My Dad passed away two weeks ago & before his last days this song became so significant to me more than before. I don't know what was the backstory of this song for James, but for me, all the tension, resentments & regrets i had for my dad didn't matter. We often, don't realize that 'Nothing Else Matters, but Life itself!' R.I.P, DAD.....I'M SORRY FOR NOT BEING A BETTER SON TO YOU!'😢😢😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏

I will never get sick of this song. Never. I could play this on my guitar forever. It’s the riff I could ever figure out as a kid with those amazing open strings. As an adult, I can play the entire song. It’s heavenly. 😌🤘🏻🎸🔊🎶

I've been listening to a lot of performances of this song from the last few years and to be honest, I've never heard James singing that beautiful before.

I think James didn't feel super comfortable singing this song live for quite a long time, it was a bit out of his comfort zone, then during the late 90s early 2000s he was more confident but sang it with more country crooner style. James's voice took a bit of hit for a while (only a little) and now I think it's better than it has been in years he sounds amazing

Probably the best I've heard this song live. I absolutely love the way James is settling into his naturally older voice and doesn't sound like he's straining as much. Beautifully done.

This one I genuinely cried on, an amazing performance live, this song got me through alot of troubles, and my first Metallica concert.
