I would add two more to the list: 1) Purlovia, preaty much the same as the kapro. 2) The titan, when that thing get's itself stuck somewhere next to your base and starts stamping none stop, it can drive you crazy.
Especially since your mount is stunned too. Like with the microraptor your mount can at least help you, but with the purlovia, you're both kinda just sitting there...

I got a turtle and set it in the middle of my base, then had a swarm of dimorphs on aggressive following it. Ichty gets onto bas ground, gets swarmed, dimorphs return to turtle.
Annoying but only really a threat early game. Once you have a decent mount/s and a base they don't get into they arent any worse than other small predators. Though same goes for compys i guess but they are more common and sneakier

I lost everything to a microraptors they dismount me then troodons tranq me out and I have to wait like 5 mins to die it happens to me every time i play ark
@@kit5236, it dont matter how good you are, you can be a mastermind, a microraptor and utahraptor can and will still dismount you no matter how much you avoid them, if the microraptor cant get you, the utahraptor will
I had tamed an jerboa, and i took it with My griffins claws, and i was too Low on a Lake ,and out of nowhere a kapro comes jumps up to My griffin and takes the poor jerboa and kills it. I had trauma honestly. (Btw Sorry for My English)
I love the Kapros, I remember setting up in the big swamp on Ragnarok and forming a massive army of them, which I then loaded up in a Quetz dropship, and invaded some dude in the Vikings Bay Cave that pillared off the entirety of Vikings Bay. By some miracle My Grand Kapro Empire won, liberated Vikings Bay, and to this day, that remains my fondest memory of this game.

I agree with most, however I put jellyfish above a bary, ik they are slow moving but once they are out of site you forget about them and maybe start collecting pearls or mining oil and they did not forget about you they will follow you to the end of the ocean and pop out right when you forgot about them
Definitely disagree with the raptor almost everything else is on point though. 1. Microraptor 2. Pego 3. Icthy 4. Theri 5. Golem 6. Troodon 7. Bugs 8. Kapro 9. Bary 10. Thyla 11. Arthro May switch up the order if I think about it a bit longer
I would have given raptors an honorable mention, but the number one spot should go to troodons. They pack up, their narco bite stacks quick and they are sure to ruin your night. Whether you are stopping for a drop or watching over a tame, there is nothing more sure to elicit an automatic f-bomb than that unnerving screech/hiss and seeing their glowing eyes coming out of the dark.

Troodons r def in my top 3 hated they’re such a nuisance. Also hate Dilos, they weren’t rly a problem until more recently when I leave something like a PT that’s getting tamed to gather more things for it only to return 5 minutes later and c a Dilo in its spot.
My favorite thing is when I have like 500 narcotics in my inventory and that bloody seagull steals and eats all of them, I personally find the infinitely more frustrating than pegos because with them you can get your items back

