From watching other reactors, they've heard of or known Slash but didn't even know what band he was in. Many people who don't really listen to rock know some songs/people from Guitar Hero & other music video games, or have heard songs on Grand Theft Auto etc.

David Lee Roth set the stage for every front man in the 80s hair metal scene. Vince knows how you control a crowd and since he was in one of the most popular and famous bands of the 80s he deserves a shot.

Roger Taylor drummer for Queen did the introduction. At the time I think Axl and Slash were more equal but Slash has made a name for himself outside of GNR. I have heard young people that know who Slash is and not who GNR is. I think this is the easiest pick so far 😊 The competition has definitely been fun.

Rage hit hard too, though. And I think Rage’s body of work is more relevant to social commentary over the years.
I've never seen this one before, but this is pure live rock as it should be. Everything is perfect, even down to the backing singers. And it's purely lost to a bygone era, unfortunately. Not a f*cking cameraphone in sight.
Axl Rose is far more famous for causing problems on a off tour than he ever was as singer. Axl caused a riot in Canada during their tour with Metallica. The night James got his arms burned. When I saw them in Detroit he caused problems at that show too.
Nowadays, if you ask people who is/was in GnR, they may mention Slash first. But back during the height of their popularity, most would've mentioned Axl first, without hesitation -- especially girls because he was considered a huge sex symbol back then.
It's never a good commercial when you can't remember the product. 😆 I don't know either, but it's a stupid commercial because Slash plays nothing, like 3 notes of Sweet Child and "You're in". Why not have him solo like he does in the end for the audition? It was a horrible disservice to his talent in my opinion. I can play the beginning of Sweet Child and I'm a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the guitarist he was when he was 12. They just did it because it's so recognizable, but that's idiotic because Slash is there and HE is the focal point, he could've been playing Mary Had a Little Lamb and it would've been just as effective. Apologies for the diatribe, but I've written and directed commercials for decades, so dumb shit like that bothers me. It must've been one hell of a payday!

Slash is one of the best not only for his touch but also for his charisma. But it looks like they haven't seen Ozi's Zacwaidle Osborn has a lot to learn...
Slash is more well known than Axl cause he was more commercial than Axl. Axl stayed locked down in his own mansion for almost 7 years, besides that, Axl has never liked to give interviews and be on the media. On the other hand, Slash has done many collaborations, ha was on Guitar Hero and has other bands. But talking about talent, Axl is one of the best of all time. And between Axl vs Zack de la Rocha, I'm sorry, but Axl is in a place where only very few singers are. Zack is great, but can't be compared to Axl. Never.
Let's just say ... the original lyrics to this song's chorus, as written by Slash, spoke about big women and their ... physical attributes (Google is your friend 😜) That, and ... Slash is the reason why I picked up the guitar. My poor mother probably hates him for that 😂
I'd say Slash has the bigger name now because he has kept working with other artists. Axl Rose seemed to self implode due to his own horrible behavior, antics & overall difficult personality & has mostly faded into obscurity. When Axl was in his prime, he was better known.
Axl Rose has not faded into obscurity. Axl has kept GnR alive throughout the years. Axl had also stepped up to help AC/DC complete their tour, in 2016. GnR are still rocking & touring the world. Also in 2016 Slash & Duff had returned to GnR. GnR have since been tight, happy & very successful :)
@@terriertz5134, Slash does seem to do a lot more things outside of GnR than Axl does (although Axl does too, just not as much as Slash) & Axl is a fairly private person these days (he is also a lot happier than back when, so we do not get to see anymore rants/ fights, lol). Axl's performances are mostly with GnR so you can see him Live, on stage (on-line recordings do not do his vocals any justice, though. He still sounds incredible, Live), but he has also performed a version of November Rain, at Lisa Marie Presley's memorial service (sounded like he was holding back tears, as they were good friends), and in the last couple years, Axl had accepted a couple invitations from Carrie Underwood, to join her for a couple songs, during her concerts. Anyway, I could go on & on, but this is just a quick summary :)
The entire Freddie Mercury tribute concert was incredible. You should check out the entire show. Legends everywhere.

Never.
You guys should check out live stuff from Nine Inch Nails
Suggestions: anything from the Lights In The Sky Tour, their appearance on Austin City Limits, I've seen them 8 times, and it gets better every time
That Slash commercial is Capital one.
Did you guys ever know Axl Rose is an anagram for Oral Se% ? Now ya do.
Let's just say ... the original lyrics to this song's chorus, as written by Slash, spoke about big women and their ... physical attributes (Google is your friend 😜)
That, and ...
@@kerenolivero7097 That's good. I just never hear anything about Axl at all, while I just saw Slash in a Capital One credit card commercial.
@@kerenolivero7097 It's good he's doing well.
They were Rockstars for sure
React to knockin on heavens door from the same concert. Thats a fantastic performance
Is AC/DC in this competition
Axl Rose IS Guns N Roses and the band would’ve NEVER been the same without Axl….u can learn to play GNR songs but u can’t sing like Axl!!!!
Love this! :)
