I got the same sectional in my front room!! I’m leased to a great company rn but my next logical step is goin independent🎯💯 Good Luck & God Bless you & your new endeavor!
I wish you success in your journey! Make sure to “cross your T’s and Dot your I’s” , read everything twice , and don’t miss a step. I believe you are going to do great !
I’ve been looking into f2f, mainly thanks to your videos. Transparent videos. I’m a northeast local truck driver for about 5 years. I love driving around here ( not bothered by the traffic and small roads) . Anyway.. the paperwork, do you just get your #s. Drop and go . Get paid a week later or do you have to submit paperwork ( transflo ) . I know rookie question. But for us local. We have the paperwork with us and we hand deliver it to another department at the end of the day. I’d like to start power only for the freedom like you always say, it may lead to me being dryvan or flatbed but we will see.
I put 30 years behind the wheel of a big truck , the first part a company Driver and the 2nd part owner operator, I saw a bunch of good drivers and many like this Fellar, I called them Jumpers Always jumping from one company to the next ,they never treated me right and never paid me what I'm worth, good luck jumper you won't never find the perfect company !!!
No kidding I don't want to run here I don't want to go there I don't want to stay out I don't want heavy loads I don't want to tarp maybe trucking isn't for him
That is exactly what I thought in first few videos that all ended up the same way , I'm quitting this company and going to this other which is the best , I did my research on it yadda yadda yadda type BS....
Its called "owning your own business" You have the typical trucker mentality that ACTUAL trucking company owners love. "shut up and drive" Keep doing what they tell you!
Me and my wife just started on our own this week. I still have to get my CA permit but I know how to do it. If you need help holler. Matter as fact we are here at Nacogdoches, Tx going to try this Kinfolk Restaurant! Our main issue is our authority age being 65 days old, we was attached while letting it age but first week out PO managed to book us a 7k week
Are you guys from around here? Actually I've had my authority active for a while trying to get some age on it. I could have booked loads this week but decided to get organized. Would definitely like to talk with you sometime. Kinfolks is pretty good. Smokehouse is next door. Good burgers and steaks. Good luck to you guys.
Only seen a few videos but WOW... Remember when Truck drivers just focused on doing their job and driving and delivering freight. Holymoly I aint sure you really know what you really want and pretty sure your going to leave your own trucking company in the end. Sheesh JUST DRIVE and dump all the crap. No one gets exactly what they want , when they want all the damn time. You aint going to get the golden trucker of the loads pass. You gotta drive and deliver instead of always jumping around quitting every company ya barely drove for .What do you want to sit in your truck driver seat in your driveway so you can post video yourself all day long and bill for freight you aint delivering.
Trucking companies love guys like you "drive and deliver" "just drive" "you gotta drive" you're doing exactly what THEY want. LOL. Your actually focused on doing their job and lining their pockets. I'm doing exactly what I want and lining my pockets. Your obviously not a business owner.
@@steadytrucker ok bro thanks alot, im looking into it, im debating on doing tsh so i can own my trailer and it will be new when i get it. but landstar and mercer seem decent for me as well
I left F2F for another company and am doing much better! There were many things I did not like about F2F. NO support after 5pm or weekends. Not even emergency. Aft Hrs is non-existence. They also charge $220 a Week for a trailer and if anything breaks on it, YOU are responsible to PAY and FIX it~ I have several other rants... but I'll leave it at that. CYA~
I noticed the after hours slowdown at first but over the last couple of months it was greatly improved. I was able to get loads booked after 5. Had a blow out in downtown houston one night and they handled it for me. I never picked up a trailer for that reason. But after starting the power only I realized how much I liked it. I hear you though. Different strokes.
@@steadytrucker Well, one other issue was that I sold my truck and informed them of this numerous times prior to doing so and also when I did it, then purchased another truck within 2 days. They leased me off and sent me a released of associate letter. They told me if I wanted to lease back onto them with my new truck, I had to re-fill out the application and if approved, attend orientation once again. THAT is when I said enough is enough and leased onto another company that I am much more happy with~!!
@@DieselTrucker2018 I sold my Freightliner and bought another truck and they never missed a step. All I needed was the new stickers, insurance and ELD.
You've got to be *bleeping* me...!!!! I just got done watching One video of how you're going to r2f and now the next video you're leaving it? And I thought I change jobs alot....
@@steadytrucker The biggest reason I'm shoot for my own authority is because of the ability to factor 97 cents on the dollar. I'm still in a case going on to 5 Years cuz crooked Cook County Illinois just takes care of the lawyers with their clients and squeezes York nothing's like me. If one steals a $500 TV from Best Buy he goes to jail for three years but Trucking Company can steal $5,000 from a driver and five years later he only pays $3,000 while the other $18,000 is still in limbo. Frankly I would pay 10% just to ensure that I could put the other ninety percent did my bank account.
I did make up my mind. Loved f2f but I decided to cut out the middle man. Just decided it was time. Wasn't sure power only was gonna work until I tried it at f2f.

This 2 year journey from Star to Mercer now on to Own Authority! Best of luck!
It's been a bit longer than 2 years but I made it.
Congrats, good luck! I’m hoping to be doing that by this time next year.

Paperwork is easy with F2F. Once you're done you just scan a copy and send it to them from your phone. F2F is a very good company,, lots of freedom
Congratulations. I wish you the best luck moving forward.

I'm not sure about that.