Totally agree, but there’s a little thing called the tundra. Just earlier today, I logged onto my single player ARK world, and i started not too long ago. With just me, my wooden hut with spikes and my ptera, I decide to tame a Yutyrannus. I eventually get the classic 4 gateway trap setup, and when I finally get a Yutyrannus all alone, without the aid of its car I buddies, I lure it to the trap. Unfortunately, it was chasing a dire wolf towards the trap, but it was in fear of the Yutyrannus, so I brushed it off. Yuty gets in the trap, and I go to place the last gateway, but WHATDOYAKNOW, the wolf loses its fear and knocks me away. When I finally kill it, the Yutyrannus has broken free, and I had to end its life with my shotgun. Later settled for a rhino, cause i was fed up.
Personally I dont mind those creature that much except for the ichyornis, the fact that it eats your stuff and its just gone makes it sooo annoying, at least you can get you stuff back if a pegomastax steals it. I think they should make it so the ichyornis doesnt eat you stuff or at least make it so it can’t steal stuff like weapons
Agree, the ones who can mess you up while you are established and on a mount are the worst, I got stunned on a rock elemental whilst tip toeing across the river on Rag (stayed on its shoulders though) by a Bary. Cnideria deffo make me change direction in the water, can't believe they can swarm and kill a Mosa ad that's why Basi are my preferred shallow-ish water mount.
The Purlovia is like an advanced microraptor. After they've stunned you, you don't need to wait for others to come eat you. They'll handle that task just fine.
I totally agree with this list! Except you forgot Therizinosaurus, I hate that they randomly attack you for no reason, but I would like them better if they didn’t do that😂
10. - Raptor. Use to be alot worse when they could pounce, but now they cant, so they are only slightly annoying. 9. - Jellyfish - Slow and easy to avoid, but always there when you least expect it and if they touch you, you dead. 8. - Direwolves - Great tames, good puppies, but when you are trying to tame something that is not them, they are usually the thing that are eating it. They make caves extremely more difficult and if you land in the snow, chances are they are there to say hello. 7. - Kaprosuchus. Only reason they are not higher is because they can lay eggs which can be used for kibble and they are fairly easy tames. One of the few PvP dinos that they put in and they are awful almost everywhere you find em. 6. - Insect Swarms - Genesis is great. What is not great about Genesis, is the never ending, constant attacks by these swarms of insects that are only there to annoy you and nothing else. Building a base? Not without a torch you arent. Flying around? Great, dont land. Playing a little dodoball? They wanna play too, but they cheat. 5. - Ichthyornis - Damn rats with wings that constantly steal your berries. If that was all they did, they would still be on this list, but much lower. No, they can also disarm your weapon. Flock you with their friends. And my personal favorite, steal you Cryopods with the dinos inside them. Yea, there is a place these can go and it rhymes with bell. Only reason they arent number one is as a tame they are pretty meh. You can use them to get prime so I mean, thats something. 4. - Purlovia - Decent hps? Check. Hide under ground? Check. Hit pretty hard in the wild? Check. Oh, and they can stun, you cant ride them and they are some of the worst pve base defense you will ever see. Another of the few PvP dinos that they put in and they are awful almost everywhere you find em. 3. - Microraptor - Who doesnt love going into the redwoods or jungle on just about anything and stopping for a second and being knocked off their mount just so that every other carnivore in the area will come and eat you? 2. - Pegomastax - Annoying little shiz. Especially love hunting them at night. 1. - Eels - Now I get it, they used to be absolute game breakers. But they did not change them that much in reality. They removed the stun, great. But now they slow you and reduce your damage. Add in the fact that they still hunt in packs and they are freaking every where and you have yourself one of the dumbest decisions Wildcard has ever made putting them in. Again another one of the pvp dinos that they introduced. These things have little to no value when tamed, cant be ridden, dont lay eggs, dont produce anything, dont harvest anything better than anything else. Sometimes people wanna go out in the ocean on something that is not a whale or squid. Easily deserve the number 1 spot.
I hate running into dire wolves. Every single time I try to just go get something like metal there seems to be 20 direwolves swarming me instantly. I enjoy having them tamed but otherwise they are so annoying.
i was having a great start on my way to volcano to get an argie and resource was totally prepared got my pteranadon food then i landed for one second and micro raptors ended everything
Ok but have you ever tried to tame something in the snow biome then some random pack of wolves comes in and lowers taming effectiveness, a daeodon bites it a little, then a yuty finishes it off and to top it off a purlovia pops out and nibbles you to death?? The snow biome in general needs a spot on the list bro😂😂
Yea pegos are everywhere too. Landed my flyer because I need stamina and what should I find but 4 pegos waiting for me. There goes my parachutes, kibble and ammo
I agree with most of the list, but i would remove bary and compy and add the jellyfish and the insect swarm form genesis, not sure about the ranking but i would add these 2. Also for the bugs i would only put the flying ant, because the ground ones you can outrun easily, the dragonflies are only in the swamp but the flying ants are everywhere and can annoy you even in end-game, with that stamina poison debuff, they are soooo annoying... anyway hope you do more of these, thay are really cool!
I feel like brontos should be on this list, I was just chilling at my base with a few turtles I tamed, one randomly started attacking me, my turtles killed the first one but a second one finished them off.

