@Reddogmr57 I want to thank you for this video. I had a problem where my DONGFANG250 bike would not throttle right. I was trying to support from the people I got the bike which would take time until I came across your video. It saved me alot of time and headache. I tested it out yesterday and to much success it works! Thanks again sir.

Awesome! Glad it worked for you! If I still had this bike I might use something different for long term use so it doesn't wear out the slot guide in the slide. Like use plastic, brass or zinc, softer metals. What was originally there was a piece of plastic, which makes sense, because you don't want metal to metal contact and wear. The steel key stock is all I had at the time.

I have the exact same carb with the exact same problem. I used a steel nail cut down that was as wide as the hole and then trimmed at the end to fit in the slide slot. Worked well with a little JB weld to hold the nail in place. The head of the nail sits nicely on the end and won't let it drop into the carb under negative pressure

The guide pin fell out, hope it didn't suck into your motor man. I came here looking for what people use this carb for, i was thinking i might get it to work on a HM80. but anyway, that plans solid that you have there but the material you used isn't real great. for one thing it's square. the guide pin would be better and hang up less if it's round and Brass. also the hole you made can be filled with the back end of the round brass guide pin. if the guide slot on the cylinder is smaller than the pin you chose you can file it round wise and leave the back of the pin to tamp int the hole, polish the filed pic b4 installing. the new pin being round and brass will not snag or hang up. anyway, Just thought i'd throw my 2 cents in. LOL hope it works out for you however you do it.

cutted off springs allways spins when compress, you would need two plain surfaces on the spring to avoid spining. XD

Sir what's the stock main jet and pilot jet of this carburetor ?

I don't have this carburetor and bike anymore. But, I do have a Dekni PZ27 carburetor laying around that I took the bowl off to see the jets. And this video shows a Dekni PZ27 so maybe it's the same. The 2 jets in the carb I have still have the number 8 on the smaller jet and a number 10 on the bigger jet. I don't know if that is stock or not, but more than likely it is. I hope that helps, sorry I don't know of anymore information than that for you.

i noticed i had this wery same problem yesterday when boltong a new carburuteror on. the guide was also missing on mine and it got sucked in the motor i think.
i am not worried of it since ot is just hot gkue or somekind of soft plastic
i just drilled a tiny hole trough the hole and put a screw on it just so the tip of the screw works as a guide and barely came trough :)
    works perfect now.
someone should inform keihin about this. seems to happen to a lot of people with these carb's
