Today I finished my first ever pc after watching your videos!
How did it go?
Me too, only a few weeks ago. Your video helped me so much! Thank you!
@@andrisdombrovskis2010 np
Nice mine will be in 2-3 months because I’m working far from home for at least a month and we are moving
How did you get a gpu?
Just a tip for any beginners out there. If your tube begins to either:
1) Get bubbles = overheating the tube
2) Kink on the inner side of the bend = under heating the tube.
Don't rush this part. Keep the heat gun on low so you have more control and take your time. keep rotating it and moving it side to side to ensure even heating so you don't over stress one side or the other. You'll know when the tubing is at optimal temperature when it is no longer rigid and would bend on its own if you weren't holding it. You don't need much force at all to make the bend, you should be guiding the tube to the angle it needs, not forcing it to bend. If you're not confident and need to make multiple bends on the same line, you can also use angled couplings to eliminate the need to bend, this method does not impact performance.
In a world where everybody knows everything, especially in the tech media, it is refreshing to watch your video of your first hardline loop. I think it will give a lot of people confidence to also try it for the first time. Perhaps a follow up video / critique would also be good, identifying any issues that you feel could be resolved. Also, given the size of the case, I would have been tempted to use 420 radiators and also a flat reservoir with subtle RGB lighting. You could also look in to some theme modding for the area around the PSU shroud. I love the new 7000 case and the opportunities that exist for modding. I was a big fan of the Obsidian Cases. Well done for a very honest video.

trypophobia
@@bfrcrespo I mean he said if you’re one of those people that are scared of holes. Key word holes
@@tukz3223 lol yeah just saying the specific name cuz why not
Great Work mate! It looks great!
Well done mate, this has been enough to reaffirm my decision not to do a custom loop for my first build haha
Just watching the liquid zip through the lines makes me really want to do a hard line build, but I agree it’s a difficult task.
Do it. I built my first pc last year and regret not watercooling
@@All-kh6vi why mate?
@@All-kh6vi you can always just get an AIO. no need to go with a custom loop as your first build.
@@maazqureshi7200 already have an aio, msi mag 240mm. I don't think it's great though. I wished I went full watercooling because it looks nice, I assume better temps. Also I didn't have the budgelo0
This was nerve bending! Just like the time I builded my first PC for my brother. I’m now working on my second build that is personally mine, thanks to you!
I love watching these videos, you make them so entertaining!
Congratz on your first hardline water cooling!!! In the future I'll be doing the same
Ive been waiting fir a video from Centric, he taught me how to build PC’s and now im finishing my first one. You are in my debt Marcus, thank you 😊
I'm and property developer by trade (not a plumber) I've just plumbed my entire extension using copper pipe and testing my soldering skills using mains water pressure, those leaks aren't fun. lol Watching this brought back all sorts of nightmares. Thank you for making sure I never attempt a hardline build. lol
I wouldn't expect them to offer different fans. One who buys a case like that is putting in their own preferred fans. I like that they put it basic low end fans.
Being an electrician, bending these pipes will probably come second nature I’m excited for my first full liquid build
You did such a great job overall! One of my first excursions into water cooling was hard lines a number of years ago..... It was then that I learned about the joys of air cooling with huge Noctua towers and fans LOL!!!
Waiting since the RUclips story
Yasss
Love the RGB along with the red liquid flowing through the line. Have to compliment you on your skills!
Love the fact you show the learning process. The thought of this makes me super nervous and you captured the anxiety perfectly!!
My biggest learning was that PETG gets soft at a much lower point than Acrylic, and the tubes would actually warp under the hot water and pop loose from fittings spraying water through out the machine. Was multiple brands. I only use acrylic now. And I prefer fittings with teeth that can't pop loose. Also leave the res open while the system heats up to release pressure and while hot put the cap back on. Then you'll never have a high pressure situation.
Just ordered parts to build my first pc! Love your channel
Which GBU did you get
GT 1030... only one I could afford :(
@@stephentroy3930 yeah the prices now for the gbu are crazy but Gt 1030 is cheap but not for today games if that what u bought it for
Done about 4 hard-line builds now. It's a lot of hassle and work, but do satisfying to say "I did that" when vendors would charge thousands for the same thing. I tend to just leave only the pump going overnight with a load of paper towel out. that way I know in the morning if there's no colour on the towels it hasn't leaked
Looks great - well done!
