    Spencer is still dreamy. I don’t know exactly what he said online a few years ago that has ppl hating him so much now, but I can’t not feel something for him. Rarely seen someone whose vulnerability is so palpable despite their every effort to obscure it. It’s endearing and human.

    The first time I heard Spencer speak after going through big changes sparked by survivor my reaction was “oh that’s cool, but you should go back on survivor and play that character again”
    Clearly I did not understand what he was going through, I was just someone who likes the character Spencer portrayed on Survivor. Now looking at Spencer I’m much more impressed with the changes he made, the changes that I glossed over first time around.
    I like survivor for the human element, and I know it’s TV, but I wish people were more authentic. Counter point to what Spencer was saying, how do we know if people are being authentic or not? I can think of a bunch of examples of people that seem like characters but also seem authentic. One that comes to mind is Carolyn

      @@thezealofman if you don’t mind me asking, there is a lot of references to masculine energy, feminine energy, and a lot of other concepts that are being discussed that Joe Shmoe wouldn’t be familiar with. Are you and Spencer subscribing to any particular philosophies or theories that would explain?

    • @thezealofman
      @thezealofman  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@bmillz6243 Thanks for your question. I think that is a very broad topic to unpack so I will try to be succinct. When it specifically comes to concepts like masculine and feminine energies, m any cultures for millennia have had their own interpretations on what these things mean. Masculine and Feminine energies are just one of the many facets that make up the entirety of the human experience. Anyone that is on the "Path To Awakening" will inevitably find models and structures other smart people have come up with to better interpret their experiences. So to the affect of particular philosophies and theories that Reiman (Spencer) and I subscribe to, we subscribe to many of them but some of them serve someone better at certain parts of their internal evolution. I would say both of our world views are syncretic borrowing from dozens of models for understanding different facets of life. I hope this was clear.
