Just got out of a horrible narcissist relationship, she has all the traits, I had no idea why my mind was in a hamster wheel and I was always stressed and on eggshells.

I would like to thank you in particular for your framing. I came to this video expecting the usual "run away from her if she has daddy issues!" "Oh she has a tatto, that is a NO dude!" But your take on the mental health stuff was really uplifting to me, because I have dealt with a good deal of mental health issues, and I grew up with abusive parents, so I have a lot of respect for people who, through no fault on their own, go through this, but seek healing and work to get better. So that you didn't immediatly dismiss them/us was nice! I am here because I went through a relationship that utterly destroyed my trust in women (as intimate partners) and in my ability to discern. It has taken three years of and thousands of hours of videos on the gender dynamics and dating, to slowly build me back up to a point that I am even considering dating again. A question for you if you see this: A relationship I had turned into a friendship, with me being her source of validation, but still we were close and she meant the world to me. Then it turned really bad out of the blue after three years (like false allegations bad). So, what to be on the lookout for, not in someone new, but after you have a relationship, romantic or friendship, that at some point is good/great, to make sure I catch what you could call growing red flags, (or red flags being hoisted if you will). How do I know when to either make some very stern boundaries, or cut off the person completely after years of being very close?

This video is great and spot on. People will show you who they are when you first meet them, but you have to be willing to see it.

I believe that, if presented with the right set of circumstances, they will all screw you over.(Im referring to whats available in today's dating market)..And no I'm not an incel... The first time I heard Spencer speak after going through big changes sparked by survivor my reaction was “oh that’s cool, but you should go back on survivor and play that character again” Clearly I did not understand what he was going through, I was just someone who likes the character Spencer portrayed on Survivor. Now looking at Spencer I’m much more impressed with the changes he made, the changes that I glossed over first time around. I like survivor for the human element, and I know it’s TV, but I wish people were more authentic. Counter point to what Spencer was saying, how do we know if people are being authentic or not? I can think of a bunch of examples of people that seem like characters but also seem authentic. One that comes to mind is Carolyn

Thx mate! I needed this. My fiancee broke up with me two years ago. I lived in denial that she would come back to me. When she said she was moving on with someone else and not coming back I was crushed. Recently I realised that despite having a great job and salary - I have become my own shadow in the last 3-4 years. I wasn't the guy she was engaged to. I wasn't the man I am or supposed to be. Stumbled on your video. This is something that's incredibly prevalent in my home country of Puerto Rico. The self-confidence creates the aura that the women want to be around.
