Progressive Host Sam Seder Reveals Patrick Bet David's Scams
Embed
- Published on Feb 12, 2026
- Sam Seder joined Patrick Bet-David's Valuetainment podcast for a spirited discussion on income inequality and tax policy. Seder’s well-researched arguments left Patrick and his co-hosts-Vincent Oshana and Adam Sosnick-scrambling to keep up, as their pro-capitalist views clashed with Seder’s progressive perspective.
Patrick Bet-David, a staunch conservative and vocal defender of capitalism, pushed back strongly, but Sam Seder came prepared with facts and data to counter every point. The debate is both enlightening and entertaining, as Seder methodically takes apart their arguments with clarity and wit.
This lively exchange is a must-watch for anyone interested in seeing a battle of ideologies play out, with Sam Seder holding his own against the Valuetainment crew.

BPD is clearly a sleazy used car salesman.
@ lol what
@Mermayydman bot alert..
@Mermayydman bro. wth is "Cedar" a tree?
But sam is a less than honest player himself. Sleight of hand with cultural capital, as opposed to financial capital.
@aprilnelly wtf you Smokin “cultural capital”?
PBD is the most unchristian man who claims to be Christian in the far right movement
Ohhh that’s a tough race my friend. There’s a LOT of those
He’s israeli owned and operated.
Hes not Christian....that means trusting Jesus, he trusts himself.....so not Christian at all
His bible is CLEARLY usd $$ 💵
Paddy says that he is a Christian but he the type of guy that when they pass the plate around on Sunday he would put a twenty in and he would look for change.
PBD ran a pyramid scheme. Another weasel talking about boot straps.
Compare your ideas of pyramid scheme to what social security is. Think it through.
@ don’t need to. Look up A Williams Life Insurance from the 1990’s. Same model. Same bullshit. Williams became a multi multi millionaire “twisting” policies in a pyramid scheme. Social Security is a ridiculously false equivalency.
@ go research A Williams Insurance from the 90’s. I don’t have the time to educate you on this. It’s a pyramid scheme, and he’s a bullshitter extraordinaire.
@troywarren1075I don't think you understand what a pyramid scheme is
Republican conservatives use Christianity to get rich and make poor people poorer. Conservatives are pro-gays when they debate about Iran and Muslims. When they debate with liberals they Are anti-gays
1. People will get old
2. People are not all on the same level of financial intelligence
3. NOT EVERYONE WILL BE RICH
4. Taking care of people once they've gotten older is NOT a cost-analysis exercise, it's the MORALLY RIGHT thing to do
5. When you understand these 4 above, you understand why Social Security benefits are ESSENTIAL to taking care of people
💯
You need to get the DNC back on track with messaging....
They could use you, hell we all could.
Sam hearts is in the right place but social security is class struggle you are taxing a younger generation to pay for elderly people who generally are financially better off then some one starting out in life. in addition social security is bankrupt. Safety nets need to be at the local level according to the needs and ability of the community.
@chriscourtney7369 Then you’ll have states like Florida with zero safety nets because the robber barons that run the state don’t give an f about safety nets for the poor.
Prescribing bootstraps to the poor is how you get rebellion, revolution, terror, crime
PBD is a straight up grifter.
Love that people calling him BPD 😂
I've been saying that for years
Of course he is, but so is Sam Seder.
And he's so damn dopey
Idk if he's a grifter. I think he just has an awful worldview.
I’ve been paying into social security for decades so why should I feel guilty about using a benefit that I’ve been paying for?
Should not feel guilty at all, but you would have been a lot better off if you would have been able to invest it yourself.
@joekeusch5995possibly, no guarantee. And with 70% of Americans living “paycheck to paycheck,” many wouldn’t have been able to invest at all.
I’d say it’s good not to have millions more homeless senior citizens in our country.
@joekeusch5995the whole system is rigged.
@joekeusch5995based on what are you claiming that?
@joekeusch5995most people are not .. most people are clueless.. this is why this system serves better for the population! Think MACRO not MICRO
If PBD’s parents raised him right he wouldn’t have made most of his wealth scamming people with an MLM.
he believes people who lose money in mlm don't deserve to have it in the first place. in other words, they deserve to be scammed.
@johnnybeefumso he’s a Honorary Joo?
You said this perfectly! His PHP scam of a company!
@chibuezeonwunaka8098 What is php? partial hospitalization? Bet David was involved in an MLM scheme, wasn't he?
@johnnybeefumyes and he got out of it and seperated himself before people saw through it
I am sick and tired of Reaganomics!
Welcome to the fkn club buddy!!😡😡
Bet David accounts wealth as righteousness.
@MrAceRazor I guess so, the right to ownership is protected
Rich people can be so full of shit. He thinks he can help society by somehow creating a way for everybody to become rich enough not to need these programs. Yet he is the one who is paying people minimum wage in order to make himself richer.