probably would have put a Basilisk in here somewhere. it’s similar to bloodstalkers with the love-hate as it is a rly op tame, but when ur starting on ab they spawn EVERYWHERE and r such a pain to tame.
Just move around with a pack of raptors in the earlygame. They are good at following, can carry a little bit and most dinos are not really an issue. Also you can tame them with bolas and a club if carefull.
Your right about bugs. I was trying to tame a good tapejara and the munch on my saber when I was protecting it and the saber accidentally hit it and CONTINUED KILLING IT AND IT DIED but the bugs went away.
I hate it when people complain about people using flyers but the reason is because you don’t get bothered up in the sky. You literally can’t go anywhere on a ground mount without getting attacked or dismounted. Because wild card have cramped the map full of goddamn creatures.
First kapro I ever tamed, it grabbed me and was dragging me around and I was just shooting it in the head with tranq darts. Finally it walked back up on land and passed out, and after that it was mine I would like to add the dimetrodon, because when you hit one even by accident it aggros every other dimet within a mile radius
I still remember when I got knocked off my mount by the thyla I wanted to tame, a Pego came and stole my 13 pieces of extraordinary kibble and proceeded to eat it before I could kill him.
the next top # video should contain categories of specific creatures, Example: stunning creatures, torpour inflicting creatures, dismounting creatures. Also why not show off what they do (Example, This video, Top 10 most player hated dinos) , have another person as an assistant and have the pego steal or micro-raptor stun them off a mount etc...
I was watching someone’s video where they were touring a really neat base and I am trying to find it again. There are just a few of you that I subscribe/watch on RUclips concerning ARK- Ragnarok but I don’t know which one posted it and was hoping you may know it or of it. The character was a female wearing a witch hat. Her base was at the ruin cliffs (but not at) the torture chamber area on Ragnarok I believe. She had a cute house, some beer barrels and had a marketplace outside also used the Eco Garden mod. By chance do you know what I’m talking about? If not sorry to bother…Love your builds/videos. Good start but personally my top 10(ish) is: 1) Purlovia - and you thought the below was bad! 99% of the time you can't see the bastards coming! 2) Microraptor - too fast 3) Pegomastix - the fact that they steal cryopods - wtf WC 4) Itchyornis - demon pelican from hell! 5) Titano soldier (the stupid one which follows you for miles and can fly) 6) Thylacoleo - I love and fucking hate this creature - they pounce you and give you a real life heart attack at the same time 7) Angler fish - the bite and run mechanic seriously pisses me off 8) Compy - annoying in the wild, useless to tame 9) Dilophosaur - seriously hard to see and ruin countless tames because they come outta nowhere 10) Titanosaur - Oh you built I really nice base with 15 high walls around it - this looks like a place I'd like to live! 11) Kapro - again another cardiac arrest inducer 12) Piranha - oh that looks like a massive leg in the smallest pool of water! Lemme just have a nibble - they completely ignore the size dynamic of the game and attack anything which stands in water! 13) Seeker - just no, get off my light you annoying winged octopus! 14) The swarm - oh you don't have a torch, well good luck I guess 15) Onyc - useless contagious, ugly, rat birds 16) Arthropluera - oh nice armour, but I'd love to know what you look like with it off, ark's pervert! 17) Plesiosaur - another contender for Ark's ugly list and also aggro from miles off and hit like a tank Ok so I may have got a little carried away, anyway thanks for coming to my TED talk! There's a special place in hell reserved for these creatures and whatever Ark dev came up with them!
I think raptors have been updated so they don't pounce at all in the wild anymore, though I don't know if that's correct or not. I find the issue with bugs is that the Titanomyrna attack you regardless of what you're riding, to the point that it's more absurd than annoying sometimes. And Meganeura (which are technically Griffinflies and one of the creatures Ark undersized) are attracted to your latest kill, so especially for early game when you're trying to gather hide and meat and they show up to eat everything and then start eating you, it's annoying. Two creatures on my list are jellyfish and eel, jellies because they follow you from so far away and there's no easy way to deal with them, and eels because the electric boogaloo is a pain and they're super squiggly.

