This breakdown of the fight really changed my form of seeing the fight. I was really dissapointed with this fight because of how short it was but thanks to the video I understanded. Btw:I wonder if the Giga is going to take Rexy's throne as the king.
I think that: As the T-Rex was getting swung across the ditch, the Giga jerked its head the other way. This mean that the Rex’s body and head and moving in opposite directions, which cause it’s neck to snap.
Yea, its pretty clear, also by the audio of the actual scene, that the giga simply snapped the rex neck by jerking its jaws instead of slitting the throat; Rexy was already dying before falling down as her body was already limp while still on the edge. A lot of peoples dosen't realize that the more the giga owned Rexy here THE BETTER it is in the long run, as we know for sure there will be a rematch that rexy will inevitably win, and if that rematch is fair (no outside help/disadvantages) show them to be *evenly matched* and with a final rex victory, then we will have proof that giant theropod fights in jp (pretty much like in real life to boot) are *a coin toss between equals* instead of having Giga and Spiny as superior to the rex, wich is the final cure for the whole jp3 controversy.
I love the giga and I am happy it’s getting some spotlight in a movie. In my opinion they should of had a different big Carnivores for each movie which is why I liked the Jurassic Park 3 cause they game the spotlight to some else. Overall I can’t wait to see the carnage the giga causes in the movie
I love how it takes T-rex, Velociraptor, and mosasaurs ambush to defeat it. It's like a person(Indominus Rex) fighting against other person(T-rex) while being bitten by bunch bullet ant's on his back(velociraptor, is not deal damage significantly but still hurt) then ambushed by a crocodile(Mosasaurus)
Yeah, and Rexy is also 50% accurate, T rex in JP universe weight's around 18 tons, but irl it is said by the scientific community that it weight up to 9.5 tons
There are a few theories I came up with this scene: 1. Rexy possessing hair-like feather adds up to the dinosaur restoration JP concept, where they modified the genomes of the dinosaurs and changed them entirely, either physically or behavior. 2. They likely made the Giganotosaurus possess spikes to separate itself from the T Rex. 3. I theorize that the Giga accidentally migrated to the area T Rex live in. It’s likely T Rex failed because the latter wasn’t familiar seeing another large theropod in its territory.
According to scientists that have a theory that because of the T-Rexes massive size and bulky muscular build that it would have been an intimidation display before it became an actual fight and state that no other large predators were anywhere as aggressive as the Tyrannosaurus Rex, including the Giganotosaurus. All predators then and now do not wish to fight out of risk of death or serious injury, but judging from scientific evidence that T-Rex fought and killed others of it's kind makes it easily one of the most brutal and threatening dinosaurs of all time. So as cool as an actual fight would, there would just be a lot of roaring, some Moch charges from the Rex and the Giga backing down.
6:18 The Rex had it's neck snapped, you could hear it at that moment right before it pans to it falling. The body went limp completely after the snap of the neck.
it didnt snap its neck, the crack was it falling over cus the rex is still moving as its falling it may have died to breaking something or crushing something internal, plus giga did hold it by the neck while throwing it wich gives evidence that the rex's throught may have been in half
@@LilRick96 nah im looking at every frame between 6:18 and 6:19 and it looks like giga pulled rex's head off to the back right, let go, then headbutted the rex's torso into the ditch, making the rex do a sort of spin motion then the rex died from its throught either being split open or the giga punctured the internal organs
@@raptorattack9876 You have to watch it from the original scene in action. Because this video doesn't convey what Im saying. In that moment, The Giga shook the neck of the Rex neck in a up a down motion and you can literally hear the Pop and Snap of it, it was loud. Watch the body of the Rex, didn't even make anymore noise, his head and arms and legs went completely down and limp while being dragged off screen THEN pushed off into the ditch. A Rex is not going to die immediately from being split open and falling with internal injury.
