    What was I thinking upon release? "Group like Greg, group like Greg, group like Greg..."

    For those of us just getting into Archery, your dialogue and insights are lessons in themselves. Especially when inform us of the distance, spine and bow poundage. I know it informed me that I bought too much stuff earlier in the game, your advice is more than helpful.

    Hi, this is something that Jake Kaminski said about release, this is referring to OR shooting and expansion, however, Jake talks about the release being a reaction to what is going on in the back rather than an action. this has helped me.

    I find that I generally hit where I intend to when I'm not thinking anything at all. Pretty much combination of 2 and 3.

      Same here. Also the faster I release. I need to concentrate on the 1 second but also not think too much about release. I tend to hold too long.

    A video that I would like to see is what effect placement of the nocking point has. Yours seems a bit higher than I have seen before. What are the pros and cons of this.

    Greg, are you looking down the top of your arrow? The reason I ask is it looks like your nock at full draw is past your eye and out to the side. Just wondering what your aiming system is? Great release by the way!

    • @TradArchery101
      @TradArchery101  2 года назад +1

    Greg have you ever tried hunting with a recurve and if so how did it compare to shooting 3d targets.

    • @TradArchery101
      @TradArchery101  2 года назад +1

      Yes, I grew up hunting with my fathers recurve, in fact, I still have it. I only hunted from the ground. Never hunted from a stand. Have shot from stands on multiple occasions.
      Sorry. I'm not into comparisons, to me they are different and I'm okay with that. One is not better or worse than the other. They are what they are.