I'm doing well as the CEO.
I think the minimum wage is great.
With my expertise, I can create more minimum wage jobs.
I do think hangars for parking my private jet are too expensive.
Weird, when I was at my poorest, I looked at my check and said if I don't pay into social security and Medicaid I have the income to not need my third job. Screw this idea of give your money to the government to spend on your behalf on things you don't care about. Please don't ignore the looming problem of social security becoming insolvent.
@chrismcreynolds9445
By hardwork, everyone would be rich?
By not being rich one must and should die?
@chrismcreynolds9445 Yes... but why did you need 2-3 jobs? Im not saying the government dont fuck us in the ass, they do too. But at least they are regulated. If nothing is regulated egoism goes rampant. The ideal world wouldnt need welfare at all. But we dont make the world ideal, do we?
Well a bottom 1% in america beats the top 1% in the year 200 in quality of life. And that's just bc the average person is more wealthy than any time in history, especially in the USA. So if you develop your economy, you'll always have classes but everyone eventually will have good lives
PBD is a snob and condescending.
And a trumped aside from being an immigrant
@Elena-rt9yu He a LEGAL immigrant, dude.
Yeah and sounds very entitled judging people who need social security. Hes multi millionaire and should be happy he benefited from this country and let the less fortunate have their basic needs met. I'm canadian and we never ear people like that, we have a much better social safety net and barely anyone is complaining about it.
@williamerdman4888key word there isn’t legal. He should have sympathy for immigrants, but instead he pulls up the ladder behind himself claiming “I got mine” and going around making up fake versions of virtue so he can try to sleep at night.
@williamerdman4888yea...and keeps crapping on his roots
PBD is a literal salesperson for the GOP
PBD is a conman.
Litterally, he made the majority of his money through scams and cons
@arkitecwasheresome type of insurance pyramid scheme.
@christopherm202dcfinest2that’s why this is the greatest country in the world! You can be a con artist and get away with it!
@ktp0913 🤣🤣🤣
@ktp0913yeah I. Europe or Australia they have Medicare, no issues with paying for healthcare for anyone.
86% for people on Go fund me ! Are Americans begging for money for there medical Bills ...... Greatest country in the world LMFAO.
This is entirely true!!
Wow you are right that’s nuts. So sad.
Entitlement? we pay for it! Tax cuts are entitlements!!!
Wrong! Tax increases are entitlements. You’re taking away from the productive to give to the unproductive
Also, you aren’t paying for it. Your grand kids are paying for it. If you don’t balance the budget you are effectively charging a flat tax on everyone’s savings by defecit spending to pay for it.
It's our money to begin with that we pay in. We are ENTITLED to it because it's ours. PERIOD!
A entitlement is basically a right. We have a right to our own money the Government told us it was saving for us to be returned in our later years for our retirement.
We have no rights to a Tax Cut, that is absurd. The only way you could argue that a tax cut is an entitlement is via semantics. Being that tax policy is signed into law or a contract, that technically makes it a right, although most would argue that our real "Rights," are things that can not ever be revoked or changed, if it is, it was never a right to begin with, it was a simply a temporary privilege.
@HeplMeh math doesn’t care about what you think you have a right to. The reality is the government confiscated your money and put it in a program headed for bankruptcy. Unless we drastically slash government spending, social security won’t exist in the future.
You really think you are entitled to other people's money huh? Thank fucking God your side fucking lost.
Remember, insurance companies are an honest business and have a great reputation with the public. Surely this guy who made his millions from selling insurance to people is a trust worthy guy with everyone's best interest at heart.
He wasn't even selling insurance he was selling memberships to his insurance MLM where you pay a bunch of fees to "join" and then are encouraged to go out ans recruit as many people as possible to join and pay the startup fees and everyone above you gets a cut from the people you sucker into recruiting. It is a textbook pyramid style MLM same as amway and all that other bull.
"Interest"
😂 yep
😂🤣🤣😂
@ASouthernBoyCanSurvive false hopes that you will get any money from them if anything untoward happens to you.
Having healthcare be affordable so you don't die, totally comparable to a pizza party. 🙃
You can't have it both ways unless you're over-producing doctors who will compete for LESS money. Which is highly unlikely for a doctor.
@TheSandwichMonsterUnless you go to almost any other first world nation.
They straw-manned him with examples about weed and pizza? This is how PDB and his cohost always argue and it’s so frustrating.
I love how they light up on an oversimplified analogy and abandon the nuance of the discussion. I’ve yet to see an intellectual champion for this administration’s ideology
“Entitlement programs” the audacity of these ppl
PBD seems to think he can do no wrong. Everyone else is lazy & not smart. He is "Mr.Perfect"...