Assuming gigas were still alive in the Rex's time, they could've possibly met. For example, jaguars live in south America while cougars live in the north, yet the two apex predators are known to occasionally cross paths. It's certainly more plausible for the rex and giga to have met than the rex and spino
@@Bullboy_Adventures Tyrannosaurus lived 30 million years later than Giganotosaurus, that would be even more unlikely than you meeting an australopithecus. Besides, during the Mesozoic North and South America were separate continents
@@artieziff345 in that case, the only way for this to make sense is that it's simply not a giga, but another dinosaur that looks similar to it. And it went undiscovered by paleontologists. Which kinda makes sense due to most of the prehistoric wildlife being undiscovered and possibly lost forever. How two giant carnivores lived in the same continent together is a different story
Thank you! I almost never see anybody talks or theorizes about the story or how the film would end. Kinda gives me an impression that nobody cares as long as there's a dino duel in it 😔
@@aryshandono3249 Yea, of course if people just want Dinosaurs, good for them but I would like a good story as well, the quality of the first one is largely because it had a great story with great characters, this has sadly been forgotten over the years, the only other movie I like in the franchise is the second one, even though it’s got its issues it’s still a film with likeable characters, depth and sences filled with tension and suspense that even rival the first one.
@@ukrainianbloke9676 if they just want dinosaurs there are many movies about it, but they are never viewed as highly as Jurassic series, so they have to care about the story as well right? Or is it because the dinosaurs look good than most other dinosaur feature films that it gets a pass? do you think they would still like the movie as long as it has dinosaur mayhem in it even if the writing is poor or mediocre at best?
@@aryshandono3249 Personally I think most audience members don't care about a story, just look at jwfk, most audience members still enjoyed that one, despite the films numerous issues. The reason the current Jurassic series is still held in higher regard than other dinosaur movies is for three reasons. The new Jurassic park films have great CGI, which separates them from the cheap straight to dvd dinosaur movies like, "jurassic hunter" among many others. The second is that the first film is still a house hold name, its quality helps prop the other ones up in my opinion, when someone hears a new JURASSIC PARK movies out, they will go and see it because they remember how good the first one was, what I'm trying to say is the name "Jurassic park" still holds a lot of value in peoples minds, so when a new one comes out (Regardless of its own quality) they would properly go and see it. The third reason is why people see these movies in the first place, most people just want to see the trex or blue do something, which is perfectly fine, good for them, but this standard of "only wanting to see the trex and blue do something cool for 10 minutes" in my honest opinion makes studios get lazy and stop caring about making a genuinely good film. Of course that's just my opinion, but that's what you wanted, and that's what you got. Have a good one.
@@ukrainianbloke9676 you bring quite a solid point, and I agree with you here. But since film is also a work of art and supposedly enjoyable for everyone, I guess they have rights to go see the film with however they intent to. @@ScrammyDeeds rex is more bigger in jp/w too then in real life, and gigas was bigger then rexes. T-rex is tenth biggest land predator that lived, and Giga is third biggest predator that lived
My personal opinion is that fights between Therapods of this size and strength come down to who is able to bite and break the other's neck first given their massive bite force. I think Giga simply got it's jaws around the Rex's throat before Rex did, and so it won the fight. Both of them have absurd jaw strength and I can see a fight between the two going either way depending on who get's their jaws around the other's throat first.
@@nanuqo2006 Some, like giga, mapusaurus, and tyrannotitan, were similar to each other because they lived in South America, and were part of giganotosaurini, while carcharodontosaurus and acrocanthosaurus, were different
How exactly did the Giganotosaurus kill the T-rex" a very very very good question when you consider that they lived at different times (about 30 million years difference)
each battle between an apex is usually a 50/50. Whoever gets the first bite gets the kill, because the enemy is already weakened before it can attack. Everybody is hating over accuracy
Nah giga cannot break through Trex's chonky neck. Both would totally avoid the fight tho. Giga will die on spot and trex would die after few days of the lethal bite it had on its neck by giga.
