAZ-BALLS
Hola this is Maurice g u i h e e n thank you very much for showing me how to do a video appreciate it and I think you looked killer
Was looking for an 8 string and saw both the legator and schecter 😂 thought I was crazy
First you pretend to leave, you do a farewell tour, the fans buy it and take it seriously. You take a break for a few years and come back, everyone is excited, the concerts sell out, the merch sells. It's fantastic, but in the end it turns out it's all about money.
Definitely seems like it's for the money. Even tom said in an interview that's he's tired of playing shows beacuse he's getting old
I wished they were honest about it, like they could've called it cashgrab tour or something
You get up and go to your job for fun?
@@Durkheadyeah, god forbid they wanna pay their bills
They did however say straight out when they stopped that they would probably gonna do some festival shows here and there. Can't really be more transparent than that, money or not? :)
Slayer is back so there can be more Big-4 shows.
I wish
As much as I would love to see slayer again it's really not slayer in my mind without Dave Lombardo
Lmao
Cash grab, like Motley Spew. Oh we're not making any money when we don't tour, (like everyone else).
Loved that groove, great solo !
On the bloodsplatter finishes, I wouldn’t be surprised if those were made in the same factory.
Super SIC intro rif! It's like DOWN and Corrosion of Conformity and, of course, Pantera
BEAUTIFUL bro
Reece Scruggs of Havok is the guy filling in.
It's nice that Slayer is "kinda" back, although I'm unlikely to see them again because I rarely go to festivals, especially the huge festivals where they're most likely gonna show up (if they ever come back to Europe, it will probably be Wacken and Hellfest).

Righteous riff and a righteous looking guitar 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I just saw Machine Head in Detroit Michigan two weeks ago I was hoping to see Vogg playing with them, but this clears things up. Fuckin A! I can't wait to see Decapitated at Saint Andrews Hall May 6th. Cancer Culture Tour 2024 ☀🔥
Wish i still had the passion to play music.
Lovely lead tone there.
That is a gorgeous guitar 🎸.
i havent cared about machine head since blackening but i think when band members leave its important to have an official statement as fast as possible otherwise rumors and all that negative shit starts. not that i agree with the megadeth bassist firing but dave had a whole paragraph ready before i even knew what his situation was.

Regarding the Feared single -> I'll buy the full album when that comes out, maybe with a hoodie if it looks as cool as all the Feared artwork has been so far.
Michael Anthony had a blood splatter bass way way back in the day
Dang, I bought my first "real" guitar from Alpha Music in VA back in 1988 (!!) Good to know they're still doing business
MH hasn’t released an official statement yet, but Robb did comment on Vogg’s IG post thanking him for the time they had and wishing him all the best with Decap and the fam. Badass Bass Sound
That intro was great!!
The trick with recording faster at a higher FPS is brilliant!
Sick intro riffage Ola
🤘
Slayer unexpected. With the way our inflation is they probably ran out of money. Under the Potato Administration everyone is struggling. That Jason Becker single was awesome.
Love the Angel Vivaldi guitar he was playing.👍
HI Ola! always watch SWOLA it's awessome, this week intro was really sick .
Would you talk about the dean v you have!
cheers!.
Machine Head ....Reese Scruggs on guitar now!!!!! Killin it!!!

Early am riffs and slayer news to get hyped for my week! Yall listen to the new job for a cowboy release?
Congrats on another show man
I have to leave NYC because its getting to be too much
I reckon you're right. Partially easier lighter scheduling for Tom and partially financial. Something a bit like what Ihsahn does with Emporer but on Slayer scale.
Happy SWOLA!!
sick intro track!!!!!!
Slayxodus are back!
Reading the Letter was really cool Ola!! I love the new Solar V it’s ace!🤟🏻
Slayer🤘
IMO, the coolest "splatter" guitar on the market today (at least signature models) is Dan Sugarman's Kiesel Murderaxe.
Amazing
I hope Slayer does another farewell tour. I missed the last one.
that's a true professional
Good luck to Slayer, bloody legends!.
Sweet intro!
I'm not happy that Slayer are back because it's unlikely that I'll ever see them live again. I have all their albums and saw them live 8 times with all album lineups. Nothing they do now can change the show you already saw.
Your good memories of that show will be with you forever.
@@pieflies I guess so.
RUclips nipped Ola straight out of my algorithm feed. Thats odd since Ive been watching for years!
Same I had to look him up it’s weird
Best intro I've heard in 2+ years!!!
"I don't think anyone expected this piece of news right here. WHAAAAAAA!"(Slayer having a reunion.). . . It's true, Swedish sarcasm is top level shit.
The Slayer reunion news is awesome! They retired way too early and this news makes me happy! Zero hate, just hope eventually they make an appearance in Australia. Nice work on the new Feared single too Ola, have a great Sunday 🥳🤘
Slayer forever reigns
That feared song was so good man!
Killer intro Ola!!!!
Sounds like a need to create an annual new Woodstock and call it METALSHOCK for all us old school die hard's that don't want to do the daily grind on our golden years. Besides, who doesn't love a killer party!
To me, that body gesture meant: "a smooth transition without making waves"
HEJA SVERIGE 🇸🇪🎸🇸🇪
FEARED ROCKS!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Hi there 🤘
"Raging is cool. But please calm down." -Ola Englund (true 😂 right there)