Bill Maher is in the same territory. He's so smug and the way that he parrots netanyahu's positions is sickening. Bill knows a lot but he is clueless when it comes to the israeli-palestinian situation
PBD never lets his guests finish their points. He is a bully or sorts and it works on folks that are not as knowledgeable and seasoned as Sam.
Agree 💯 with you.
On PBD not wanting his kids to rely on welfare: It's like saying, well if I teach my kids to be perfect drivers, then there is no need for them to ever use seat belts. And if everyone else teaches their children to drive perfectly like how I teach my own, then seat belts will become obsolete.
He is making one ideal about himself and presuming that it is the same for everyone else. His argument lacks depth and foresight. His argument makes sense for him and only him. PBD uses a lot of logical fallacies in attempts to make his points and his audiences lack the literacy and critical thinking skills to see the grift.
Hi audience is not intelligent what so ever. They're just average IQ and that just does not cut it anymore.
Well said.
BOOM!
@MACRONOnehe’s got millions so his kids will inherit his money he’s not broke like you.
It’s not a fucking pizza party. It’s to help those that need it! Damn it!
Sure, people on Social Security are just the people who were all raised wrong. And this guy (PBD) has a huge online following? Jesus help us.
Gutting public education and undermining teachers and science has turned the citizens into a Idiocracy.
they're too young to think it can happen to them
We should all grow up to be RUclipsrs. The world would be a better place….
People born rich always talk about boot straps
PBD is not in the insurance business.... it's a scam MLM
How is it a scam
@JJ-vp3bdyou get paid more money for bringing more and more people into paying for being a “member”
Its a scam because he told poor people you can start your own business selling insurance. Then signing day says we'll who is gonna buy insurance from you if youu don't use the same insurance. Then when those poor people can't pay for the policy he sells thier life insurance policy like cattle so when that person dies the buyer gets the payout. And yes the boomers maid this practice legal in america.
@mangodango12 if that was true, He'd be in jail. He actually gets a cut of each life insurance policy his recruits and their downstream sell.
@Jindsing stay ignorant 😂 do real research
BPD can't fathom that a country does not in any way function like a company. All his analogies don't make any sense
Yeah anyone who has taken a business course knows a government is not like a business. A business's goal is to make a profit. Anytime you privatize a public service it ends up going bad not just for the public but also the business because they are constantly losing money.
He's intellectually dishonest because he's a conman.
PBD’s success all results from a multilevel marketing scam.
PBD is an example of arrogance thinking it's intelligence. He's not that bright.
Conservatives have to realize not 99% of people will not be rich in this country and need these government programs just because we have the opportunity in America does not mean it turns in to overwhelming success
Progressives need to realize that if you make an entire population dependent on social services that are headed for bankruptcy, you will cause a massive social collapse once the bubble is popped. It’s unsustainable and both parties just deficit spend to delay the inevitable on the next generation.
You're right, not everyone will be wealthy. But, outside of physical disability, working, improving and not getting arrested will result in you being stable, and likely middle class.
Nobody is guaranteed overwhelming success.
Cons out in society are some of the biggest welfare queens in these rural areas.
@joeposteraros There won’t be much of a middle class much longer if we keep letting the top 5% hoard all the wealth on the planet.
I’m so glad I got out of the PBD and right wing grifters echo chamber 🙏
PDB literally judges everything by popularity. Followers, streams, etc
Millionaires always consider things that poor people buy as "entitlements"
For their things, its "investments"
I paid a lot into my Social Security "entitlement" for many years. Now I am receiving it and living overseas. Because I am not living in America, I can't access the Medicare I paid into for all of my working life. I can live with that, but don't touch my Social Security.
Apparently you were not raised right 😂
Tax the wealthy more than me, a middle class nurse
PBD will hold that view until something catastrophic affects him or his family and will suddenly have a change of heart.
no he won't 😂. he' got a brand to maintain. Patrick Bootstraps David
He'll probably file for some type of Bankruptcy and using Federal welfare to keep his family afloat then say "well, I was just smart and know how the system works"
The dude literally said that popular ideas can’t be taken seriously he’s literally advocating against democracy. What an idiot.
It isnt a valid metric to measure whether we need it or not. Democracy is fake and gray anyway
I use to be a big fan of Pat and Valuetainment. I was watching Valuetainment before he hit 100k subs. Until I found out he made his money scamming people. Pat particularly targeted newly arrived immigrants and Latinas.
That's what did it for me too. I can't stand people who take advantage of others for money and mlm companies are the scum of the earth
Reaganomics put us all waiting for crumbs to fall off the king's table
PBD is the epitome of “I can’t teach you how to be wealthy, but I will 100% sell you on the idea of being wealthy”
So him being a immigrant he never used any programs? Like public schools, health care, hell even food stamps. He just came here rich. Smh
He’s such a liar. I’m Iranian and no Iranian out here wasn’t living off government assistance before their kids started working.
