Why is no one talking about how STRONG he is? He literally picked up Gihun with ONE hand, and during the flashing lights scene he was swinging around a heavy metal pillar, all that while missing two fingers.
I feel like Ali’s hugs would be so comforting and nice :( Ali had a low chance of survival in a situation like that, but he had a heart of gold and never deserved to die in such a way.
I mean, in a very real sense he IS the main hero. He's probably the most moral and sympathetic character. The only thing is, this isn't a show where that leads to survival.
He was kind to a fault. This is a death game and he had a family of his own to think about. There was no indication both team members could survive this round. All this loyalty and trust for what? Because he gave you bus fare? For a man you have known a few days? Forget that. This teaches us to not put trust in people so quickly, especially when there are bigger issues at hand. Even when he saved gi hun, the shaking could've had him killed. There is a time for kindness and a time to put that aside. My heart still broke when he was betrayed. Tough scene to watch.
Ali was so nice and he had a family waiting for him :( imagine what they would think when he said he would come back and that kid wouldn’t know who his biological father was
Its sad that Ali didn't tell Gi Hun about his wife and kid as Gi Hun definitely would have made sure they were taken care of financially after he survived the game if Ali had told him about them.
I could not believe it when Ali revealed he was 33 years old, I would have put him in his early to mid 20s. He has such a youthful innocence and naivete about him, you don't normally see that in 30-something year olds
am I the only one who WHEEZED when he got the bread and milk, he is kinda like a five-year-old who is with his friends and they decided to give him their food omg
But then again he had no choice. Ali is definitely my favorite character, but honestly sang woo shouldn’t be getting all this hate for playing the game. I’m sure he felt just as guilty. Although they both had family’s so it makes perfect sense really. I feel bad for both of them really.
Gi-hun after he won the whole game should have taken care of Ali's family but he didn't. Instead, he took care of Sang-Woo's family even though Sang-Woo wanted to kill him. Ali is definitely the most positive character in this series.
Even if he wanted too, its almost impossible. Ali's family went back to pakistan so it would be almost impossible for Gi-hun to know where Ali's family is at without any information about them
I don’t know if you noticed, but Ali had a different first appearance. When the players were asking questions after the guards came in, Ali also asked a question
The best characters died in a way we couldn’t imagine. Ali was betrayed by the guy he trusted. Oh Il-Nam told us a story that made me go 😭. Ji-Yeong wanted to go. That episode hold probably the most tears I’ve ever cried.
In the outside world Ali was certainly a gentle soul but wasn’t afraid to fuck someone up if they gave him a raw deal, one of the hardest people to play the Squid Game
As sad as his death was, im actually glad he died during the Marbles. It was a much quicker death than Glass Bridge, and knowing Ali he would have been the bigger man and gone first. Even if by some miracle he survived, he night have gotten stabbed by the glass explosion. And if the final confrontation during Squid Game was between Ali and Gi-hun, im not sure Ali would have had the heart to fight his friend like that.

12:00 Ali won but Sang-Woo manipulate his kindness and tricks him into thinking sang-woo trying to find another partner (Sang-Woo actually lost) I think it's like that?
When Sang-Woo was telling about his “plan” to Ali during marbles imagine if the guard who was watching them said “no the rules are if neither finish in 30 minutes both players are eliminated.”.

oh we know how strong he is. He's the "anchor" in the tug of war game. The "anchor" needs to be the strongest person.
@@amizan8653 No, la persona más fuerte debe ser la de adelante
The strategy is put the heaviest/strongest person at the back

Ikr! That’s a really good thing about him. I mean, he was able to lift up a full grown man, with only one hand, while staying still, and he did it
I feel like Ali’s hugs would be so comforting and nice :( Ali had a low chance of survival in a situation like that, but he had a heart of gold and never deserved to die in such a way.
Sang-Woo could've at least played fair and square.
Even Deok-su won fair and square
Yeah, deok-su stole other player's food and had the doctor telling him what the next game was, ofcourse he played fair and square 👍🙂👍
That’s his point, he won fair even though he’s a cheater, that’s how low this guy went.
@@HasufelyArodfr that what you called betrayal and evil to trick him

In another show, Ali would be the main hero. A migrant who becomes determined to survive a series of games, so he can provide for his family.
He WAS the main hero he saved Gi Hun. Ali shold’ve won
Yeh He Didnt Deserve To Be Betrayed By Sang Woo :(
Yeah in disney movie he would but those aren’t exactly realistic.
Yes he is the main character without him the show wouldn't continue
I mean, in a very real sense he IS the main hero. He's probably the most moral and sympathetic character. The only thing is, this isn't a show where that leads to survival.
He was too precious for this world 😔
Ali was a good guy. Too bad he put his trust in someone who had absolutely no qualms about betrayal
@@connormclernon26 Sang Woo did somewhat regret it. He just did what he had to do to survive. Still a backstabbing move though.

they could have just switched marbels
The moment when Ali grabbed Gi-hun and held him steady was so uplifting amidst all that death and carnage. I wanted to cry and hug him.
Before I did, WHY THE HECK HAS NO ONE LIKED OR REPLIED TO YOUR COMMENT?! I feel and want to do the same
man, everyone fighting with makeshift weapons and our man here swinging around a goddamn metal pillar
It's why he anchored the line during the tug of war. He's probably the single strongest person in the games.
I think if im honest hes not as strong as deok su but its really your decision:)@@connormclernon26

Omg Monika hi!
8:15 Ali doing that impression was the funniest scene in the whole damn show to me. 🤣🤣🤣🥰
True
That part had me laughing so hard
The funniest part was that it didn’t even seem like he was making fun of her. He was literally just demonstrating how she reacted.

He has no reason to save Gi-hun, but he's heartful
I love Ali. He is so cuteeeeee. I couldn’t look at sang woo after doing that to Ali.

Gi-hun after he won the whole game should have taken care of Ali's family but he didn't. Instead, he took care of Sang-Woo's family even though Sang-Woo wanted to kill him. Ali is definitely the most positive character in this series.
I personally hope he does in the upcoming second season.
Ali's wife and child went back to Pakistan with the money he got from the repair shop of his shady employer.
Even if he wanted too, its almost impossible. Ali's family went back to pakistan so it would be almost impossible for Gi-hun to know where Ali's family is at without any information about them
If Gi-Hun knows about Ali's Situation. He would have helped him.

I’m pretty sure if the final game was between Ali and Deuk-su, Ali would kick his ass.
Though Deok-su is a man with several with experience in gangs, Ali has way more ap feats and just overpowers Deok-su
he COULD, but he's ali, he'd be too nice to :')
No, Deus -su is absolutely rulesless, he would have no hesitation. Ali is not a murderer
