Donavan did the smart thing. He stopped when spun. Didn't bury her. Way to go.
We ALL are watching "Farming" videos. There is NOTHING you can show us that would ever be considered even remotely "boring"... 🤠Keep'em rollin' Mike!...👍
I’m impressed by the lack of foul language in those situations. Here in Scotland a whole new vocabulary comes out at times like this
Yeah... Dairy farming is like that as well. Im pretty we just make up words at this point when its June and you're trying to get the last of the corn planted. 😂
That machine is wild! It's probably totally comfortable once you get used to flying on the ground. Thanks for letting us see Mike's life!! God bless you and yours, Sir!👍👍
well on the plus side moisture doesn't look to be a problem for the start of your growing season
There was on old Charlie Brown Cartoon. he was standing next to a puddle soaking wet, “you can never tell how deep a puddle is from he top”. You can never tell how soft the ground is from the top.
Mike, it’s never boring.
It's not the cart, it's the soil ! More clay and organic matter pulls heavy when wet.
Raining lots here now...trying to get a window to sprsy my peas...but they are turning yellow from moisture stress
You start haying yet y’all gotta lotta bales to make
Looks like very rich soil.
Good luck seeding your 2024 crops at your north farm Mike
0:23 thats some GOOOOOD soil right there
Kinda a half stuck. Glad the south farm is getting wet.Wisconsin is wet too.
I am over 30 and never have i ever seen a vehicle/job ive wanted to do so bad.
Perfect video 👍
Can you imagine trying to do your cup holder ride test in that floater Mike!?! My back is killing me just thinking about pounding around the field it that machine, I think I’d rather run a D6 dozer on blasted ledge away side to side I. The beast all day😅
That machine rides on air bags and an air ride seat. It actually takes the abuse of rough fields really well.
Yay a stuck happy your getting moisture
Mike there is a few thousand acre farm for sale near McCord Sk. I see lately.
There goes this years profit to fix that mirror😂😂😂
Me over here googleing how to launder a tow strap.
I just wish I had nice black soil that deep here in New Zealand
Mike why won't you try class xerion & lexion
Claas kept saying they were going to send him a lexion but never did. Xerions don’t hold a fart in the wind compared to any other quad. Low power, low hydraulic flow, way to lightweight. And it’s 4 wheel steer instead of articulated. Nightmare in the soup.
Axion and lexion are great units tho.
I haven't been watching.. when did you get the 580? What does Donovan have?
Also, i love that you call it a drill & not a planter.. I believe they are the same but it seems canadians are the only ones calling it a drill..
810 flex air on an RBR Venturi chassis. The RBR is made in Alabama if i recall.
Need to triple the 800s lsw.. more weight or less air will do very little compared to adding triples to it..
Morning
Is that floater using GPS to track coverage? Because he looks to be all over the map, even before considering the waggin' and wobbling of Mr Toad's Wild Ride.
did you consider trying out a yakum rope ? i believe they make them in bigboy sizes too
Can't get them in Canada.
Another nice video. The big case in the works still or?
That floater needs a monster truck sway bar in the rear.
Salut Mike magnifique vidéo et le tracteur et le semoirs et automoteur engrais et bien équipés et intéressante 😂😮😅😊
Jeebus, that guy in the floater must have a great stomach that thing rocks and rolls like a boat high at sea. 🤣
Should go and watch Trevor Struthers move with those Vectors in the hills of the west coast... makes this tame.
@@farming4g nah my guy, I saw this thing on it's side a couple of times, I'm good 🤣🤣
Maybe I missed it on another video but what happened to your mirror on your truck?
It happens
RBR Venturi floater chassis.
10:17 - well, if it was a big bird, how come you didn´t see it? How fast were you going, Mike? ;)
Mike, Mike, Mike…unhook those backup alarms! They have never provided an ounce of safety, only an annoyance!
Mike, what is your review of the Case 580?
How many hours power case IH580
Tuned to 680 hp (boost) 😉
Mike why do you use miles when youre Canadian?
How much does the drill weigh ?
Now does that really consider as being stuck. looks like he got himself out.
So now does he have to put money into the pot?
Thanks for sharing with us
Guessing you are cleaning the potty room 😮
What brand of tires are on your Case tractor?
Stuck isn't the word for that lol
Case gets stuck??
do you actually think in "miles" or is that just what you say?
It’s not a stuck if you don’t get pulled out.
Just enough of a hill and you can get the jack down by yourself while the tractor holds tension. Ask me how I know. 🙄
How do you know?
@@daveevans2710 I have done it
@@daveevans2710I don’t think he does know. Good job calling him out
👋😊
NO YANKUM ROPE??
Don't sell in western Canada to my knowledge
Getting stuck is an every year tradition for u Mike.
Stucks are inevitable.. if you don't get stuck, you're missing ground
Mike, that is an RBR chassis. The company I work for have 2 of them with Salford air flow boxes with 90 foot booms on them.
Getting the little pickely things wore off the tires!
My ocd would tell him to roll that strap up properly. Lol
This year will be perfect harvest! At least it seems that south farm is getting quite some rain in those days. 🥳
5:59 mike, please don’t start jackin on camera. At least save that for the patreons. 😂🤣😂 sorry couldn’t resist
6:30 - I think you´re being generous there, Mike! You borrow equipment, you put your soul into returning it in mint contition!
I guess those custom guys thought they were doing a rally stage and not a job for a farmer
Great video Mike
We always expect a frost until May 24th.
Fell into a frostboil.
Did you pay the stuck cup?
No yankem rope?
You need a. “. Special magic pull rope “
👍
The beeper would have to GO ! Ha ha
Wow between the wheels and the tiller you must be near max capacity or above? I have operated one these tractors in high elevation snow country and they will get stuck if you get off road by mistake, even with four chains. Much like the soil you really have to read the snow, keep up your rpms in deep snow conditions to avoid getting stuck! Good luck, vote ALL blue!
You’re assuming about the fertilizer.