ichyornis are the worst....technically you can get your stuff back, but you gotta kill the ichy really fast

The Purlovia is like an advanced microraptor. After they've stunned you, you don't need to wait for others to come eat you. They'll handle that task just fine.
I hate troodons, mostly because of all the same reasons as you hate the compy. But I swear those things have like 1000 health, THEY WILL NOT DIE!
The peggo is still #1 on my list of most hated dinos
I totally agree with this list! Except you forgot Therizinosaurus, I hate that they randomly attack you for no reason, but I would like them better if they didn’t do that😂
10. - Raptor. Use to be alot worse when they could pounce, but now they cant, so they are only slightly annoying.
9. - Jellyfish - Slow and easy to avoid, but always there when you least expect it and if they touch you, you dead.
8. - Direwolves - Great tames, good puppies, but when you are trying to tame something that is not them, they are usually the thing that are eating it. They make caves extremely more difficult and if you land in the snow, chances are they are there to say hello.
7. - Kaprosuchus. Only reason they are not higher is because they can lay eggs which can be used for kibble and they are fairly easy tames. One of the few PvP dinos that they put in and they are awful almost everywhere you find em.
6. - Insect Swarms - Genesis is great. What is not great about Genesis, is the never ending, constant attacks by these swarms of insects that are only there to annoy you and nothing else. Building a base? Not without a torch you arent. Flying around? Great, dont land. Playing a little dodoball? They wanna play too, but they cheat.
5. - Ichthyornis - Damn rats with wings that constantly steal your berries. If that was all they did, they would still be on this list, but much lower. No, they can also disarm your weapon. Flock you with their friends. And my personal favorite, steal you Cryopods with the dinos inside them. Yea, there is a place these can go and it rhymes with bell. Only reason they arent number one is as a tame they are pretty meh. You can use them to get prime so I mean, thats something.
4. - Purlovia - Decent hps? Check. Hide under ground? Check. Hit pretty hard in the wild? Check. Oh, and they can stun, you cant ride them and they are some of the worst pve base defense you will ever see. Another of the few PvP dinos that they put in and they are awful almost everywhere you find em.
3. - Microraptor - Who doesnt love going into the redwoods or jungle on just about anything and stopping for a second and being knocked off their mount just so that every other carnivore in the area will come and eat you?
2. - Pegomastax - Annoying little shiz. Especially love hunting them at night.
1. - Eels - Now I get it, they used to be absolute game breakers. But they did not change them that much in reality. They removed the stun, great. But now they slow you and reduce your damage. Add in the fact that they still hunt in packs and they are freaking every where and you have yourself one of the dumbest decisions Wildcard has ever made putting them in. Again another one of the pvp dinos that they introduced. These things have little to no value when tamed, cant be ridden, dont lay eggs, dont produce anything, dont harvest anything better than anything else. Sometimes people wanna go out in the ocean on something that is not a whale or squid. Easily deserve the number 1 spot.
I hate running into dire wolves. Every single time I try to just go get something like metal there seems to be 20 direwolves swarming me instantly. I enjoy having them tamed but otherwise they are so annoying.

Ok but have you ever tried to tame something in the snow biome then some random pack of wolves comes in and lowers taming effectiveness, a daeodon bites it a little, then a yuty finishes it off and to top it off a purlovia pops out and nibbles you to death?? The snow biome in general needs a spot on the list bro😂😂

I agree with most of the list, but i would remove bary and compy and add the jellyfish and the insect swarm form genesis, not sure about the ranking but i would add these 2. Also for the bugs i would only put the flying ant, because the ground ones you can outrun easily, the dragonflies are only in the swamp but the flying ants are everywhere and can annoy you even in end-game, with that stamina poison debuff, they are soooo annoying... anyway hope you do more of these, thay are really cool!