Good job! So fun to watch , keep it up m8!
he makes watching pc building fun again for me
For your first ever custom hard-line loop this is great! Incredible work Marcus, keep it up :)
I did two hard line builds so far... If you are not using a distro plate and a O11, it's very hard and frustrating to make it perfect. I think next time I will switch back to soft tubing. Also please never use PETG, only use acrylic tubing.
I am getting to the end of my first WC build and for the love of god goto a hardware store and buy a pipe cutter and do not use a hacksaw, will make your life so much easier.
Pressure tester. YES YES YES YES. These things are great and allow you to test before adding water and killing everything.
Great job! It must feel so satisfying to finally get it all done, turn the machine on and see it in action. Looking forward to seeing what temps you get for the CPU/GPU under load
Well played sir may have taken a few days but the end product looks great great result for your first bash at it.
Eye catching. All that hard work is paid in a beautiful piece of art. 👍👍👍👍
reassuring seeing you do this, thanks for sharing a non-expert experience
I cant wait to do a custom loop for my pc! I have a 5600x cpu and a 3080. I may wait until i get a hotter cpu tho. You gave me some confidence to do this. I’m a newbie as well
Folks, go easy on Marcus. It's his first hardline build! 😅 It does take lots of practice to get the bends perfect when you look at it at any angle.
Great job Marcus! Would love to try something like this one day! I’m still too nervous to update my BIOS so perhaps in 5-10 years 🤣
I have finished my 1st time custom pc end of 2020 and most part your videos helped a lot. And I will 37 yo this year :D Who knows maybe I will be doing my 1st water cooled loop in my 40s :D Anyway not only you are very helpful also funny and joyable thanks for your hard working Keep Moving Forward.
im no expert in water cooling but for when i do my first one, im gonna measure how long the pipe is and measure the length of it as well but this was a good video to watch and good job on building this master piece :)
This is pretty sweet. I think the only other thing you could do to to make it more leak resistant is use a marine RTV (Silicone) around all the fittings. Usually it’s clear. Marine RTV is water proof. The only issue would be getting if off if you wanted to change any parts or have to repair something.
Dab soapy water with a q-tip onto your tube connections to find leaks during your pressure test.
I've done PETG hard tubing and it is very painful. You need a lot of patience and a few days for measuring, cutting and bending correctly.
you should run from pump to the gpu then radiator then back to cpu then reservoir or another radiator.
You are the closest thing to a marvel superhero that this Earth will ever see.
I mean the main reason better fans aren't in the expensive cases are simply cause if someone is spending that much on a case one would think they are going to get really nice fans and remove the stock ones anyways or maybe a set of matching ones.
Nice, I have a full cpu/gpu hard-line loop with a 6800 and a 5600x, runs super cool
Love the red liquid, really brings it all together. Great build
Most underrated tech RUclipsr literally I challenge someone to change my mind
the all new Plumber Marcus 👌😂
Can’t wait for the next watercooled build ;)
The neat setup of all the items beside him is somewhat satisfying.
I love his vid's I used to know nothing now feel like a pro at PC's.
After watching your videos I’ve been starting my first ever pc setup and it’s going well. I only have the gpu RTX 3080, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800x, and the Deepcool Macube 110 case. I still haven’t ordered any parts since I haven’t got it all figured out and the gpu shortage but I can’t wait.

17:38 : oh no it's not lighting up
19:36 : oh good
Lucky u got those big guns to help u pick up that huge case 🤣
If jayz 2 cent and Austin Evans had a baby.... sure you are the product of that 🤣🤣🤣 your thumbnail pic has me 💀💀💀💀🤣🤣
should get yourself a phobya external power supply for bleeding your loop. dont have to connect anything else up except our pump. makes life a lot easier and is only 20 beans.
