I just watched Two Hearts of and I absolutely loved this movie. I had to research the back story of the families. It warmed my heart to see Gabriel House of Care❤️❤️. Leslie is a complete joy to listen to. RIH Christopher and Jorge 🙏🏾 👼👼
I am recovering from a bad accident & watched the movie tonight. Omgoodness I cried throughout the entire movie. I am an organ donor myself but I never realized the powerful impact for all parties. God Bless the Barcardis for founding the Gabriel House. ❤️ RIP Christopher & Jorge 🕊️
I just finished the movie "2 Hearts" on Netflix, and immediately googled/youtubed it to see the faces and story of who the real people involved were. It was a very touching, moving, and heart breaking movie all at once. I'm very glad this movie is so well received and is helping spur people to be organ donors. I personally never thought twice to be an organ donor when I filled out my DMV forms because as Christopher said "I won't be needing them", and honestly to be able to give the greatest gift of all...life, to someone through my own death? There is nothing more that I could ask for honestly. Great interview btw and Leslie Bacardi was such a great interviewee.
It happen the same to my father, and they clearly told us at the hospital that no heart was available..he died 1 month ago. Easy when your name is Bacarddi
Organ donation is one of the best gifts you can give- it doesn’t cost you anything- you can’t use organs when you go- so why not pass on the gift of life? Also, you don’t have to be buried into the ground, you can make your ashes into a tree depending on the region you want to be after your gone, it gives back oxygen to the world. Make your wishes be known to your loved ones, and if possible, put it in writing and notarized. But let your loved ones definitely know.
