Please don't do us like this. You leave us hanging. We want to know your view of which one of these speakers sounds better and why? I could listen to each of these through the best headphones, but still not be able to tell which one is best unless I'm right next to you and Wilson.
We both think the Boom 2 Plus is the better speaker. As far as fidelity, they're pretty much equal. In loudness and bass, the Boom 2 Plus wins.

I like the way Bang&Olufsen added a wireless charger at the top of the speaker (Beosound A5) and Soundcore can make it even better because they are in the charging industry and would be at a reasonable price.

Hey I got a question, can you link the Boom Plus and Boom 2 Plus together with Partycast??? My brother has 2 MBPs and I was hoping we'd be able to do Partycast between all of them.
Yes you can!!! I literally just hooked up two B2P with a MBP, it works and sounded great!
Let's face it. Their real competition with this one is the Tribit Stormbox Blast. Im sure Dominik or Alan will make a comparison as they don't give their speaker to the neighbours :(. You are right the new strap is a bit strange. It still baffles me why they didnt make a real contender to the BB3, with a separate subwoofer setup. Compared to the previous generation it looks a bit more agressive and has definitely more bass but left the hifi minded people behind. Even if I get the BB3 for free I wouldn't use it because of way too heavy and unpractical design, but I really hoped Soundcore would make a real 3 way system. Happy they kept the 3mm aux port.
You've got a really good point in regards to the REAL competition. It would be nice to see what Soundcore could do with a 3-way setup. The W-King X20 competes with the BoomBox 3 pretty well. Hopefully Soundcore will go that route next time.
I will made comparison on that, still not available here in poland i need to wait till 5 of june, but alan already bought it
3 way system, speaker would be too heavy.

Soundcore speaker are growing fast with a excelente sound. And is the budget for for music lovers. And what matters is how good is the purchase. Jbl. Bose.Sonos..not dow,they sound good. But is to much money. But soundcore is doing it for people budget.
AND good sound..

They are already the CHAMPS...TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE..

No it is not, I sold my Motion Boom Plus for the Boom Plus 2. Wish I never, not worth the extra money at all.

Any bluetooth speaker that can be plugged in all the time without hurting the battery?
I don't know if this will 100% work, but Sony’s battery care mode limits the battery to an 80% or 90% charge. This will increase the longevity of the battery. If you leave it plugged in, in theory, it will never charge to 100% and not ruin the battery.
I love these comparisons, all great speakers but the Boom 2 indeeds slaps. A part of me wants the Boom Plus👏🏼👀

So far you've got 3 videos on the Boom 2 Plus but there's only one listed on your channel, which is the video with "best speaker under $400" in the title. I got to this vid by clicking on one of the suggested at the end of the "best speaker under $400" video.
Motion Boom Plus has a more direct sound. The Boom 2 has more of a wide around sound during the sound comparison.
MBP has better bass handling, specially in the deeper notes

Looks like they only really added a better look and took away water proofing abilities boom plus still sounds better
"Best Bluetooth speaker under $400"? I gues you could say that if you don't include the often sales lf the UE Hyerboom (definitely a lot better and clearer than the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus). You can get the UE Hyperboom on sale for about $330 at different times throughout the year! Definitely worth checking the Hyperboom out. I bit the bullet and it sounds amazing.
Also, I hope Soundcore will keep speakers that don't have lights because not all people are a fan of them.

Why don't they use the Bluetooth codec APT X HD or better yet LDAC or LOSSLESS Bluetooth? They are using SBC which is the worst to use only 320kbp/s witch is a VERRY LOSSY. So, this speaker wont sound any better than a MP3 at 320kbp/s. All you're ever going to get out of this is MP3 quality which is GARBAGE. Don't expect anywhere near CD quality sound from this it's IMPOSSIBLE with verry lossy compression that this unit does on the Bluetooth signal path.

Ils utilisent aptx hd sur la soundcore motion , mais perso je n'ai pas vu assez de différence , les sbc est très correct , je ne crois même pas qu'il ecrête sous les 20 000 Hz.... Mais effectivement , aptx hd a un très léger mieux sur de longues écoute ça fatigue moins .