I would change that Corsair cpu waterblock. I had the exact mobo w/ ryzen 9 3900x. Before I went with the custom Corsair cpu water block, I had a Corsair h100i liquid aio & never had any issues. The moment I switched to the Corsair cpu waterblock I ran into a ton of issues. Made my cpu run hotter & lower clock speeds from 4.2ghz to 4ghz, longer wait times on start ups/shut downs on Samsung 970 1tb gen 3 nvme, & made the pc stutter randomly. After I switched to ekwb cpu waterblock most of the issues went away. Cpu was running 20c - 25c cooler, stutters stopped. Now the issue that stayed is the auto boosting went from 4.2ghz to now 4ghz. I tested it on my mobo & one other & the issue stayed. I had that Corsair waterblock on for 6 months which ruin the cpu & the mobo. I got a ryzen 9 5900x cpu to replace the 3900x & tested it on my mobo & one other, my mobo doesn’t boost the cpu as high anymore, on the other mobo easily auto boosted cpu clock speeds higher.
Welcome to the beautiful world of hard line tubing !!!!! Finally I been waiting for you to jump on the Wave!!! WE Hard liners WELCOME YOU!!!!!!
i love this channel its great
So amazing for a first go, or any amount of goes. Good job mate.
Very cool video, great work for 1st attempt, looks stunning! Great tip on that pressure meter too, I don't recall Jay mentioning that!
You helped me out sooo much in my pc building journey!! Built my first rig 2 weeks ago now!
Air test use dish soap and water on fittings to locate leaks
You did great. Hard line tubing terrifies me, and it's nice seeing someone inexperienced tackle it in a video. I do love Corsair's new case line, and I'm super happy you chose the 7000D for this.
Ur patience 👌👌😵😵
Dude, u helped me with how to build a pc. Learning guides. I got a prebuilt but the knowledge was sooo helpful in general so thx
7.30 yup, totally agree on that one m8
2:55 No you don't. I'm using a G Skill Trident Z royal 32Gb kit for a few good months and I ordered another pair of 32Gb kit. It works.
I kinda wanna see the video where you destroyed a gpu 😆 for, you know, research purposes 😂 loving the channel and your work mate!
Oh my gosh that case would destroy my Table
Most people:big case
Weird people: chunky case
Me: SHEEEEEESH
This guy is really underrated
Kitchen roll bruh love our English homies 😂😂
First hardline.. wow gr8 work.
That is awesome. I am looking for a waterblock for my RX580.
3:33 sure, wait for us to make a vid of ur fails montage xDDD
You look like one of those characters from we happy few
Well done! I reckon Dracula will love this red and black look.
Dracula: is the red…. Bloood?
Pc Centric: uh… no.
Dracula: vat a ppiitty…. Fill it vid blooood…
bumped into at CES this year but you were very focussed on your work so i jsut stayed out of the way lol. was there with the Retro Tech Dad.
1:55 Daaaamn man ur hands shakinnnnn😂😂😂😂
looks amazing. i admire your bravery my dude. you definitely deserve a 6900xt or 3090 in that build. HEY GIGABYTE AORUS SEND THIS GUY EITHER A 3090 OR 6900XT PLS
Hardline = POG
I’m pretty sure warranty void stickers can’t be enforced in the United States or are just illegal so you can open and break those stickers
Fantastic job !!!
you could use some tube bending tools
Good job mate! Scary doing a hardline build. I will try one day soon..... soon he says.... (when the wife lets me spend more money)
Great job sir! Challenge complete! Can't wait for my next hardline build!
Apple - when they finally build gaming computers could be glorious..a huge Marketing prospect.. smaller & quieter, stylish architecture
Love the content man! You are one entertaining personality!
Nice build. But one tip, always dry post the system to the bios first before filling.
deserve a like for this hardwork !
JayzTwoCents ran vodka thru his pc and it cleaned all his wb pieces 😅 🤷♂️
That bottom tube is off... I can totally imagine Centric being like 'YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK IT'.
didn’t understand a second of this video but loved it
I've never done a water cooled build before. I currently have a Asus Tuf Gaming 6800 and an R7 3700x on a 140 aio. I'm kind of itching to do it, but I don't know it's worth it.
use the bender to bend the tube.
Pc centric here is the tip that will make you get more likes and views
Try doing something new like bringing a “fan” to help build a pc for him or with him
You seem like a great guy. Fun video man
That’s awesome. Great job bro
Some day I'll get a big gamer PC as well :)
as you have two radiators, should'nt you use them in between the cpu and gpu blocks? That way the coolant goes way cooler all the way.
Nah, the coolant moves so fast the order doesnt matter in any meaningful way
@@PcCentric that's nice tho
Absolutely loved this video!🔥🔥🔥
Well done Marcus - amazing considering it's a first time! You're a braver man than me
