Yes, and did you notice that for Hunter, Tiffany and Venus, they almost got the immunity necklace !!! They all came second in the challenge. God that must be frustrating.
I yelled the exact same way as Trey when Venus dropped the ball at the end! Haha. Normally I don't get that into the challenges, but I was so into this one!
great episode as always boys I think Maria specifically didn't want to pick Liz because she's a parent coach and sees Liz as a spoiled child The idea of rewarding someone who just threw a next level temper tantrum is against every fiber in her body We see her use those parent coaching skills to talk to Liz and make her feel included, heard, and important, which essentially nullifies her pizza feelings She's used these skills constantly throughout the season, my favorite being getting Jelinsky to fold harder than anyone I've ever seen simply by hitting him with the classic "I'll give you one more chance to tell me the truth"
Glad skeets is back. Hosts of podcasts are underated, they keep the show going smoothly and add structure to the format and without them its chaos and the pod goes off the rails on tangents.
11:01 I am so baffled whenever I see people saying Maria is playing on the same level as Charlie. From what I’ve seen just on the same level as the rest of the cast, but her working relationship with Charlie makes her look better than she actually is.
Maybe not as good as Charlie but she’s definitely better than most of the cast. I mean since the beginning she has made the right relationships and she’s pulled off a couple big moves (using her extra vote to blindside jem, driving the tiff blindside)
Did you guys notice that for Hunter, Tiffany and Venus, they almost got the immunity necklace !!! They all came second in the challenge. God that must be frustrating.
I think the perception of Charlie on the island is different than the viewing audience. I actually think this ep shows that they don't take him seriously enough and see him as too passive and lacking resume moves. It's going to be like a Xander all over again (with Charlie playing a much better game). Each season has their own meta and this season they respect more overt plays and singular credit.
Less likely to win - Q and Maria. Is taking them out constituted as a resume move? Charlie is the front runner imo. Finding the idol and or immunity is the only way I see Maria or Q sticking around. Who turns on who?
Its straight up impossible to defend Marias pizza decision. She made it all about the people who need it the most. She then chose Ben which is fine. After all there's a reason LIZ of all people was sharing rice with him. But instead of making the second option a choice between Liz and Venus she procrastinated for 10 MINUTES and then gave Q a shot. That's ridiculous just say you want Ben to get food because he is wiped out and Q because he took you last time.
I hope NoBuffs never goes away u guys gotta know how much we love this pod
I co-sign this wholeheartedly.
3 straight eliminations with an idol in the pocket is wild.

Charlie is playing a hell of a game. Social, Strategic, and Physical
And somehow none of them see him as a threat 🤦🏾♂️😂
This entire cast needs someone to remind them that more than one person can have the same idea. It's kind of a foundational concept of human society.
Best survivor recap podcast, most definitely!!!
this podcast is my Applebee's. I love it so much I'd freak out on an island if I couldn't have it.
I think they'll get letters from home next week, that's why Maria was crying in that preview.
Best Survivor Podcast.. You guys are the Dream Team..

Funniest moment of the episode for me was when Q said he ate 23 slices of pizza, the way he said it and his facial expression had be rolling. ..
I started watching survivor bc I wanted to listen to this pod last year and now it’s ritual on Wednesdays for me and family. Love you guys 🤙
As to the preview, I think it's the family visit (or maybe letters) and Maria lost it and didn't get picked.
I cant belive it toke me this long to discover this channel . this is great

This is the first time I’ve looked up what they look like after listening for the past couple of years and my brain is broken 😅😅

You know how I would’ve made the choice for a pizza party? Alphabet game. Let Q really shine.
People are so scared to play idols now we gotta treat it like a Coach’s challenge LOL If you play it successfully you get another one to use 😂😂
Charlie is great I was hoping Venus was on a new path
Why does EVERY podcast think Randen had an idol? He didn't he had a Beware Advantage
Enough of these superfans, they can’t see the forest through the trees.
22:39 What subliminal message just flashed across the screen?
Is this great gameplay by players left or terrible gameplay by players out with idols in pocket. 4 now.
The latter
