You are right. It is difficult to make the colour stay on hand made things. I used some special colours to renovel my leather boots and a bag, but they left traces on my clothes.
I wish you every good thing! After alterations on my wedding dresses, and the comments from the tailors, I can't imagine anything worse than working with brides!

I purchased Angelus "leather" Paint & Preparer/Deglazer and Acrylic Finisher from an art supply store. My bag is a matte dark olive green crocs pattern and I want to become a dark purple. Do you recommend using these or something else? Much Appreciation.
@Angelica, you can probably use the angelus paint, but when you clean the shoes before paint, do not rub too much with deglazer. The skin layer could be came off because it's not real leather. Hopefully you get great outcome!

At 7:20 U should have removed the Logo with the screwdriver 🪛, u instead went the lazy way and painted around it. U will see the original white color underneath the logo. Bedo Leatherworks would have NEVER done that missed step.

I used Tarrago Leather dye on my YSL belle de jour clutch. And it has held up perfectly.

Thanks Agkprz. Because the screws that fixed the lock and logo were corroded, so they were not able to be removed.

Beautifull work but why go through the problem of applying the dye around the logo when it would have been simple to unscrew the lock mechanism ?
The screws were corroded, so I was not able to take it out. 😅