What makes me mad is that everyone loves the t-rex. But nobody understands why they are so cool. I'm glad that these guys describe how op they are Edit: I am not saying that t rex is my favorite dinosaur, far from it, I'm just saying that so many people love the t rex, but I don't know why. It is an extremely cool dinosaur but nobody ever knows why.
I do not like Dominion's Giga design. It looks way more like a Acrocanthosaurus. Its almost like it was originally supposed to be and designed to be a Acrocanthosaurus, but Universal decided last minute they wanted a Giga instead of a Acro but it was already too late to change the design. Edit: spelling mistakes
@Jurassic Hero nah, the Baryonyx thing is another different case. It looks fine and cooler than the accurate version. While Giga in this movie looks twisted up in my opinion.
@Jurassic Hero i never said it was terrible, all im saying is that it looks nothing like a Giganotosaurus. All the other dinosaurs in this franchise look atleast recognizable. You can immediatly tell what they are from the way they look. You can't do that with this Giga, cause it looks nothing like a Giga. When I first saw it I thought it was a Acro or a Charcara. But not a giga.
@@aliakbarmaliki3156 100% agree. I have no problem with the JW baryonyx, cause you can still tell what it is, just by looking at it. You cant do that with this 'Giga'. It looks too mixed and matched to be able to tell what it is. I showed it to some of my friends, and none of them could tell it was a giga. They all thought it was a acro or charcara
Thank you for the explanation I was still unsure how exactly the T-rex died. If it hit it's head on a rock during the fall killing it. I'm personally not very keen on the design of the Giganotosaurus in Jurassic world dominion but I suppose at least the species is now in the franchise.
I just want to point out that an actual Giganotosaurus would have had to turn its head a lot more in this fight and that definitely would have put it at a huge disadvantage with a tyrannosaur. The Giga, like most carcharids, didn't have forward facing vision. It's ability to see would have been like a lizard constantly cooking it's head to the sides to see something directly infront of it. A Rex is more like an eagle or a crocodile. Those eyes are perfectly positioned to see what's right infront of it without any limitations. I feel like a rex lunging at a giga would play out way differently. The rex would have had a few seconds ahead of the giga. But, of course, that's just my 2 cents worth 😉
I would also add to the maneuver when the Rex’s foot slipped while being held by Zeb it’s own weight ended up helping in breaking its own neck once Ancestor Rexy lost her footing. Especially if you notice the last moment before Ancestor Rexy fell down her head went downwards as she slipped while Zeb still held her neck in place, possible breakage by weight displacement along side blood loss.
The thick tail sure but the small sail on the giga is actually more on the accurate side of things... if you looked into iguanas and chameleons for example, the skeletons share similarities with the skeletal spine ridges of the giga. And in the iguana and chameleon, these boney processes, once covered in keratin and flesh, produce a small sail like appearance
@Goji Center The T-Rex getting it's throat slit was the last nail in the coffin because I think it's neck got broken as the first nail. The reason I think that is because: #1. The bone cracking sound is there before the Rex & Giga go out of shot. #2. The Giga isn't accurate obviously, but that's a factor that probably contributed more when it came to the Giga's jaws doing even more dirty work.
I'm such a big fan of both the t-rex and the giga, can't wait to see jurassic world dominion. Even if rexy remembers the giga that killed her she'll probably has other abilities under her sleeve. But yes great video love your content!
Yeah it's possible but we don't know the true answer if it isn't prehistoric version of rexy or some random tyrannosaurus, but we're gonna have to wait to see the flim to find out 😉
Universal: aight we need to make the design for the ancient rex, bring me your ideas "Add lips" "Make it bulkier" "Just put feathers on it" Universal: Your hired
Tbh, I think Colin Trevorrow purposely made the scene this way, even though it's not supposed to be possible because during the maastrichtian epoch of the late cretaceous, there were no more Gigas around, only so the T-Rex clone from the present time has a reason to decimate the cloned Giga. That's pretty much it.
