I appreciate your video so much, because due to several extremely emotional traumatic experiences within 1 year, I began "breathing wrong" without realizing it for almost 6 months. So Thank you So much for this video to put me back on track, as I was a year ago 😊❤ What a crazy thing to start "breathing wrong" due to stress lol smh
Great video - why is it that we can get stuck in the breathing pattern? I’ve had migraines for years now due to neck tension, I’ve tried so many different ways to fix it posture wise but I’ve seen a handful of reliable sources they say I have faulty breathing patterns. Going to give this a shot, at some point after doing this, will the new pattern be second nature?
@@НикитаПанюшкин-и1ъ Nope, maybe I did not do it properly. But more likely covid broke me to disrepair. No doctor was able to help me, 9 months already. Shortness of breath and post exertion malaise on smallest exertions.
@@radicr I had shortness of breath but treated it and I can help you if you want a tip. Totally relax your belly but do not let your ribs collapse. And also dont try to take big breaths then you feel that you need air.Сause if you feel this, then there is too much air in your body. and you need to start breathing slowly and inhaling little portions of air. Hope that will help you as it helped me
Sorry to hear this! It definitely sounds like you should be evaluated by a movement professional who specializes in breathing issues. There are also other potential causes so we would recommend that you also consult your physician for any required testing. Best of luck!
my thing is my throat is tight but my shoulders don't do that. I cannooot find anything to make the tension stop. it makes me breath feel incomplete, I hate my life
So, i do breath out of my belly, but i feel like it can't expand fully and i get really short breaths.. especially when i sit upright, I breath from my belly but i still get shallow breaths:( help?
I tried this breathing exercise while stretching and now my body won’t stop Twitching especially my pelvic area my legs and my shoulder . Basically my whole right side feels as though it wants to move in reverse . Or it feel like it loosening up but it’s doing it on its own. Do u no why this is happen
Because the diaphragm is tense, this can be released through a myofascial release technique or Diaphram massage (find on RUclips). Conscious connected breathwork can help release diaphragm and body tension as well.
Take a deep exhale expelling all the air out of your lungs FIRST. hold for a second after the exhale, then let the air back in for the inhale. If you practice a full exhale, the diaphragm will be stretched and the inhale will be passive, effortless and rewarding. If you're already struggling for air, that means by definition you're trying to inhale all the time, tensing up your diaphragm.
