We chat to singer Tori Amos

Internationally acclaimed singer Tori Amos wrapped up her first South African tour at the weekend. Audiences had nothing but rave reviews for the multiple Grammy nominee. We caught up with her to find out more about her career, her stage performances and her new album.

Dont worry everyone! Although she had surgery, i met her a few months a go and her surgery has reduced and looks like old Tori again. She's so much happier now, regardless of the fact that i still see the old Tori :) xx

Recent interviews with Tori have left me stunned with her choice of appearance. Her face simply does not move albeit for her mouth and she works hard to make gestures with her eyes as they seem to be surgically well, stuck, not to mention filled-to-frozen with Botox. Speaking as a long time fan, admirer & one who has massive respect for her God given & hard working talent, it's a shame her self image has become dysmorphia. Or perhaps she feels she has to keep up with the elite where this is simply a way of life. I choose to let what God perfectly desgned as me do what He intended. Why? Look at Meg Ryan, now a jackyll (I don't know know any other way to describe it), the Cat Woman, and countless other statued faces from sad men and women.

Her expressive face what a big part of why I loved her for so many years. Now that her features are frozen, her performances are a bizarre shadow of what she once was. I can't even concentrate on the music because I'm so distracted by the face of someone I don't recognize. Sounds like Tori, looks like a Muppet.

Does it really matter what she looks like? Fake face or not it's still Tori. Still her unbelievable talent, voice and piano skills. Michael Jackson had HEAPS of surgery but millions of people still love him. If I was famous I'd probably get surgery too. I think she's beautiful nomatter what.

Actually just to let you know her daughter goes to boarding school and I think they have different schedules when they are allowed to be with their families. So maybe you should learn a thing or two and not be so damn presumptuous.