In real life version, yes But this is the famous inaccurate dinosaur movie. In real version Velociraptor was actually in half size and probably struggling to kill human in 1vs1, T-rex is bit smaller maybe few feet shorter and it had crushing jaw, Spinosaurus is giant platypus instead oversized carnivore, Giganotosaurus is taller than real T-rex while it's head was smaller.
@@aeroforta5844 Wait,ur calling the JP version of Spino oversized? U do realize its size got nerfed and real life Spinos were probably even bigger right?
I honestly think that the T-Rex was overrated and when people got mad about the T-Rex getting killed, they were being biased that something killed their favorite dino and cried like babies, but I totally agree that the gigachadasaurus should have lost because the JP team didn’t care what the realistic version of the giga was.
How is Trex overrated? It has many advantages over most of the big theropods. -More muscular body -highest bite force -better eyesight -bigger brain -heavier -less vulnerability (strong muscles around neck) basically the alpha amongst the big theropods.

The Giganotosaurus used the Neck-breaker Spino in the Tyrannosaurus, i think this Cretaceous Rexy didn´t had so much experience, but well, just wait to see the movie
Don't know man, according to terrain Trex should have the edge here it's the opposite. The main advantage of having binocular vision is depth perception. Giga didn't have that so here Giga able to see the steep slope so easily doesn't fit well. For giga the slope should have been like normal ground and instead of avoiding it Giga should have felt in it
You are 100 percent right but because it’s Jp there gonna pull up the oh nooo the new big scary theropod is so strong and scary it killed the trex even tho in irl it will lose also binocular vision aside Rex was much more bulkyer muscular and was better suited for battle then other theropod they would often kill each other both spino and giga would lose against trex

Let’s not forget Giga’s head was more narrow and designed better for vertical pressure, not horizontal thrashing back and forth type of movements. Not sure how it could have yanked a full sized Rex around like that, on top of the oversized issue. But clearly this movie doesn’t care about accuracy let alone showing an ounce of respect to the Rex JP3 pt. 2
@IChaseIRUclips difference here being that an ankylosaur and triceratops were both real and evolved to defend themselves against a Rex. The JP spino and giga might as well be breathing fire, their real life counterparts can’t hold a candle to the level of predator Rex was. Power, size, eyesight, smell, intelligence, etc. Rex was superior in all of these categories, no other giant theropod comes close and as of 2021, it is scientific fact not opinion. Deal with it
For two future Battle Analysis Two Jurassic Park/World T.Rex killers: Giganotosaurus Vs. Spinosaurus Two Dinosaurs designed to be better than the T.Rex: Giganotosaurus Vs. Indominus Rex ( maybe Giga Vs. I.Rex may happen after JW: Dominion comes out and after seeing how the Giga fights Rexy and compare the difference to how the I.Rex fought Rexy )
@amin2021ggッ i said rexy could kill another giga because I don't think they would show off a new dinosaur like the giga without it appearing later in the film.
There is a big problem. The t-rex has binocular vision, the giga does not. That means that the t-rex has the perception of space, he can dodge and hit much easier than the giga. An absolutely devastating weapon in a fight.
@Evan Diwakar I know. Like the T-Rex in JP3 when it fight the Spino, it's still a juvenile. So it would make sense that Rexy died in Prehistoric Times. But this time in 65 Million Years later, it will never happen again! Our Rexy today is now more experience in the world filled with humans and the Giga doesn't know about this so the chance of Rexy to win is 100%!
I think new adult rexy should win , she has just as if not more experienced than the Giga now she’s boxed the i rex , tossed baryonx’s dozens of meters away , one shotted a carnotauru twice , has been the alpha of isla nublar how long?? Yeah rexy should win

Yeah, and Rexy is also 50% accurate, T rex in JP universe weight's around 18 tons, but irl it is said by the scientific community that it weight up to 9.5 tons
@@boppin3898 more like 50 to 60% accurate
There are a few theories I came up with this scene:
So as cool as an actual fight would, there would just be a lot of roaring, some Moch charges from the Rex and the Giga backing down.

