- A ton of good info on this one... My old GoPro said no more, so I did a lot of stuff to speed up this project. It's taking more time than expected, but I've found many things that need to be fixed/replaced during this process. In this video, you will discover how to replace the rear main seal and the differences between the RX-8 and RX-7 seals. I also tap the rear iron coolant hole to a 1/8 NPT, showing what to do if you consider removing the Oil Metering Pump and more. Lastly, the new GReddy radiator was mocked up to use it as a reference for another fellow FD owner. Am I really one step closer to finishing this project!?

Watching your videos motivates me to get back to work on my FD, great work man. Also, you're going to need the OEM cross brace. The radiator and intercooler mount ont that support brace
Thank you for watching. I appreciate the info. I'll try to find one then. 🙏🏽
Great content, as always! 👏🏽
Appreciate it!
Fuel pump relay wires being cut means previous owner probably bypassed the low/high rpm fuel pump resistor and ignition switch bypass. What this does is allow the fuel pump to receive a constant voltage which on the FD was notorious for running low voltage at high rpm resulting in less volume from the pump causing lean conditions and possibly motor damage.
Make sense. I forgot about that! Thanks
@@TonyWestDIY motivating me to get out and work on mine. Putting together a small video series working on mine as well, but this winter has been too long and cold to work on things here. Stoked to see other people getting theirs back together.
@SLC Builds hell yeah. Where are you located?