I feel like brontos should be on this list, I was just chilling at my base with a few turtles I tamed, one randomly started attacking me, my turtles killed the first one but a second one finished them off.
Thylacoleo is annoying as when you are not expecting it they pounce and than your flier land lake 100 years away

probably would have put a Basilisk in here somewhere. it’s similar to bloodstalkers with the love-hate as it is a rly op tame, but when ur starting on ab they spawn EVERYWHERE and r such a pain to tame.

Just move around with a pack of raptors in the earlygame. They are good at following, can carry a little bit and most dinos are not really an issue.
Also you can tame them with bolas and a club if carefull.
Your right about bugs. I was trying to tame a good tapejara and the munch on my saber when I was protecting it and the saber accidentally hit it and CONTINUED KILLING IT AND IT DIED but the bugs went away.

I hate it when people complain about people using flyers but the reason is because you don’t get bothered up in the sky. You literally can’t go anywhere on a ground mount without getting attacked or dismounted. Because wild card have cramped the map full of goddamn creatures.
First kapro I ever tamed, it grabbed me and was dragging me around and I was just shooting it in the head with tranq darts. Finally it walked back up on land and passed out, and after that it was mine
I would like to add the dimetrodon, because when you hit one even by accident it aggros every other dimet within a mile radius
I still remember when I got knocked off my mount by the thyla I wanted to tame, a Pego came and stole my 13 pieces of extraordinary kibble and proceeded to eat it before I could kill him.

I was watching someone’s video where they were touring a really neat base and I am trying to find it again. There are just a few of you that I subscribe/watch on RUclips concerning ARK- Ragnarok but I don’t know which one posted it and was hoping you may know it or of it. The character was a female wearing a witch hat. Her base was at the ruin cliffs (but not at) the torture chamber area on Ragnarok I believe. She had a cute house, some beer barrels and had a marketplace outside also used the Eco Garden mod. By chance do you know what I’m talking about? If not sorry to bother…Love your builds/videos. Good start but personally my top 10(ish) is:
1) Purlovia - and you thought the below was bad! 99% of the time you can't see the bastards coming!
2) Microraptor - too fast
3) Pegomastix - the fact that they steal cryopods - wtf WC
4) Itchyornis - demon pelican from hell!
5) Titano soldier (the stupid one which follows you for miles and can fly)
6) Thylacoleo - I love and fucking hate this creature - they pounce you and give you a real life heart attack at the same time
7) Angler fish - the bite and run mechanic seriously pisses me off
8) Compy - annoying in the wild, useless to tame
9) Dilophosaur - seriously hard to see and ruin countless tames because they come outta nowhere
10) Titanosaur - Oh you built I really nice base with 15 high walls around it - this looks like a place I'd like to live!
11) Kapro - again another cardiac arrest inducer
12) Piranha - oh that looks like a massive leg in the smallest pool of water! Lemme just have a nibble - they completely ignore the size dynamic of the game and attack anything which stands in water!
13) Seeker - just no, get off my light you annoying winged octopus!
14) The swarm - oh you don't have a torch, well good luck I guess
15) Onyc - useless contagious, ugly, rat birds
16) Arthropluera - oh nice armour, but I'd love to know what you look like with it off, ark's pervert!
17) Plesiosaur - another contender for Ark's ugly list and also aggro from miles off and hit like a tank

I think raptors have been updated so they don't pounce at all in the wild anymore, though I don't know if that's correct or not. I find the issue with bugs is that the Titanomyrna attack you regardless of what you're riding, to the point that it's more absurd than annoying sometimes. And Meganeura (which are technically Griffinflies and one of the creatures Ark undersized) are attracted to your latest kill, so especially for early game when you're trying to gather hide and meat and they show up to eat everything and then start eating you, it's annoying. Two creatures on my list are jellyfish and eel, jellies because they follow you from so far away and there's no easy way to deal with them, and eels because the electric boogaloo is a pain and they're super squiggly.
