Easy fix for that. This happens to all mouse and air mouse on Android TV OS. Open the play store and install "Keyboard for Android TV". Change the keyboard in the settings area. Last question, Nick: What's the difference between this, the G20S Pro and the G20BTS Plus? They have both on the SZBOX store, but there's no explanation on how they differ. It even looks like the BTS version has BT 5.0, while your review unit doesn't. Can you clarify?
Yes the difference is Bluetooth. The G20BTS Plus can connect via Bluetooth to your box without the USB dongle. The previous model cannot, it must use the USB dongle. With the G20BTS Plus you have both options USB dongle and Bluetooth. The probably renamed it after my video as not to confuse the models. Read the features carefully before purchase so you get the one with Bluetooth.

I wonder if hooking up the remote to a USB connection, might solve the voice issue. Thus eliminating Bluetooth incompatibility. Strange how every other function on the remote works with Bluetooth.

The remote comes with USB dongle, as well as Bluetooth. I was suggesting that plugging in the dongle to my AM8, might solve the problem

The trick is gamepad keymapping. I need to do that video as soon as I get the time, and therein lies my challenge. But it's on the to-do-list.

So you can't reprogram the volume buttons to send an IR volume signal to your TV, and only have the Android volume controls? Is that right? If so, that is a major oversight to what would have been a perfect product.

It depends on the usage of the remote. If you love voice commands well it will obviously use more power. And keep in mind you need additional power Bluetooth which the other model does not have.

I have tried looking, but do you know if there is a factory reset option?
Yes the reset all options press the okay button and the delete button for a couple of seconds until the LED flashes rapidly.
I have G20s pro bt and the power and mute buttons are loosing configuration after day or two. They need to be recorded again and they work for a short period of time. Any solutions? I have tried resetting the remote.
There is no fix for that. The remote must be getting faulty
You state that it works with Ugoos stb. I have the AM 8 and it does not work. Any advice please?
When I did this video I did not have the AM8. The video was done two years ago this is probably a compatibility issue with the version of the Bluetooth. Maybe it's using Bluetooth 4.0, and the AM8 has a 5.2 so that may be the issue right there.

Does the voice input work over bluetooth? I have one packaged with H96 Max V58, but the feature only works over 2.4GHz, not bluetooth.
I am not quite sure where you got that information but to my knowledge, once you pair the remote via Bluetooth mode the voice feature works also.
@@tvboxstop my own experience, because for me that's what happened. I really want to use Bluetooth to free 1 USB port, but due to that voice input limitation I must use the dongle. I've contacted the seller, though, he asked for the firmware version, which I think could be the problem (on the TV box, not the remote).

No windows drivers for this sorry. That's the purpose of the USB dongle

Yes it is. When you connect via Bluetooth you can power off via Bluetooth, but to power on you need to program it to the stock remotes infrared button.
