    Hey Vee. I know this video is a couple of months old, but if you see this comment, I'd like to thank you for all the tips. I've watched quite a few videos about it, but yours was the one that I feel helped me the most, and I did manage to get the post I wanted. Again, thank you very much

    Good advice thanks for uploading. Personally I felt the music was a) a distraction b) too loud in the mix. I had the volume on 100 on the app and laptop and had to concentrate more to take in what you were saying because of it.

    hi, i have an upcoming honorary assistant psychological practitoner interview, for iCope.. and I was wondering whether there were any tips you could give me? There isn't any job description to view, and base my preparation, it's a summer placement that lasts 3 months. And the interview, is divided into 2 parts, firstly a 20 minute written task, then a 20 minute virtual interview. So, what would you advise me to do to prepare for part 1, as I have no idea what to expect!! And also, to calm down nerves xx Thank youu, and Congratulations for your successful interview!

      Heya! Good job on getting that interview. Relax, you will be just fine, and every interview is really good experience to get anyways, as it makes you used to the questions and the way to answer them, as well as making them less scary for next time. I'd suggest researching the Trust/Agency/Company you will be volunteering for, as well as the kind of people it aims to help. For instance, is it children, veterans, older adults, etc? Each will have specific challenges, so it is good to look informed in your interview. I'd also be prepared to explain how I know the limits of my competencies and how I wouldn't hesitate to ask for help if something too big came my way. Let me know how it goes and good luck!

    When should one start applying for AP roles ?

    • @VeePsych
      @VeePsych  2 года назад

      I would keep in mind it can take a few months for the application process (applications closing, shortlisting, interviewing, etc) and then a couple months for the recruitment process if successful (can take a long time). So do it earlier than you think, then maybe negotiate with HR your start date !
