    Nutritional yeast is so good for you & has a cheesy flavour which can be substituted for cheese as it does no harm 🥰🌱🐾

    Can you please give us the recipe for the one you use the whole chickpeas thanks and can I skip the natural-yeast?

      Hi, exactly the same recipe but instead of flour use cooked chickpea, (same weight) you will have to strain the chickpeas and leave to semi dry for about an hour else mix will be too wet and difficult to roll. No water required as the cooked chickpea will be enough and yes if you don't want the yeast just leave it out. Hope that helps

      Another way if you not worried about the shape is add 100ml watr and put everything in blender to make it look more like pancake mix (that kind of consistency) then pour a thin layer on a non stick tray and bake 180 for 25 mins (ish) look just befor case its already going brown. can sort of see what I mean on the end of the 5 lentil recipe video, that will show how it looks, more like crisps instead of tortilla shape

    I like to roll into little balls, flatten them into disks in a tortilla press, then score them into sixths.

    • @foxsweightwatcherkitchen854
      @foxsweightwatcherkitchen854  10 месяцев назад

      good idea. i tried that in the begining too but they still came out too thick for me so used a rolling pin to get them even flatter. Might go back to the tortilla press again for speed tho as now instead of using parchment paper to press I cut up a plastic pastry mat so that might make them thinner so thanks for the reminder

    Coconut oil has an exceptionally high level of saturated fat. This means it will significantly add to your cholesterol and as such is unhealthy. Olive oil would be much healthier.

    • @foxsweightwatcherkitchen854
      @foxsweightwatcherkitchen854  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for the comment...I do sometimes mix it up with olive oil and I agree that coconut oil is heavy on the saturated fat but I let it slide cos there's not too much of it....most of my other cooking recipes are with olive oil or rapseed oil(mostly Indian dishes)

      Saturated fats only affect cholesterol when eaten with refined carbs or sugar, or hfc's. The cholesterol gets damaged by sugars and no longer fits the recectors in the liver, so can't be removed from your blood, 70% of my diet is fats half of which are saturated, my cholesterol levels are normal because I use a keto low carb diet.
