Well done! I listened to Ben's music during the depths of my alcoholism and now, over 3 years sober, I still listen. It was hard at first, but this music is a kind of soul-salve. Keep up the hard work, it does get easier and the struggle is worth the payout.
Benjamin Todd helped me when I was in active addiction and going through divorce. That was 2018. I still listen to him every day. God love this man. God love him.

This man is low key one of the best songwriters I've ever had the pleasure of listening too. He uses very down to earth phrases and language, to paint a incredible picture of the struggles a lot of us live through, and have died from. At the same time there is an underlying message of hope, for those that are desperate to find one.

Benjamin Tod has a style that is unmatched and very unique, his voice is soft and sweet but raspy in a good way. The way he tells a good story in every song is really inspiring. Keep it up Ben!!!
His songs are always so genuine. You can feel it speak to the part of your soul where most modern society will never know, because the society we live is skin deep. It moves you through its imperfect perfection.
From concept, tone, form, to then finding the exact words needed to say exactly what you intended, is a feat far greater than gets credit for. This man is something else, if ever someone were born to do one specific thing, we’re looking at him. To get to witness anyone do anything as well as he writes songs is something to be grateful for. This song is amazing, can’t find a line that it could do without, or a verse lacking and needing something added. It’s concise, no fluff, every line has a purpose. And then, he sings them in such a way that makes them ring true, honest, making you deal with the weight of the feelings that comes with them. He cuts deep, most people in the comments carry the same scars, carry the same demons, and are all bound by these songs in a way that’s very unique to Ben, Lost Dog, Hayden… or maybe it’s just Gems in general. Whatever it is, I feel lucky to have access to greatness, to have felt and experienced each one of these songs and keep them as markers of memories, changes as they were made, pain as it was felt, etc. I’m rambling. This is beyond great. Thanks to everyone involved in getting it out.