it didnt snap its neck, the crack was it falling over cus the rex is still moving as its falling it may have died to breaking something or crushing something internal, plus giga did hold it by the neck while throwing it wich gives evidence that the rex's throught may have been in half

@@raptorattack9876 You have to watch it from the original scene in action. Because this video doesn't convey what Im saying. Well Giga and T-Rex lived in a different times, there is no possibility they will meet each other.
Also different place
Assuming gigas were still alive in the Rex's time, they could've possibly met. For example, jaguars live in south America while cougars live in the north, yet the two apex predators are known to occasionally cross paths. It's certainly more plausible for the rex and giga to have met than the rex and spino
That’s how movie logic works
@@Bullboy_Adventures Tyrannosaurus lived 30 million years later than Giganotosaurus, that would be even more unlikely than you meeting an australopithecus. Besides, during the Mesozoic North and South America were separate continents
@@artieziff345 in that case, the only way for this to make sense is that it's simply not a giga, but another dinosaur that looks similar to it. And it went undiscovered by paleontologists. @@ukrainianbloke9676 if they just want dinosaurs there are many movies about it, but they are never viewed as highly as Jurassic series, so they have to care about the story as well right? Or is it because the dinosaurs look good than most other dinosaur feature films that it gets a pass?

@@ukrainianbloke9676 you bring quite a solid point, and I agree with you here. But since film is also a work of art and supposedly enjoyable for everyone, I guess they have rights to go see the film with however they intent to. Im glad they will, fuck giving Rexy invicibility, i like T.rex as a dino but it has been 2 movies of this plot armor
T-Rex Jaws: Crushing
Giga Jaws: Slicing
Hammer vs Knife
Simple as that you guys decide
The thick tail sure but the small sail on the giga is actually more on the accurate side of things... if you looked into iguanas and chameleons for example, the skeletons share similarities with the skeletal spine ridges of the giga. And in the iguana and chameleon, these boney processes, once covered in keratin and flesh, produce a small sail like appearance
Rex didn’t die, I watched the movie today, Rex worked with therozinosaurus and killed gigantosaurus
Yep I also watched movie yesterday, and t rex won
that rex was actually not rexy Rexy actually killed the giga with its partner
@Goji Center The T-Rex getting it's throat slit was the last nail in the coffin because I think it's neck got broken as the first nail. The reason I think that is because: #1. The bone cracking sound is there before the Rex & Giga go out of shot. #2. The Giga isn't accurate obviously, but that's a factor that probably contributed more when it came to the Giga's jaws doing even more dirty work.
The Dinos you should could of 2 of these possibilities
1: someone modified the genetics
2. They changed over the time

7:42 Oh, she will. Trust me, that Giga is going down.
True. Rexy Is more skilled she taked on The Indominus rex Well Even thought she needed help She did the most of it.
Yup she will
Not really. It's going to be a modern Giganotosaurus, not "that" Giga.
Here’s my thought, I feel like the tyrannosaurus in the prologue was at an old age and wasn’t as strong as younger tyrannosaurs. The strength of the poor fella didn’t stand a chance against a much young gigantosaurus. Just a thought
That was rexy in its prime this rexy of this day is old
Nah the giga is some weird mutated giga, it's supposed to have been extinct for like 30 million years and be con completely different continents.
@@veiihe666 Yeah it's look like hybrid of giga and a carcharodontosaur and bigger
Wrong. Giga won because he had the high ground
@@veiihe666 I like to imagine to myself that it fled towards the end of its time period and got itself stuck in ice. Then it woke up and explored its environment, maybe resulting in it’s different appearance. But that’s kinda a stretch.
I am a Giganotosaurus and a T Rex fanboy
Bro this dude can make a worm vs worm interesting like damn this is awesome