American millionaires sound so entitled and act superior. In Canada if you ever acted like that you would immidiatly be called out and our social safety net is much superior. They have a very selfish way of thinking, people do not chose to be on social security
The average American is richer than the average Canadian
@arteche4045 in earnings after taxes but we get a lot more services. And it's only because you guys have more billionaires. Our middle class is better off than yours.
@ASouthernBoyCanSurvive well you know what I'm grateful for that and I agree we need to do our part. But other than that canada is better for everything except if you're a millionaire the US is better
@arteche4045 . No. The U.S. Census Bureau states the median income for U.S. families is $74,580. In Canada, the median income stood at 68,400, as per the latest report. Taxes differentiate the two countries; U.S. federal income tax brackets range from 10% to 37% for individuals; in Canada, tax rates are between 15% and 33%. However, in the U.S., singles earning over $44,725 annually face a 22% tax rate, whereas Canadian singles earning less than $53,359 only pay 15% in taxes.
This is objectively false. Not sure why Canadians think they are better than Americans. You guys are actually poorer than the average American
Sam's right! PBD and his puppets are owned
Sam is right on this one.
Every man for himself means that people will look to do things out of desperation- not a good thing for society
Something about a needle and a camel…money corrupts your ability to see OTHERS.
I pitched in for the pizza but now I'm entitled if I want my slice.
everyone doesn't pay the same, and most that use it don't pay at all. You are not asking for the slice of pie you paid for, you paid for a slice but are asking for 2 pies, a soda, breadsticks and chicken wings, and then crying that "I pitched in, i deserve it".
@sark4786 I paid a lot! I have been working and paying taxes since I was 16. Back when the SS use to mail out how much money you made every year mine went all the way back to when I was 16.
@sark4786 What the fuck are you talking about? Social Security pays out proportionally to how you contribute.
Iv had enough of people that just got here thinking they have the right to tell us who were born here and whose grandparents were born here, telling us what we are owed from our government.
Especially considering the $$$ we’ve put into it!
@TheVuduYuDu we put in our parents and their parents and grandparents!
@journeyman378 exactly!
This is the gratitude you get from opening your arms to people of all nations to come in and not taking nationalism seriously.
@marcusgenz4020 not even about nationalism, it's just basic f'king acknowledgement and appreciation.
"Entitlement Taxes breaks" every time I mention corps.
They’re NOT entitled programs. We paid for the programs via FICA deductions.
PBD refuses the answers given, then says, "You haven't answered my question."
Insurance companies add another level of inefficiency
As a conservative I do believe we need a healthy balance of social programs. Some need to be cut as well as the pentagon budget. Patrick praises capitalism, but you need a poor class for it to work
Bingo
Exactly. They feel mentally moral and superior to screw over the less fortunate or those stuck in a struggle. Those who actually make our world run are screwed while these guys rake in millions sitting down using scripts to trick, confuse or scare people into taking their policies. Disgusting. I morally couldn’t do it even knowing Id make more money
Well said. People seem to forget that most of us earned our "entitlement"!
Capitalism is what you make of it. It doesnt require poor people. Poor people are bad for capitalism because they cant spend much money. Capitalism isnt about 1% being nasty rich. Its about the circulation of money. It has to move. If it doesnt, then society stalls.
@CHARLIEH-df1qgCapitalism is the private ownership of the means of production.
Thats it.
am I wrong?.....but they take that shit out my check every week if I'm not entitled stop taking it
That’s the whole point. Stop taking it.
@davelombardo1961my biggest paycheck in a week was $2302.44, Medicaid and social security was only $176.14 out of my check. That’s nothing, you wanna keep that so you can buy liquor?
At the core the Americans do not care about their friends, neighbours, fellow citizens at large. Me me me.... Lack of access to health care is the largest source of bankruptcy in the US. I say again the largest source of bankruptcy... You don't need it until you need it. Imagine deciding to leave wounded soldiers on the battlefield because of fuel costs for a bird. Unspeakable of course. This, though not as gross and overt, I would argue is the same thing..
Like all greedy capitalists, PBD doesn't want poor people to get government money to help them a bit, HE wants the government money so he can invest it and make more money for himself.
Patrick bet David is ridiculous raise my kids right they won’t need it 😮
A person who came to this country as a Fleeing immigrant calling Somthing an entitlement Program is crazy lol
It’s ironic how most republicans are evangelical Protestant Christians but when it comes to taking care of the poor and elderly they ain’t about it😂
We need a video explaining this unnoticed moral dilemma
Bet Davis is thee most ignorant person with a podcast.
😂😂😂
He's not ignorant, he's cruel. Big difference.
Not lack of knowledge… he just does not care
@ProgressivePerspective1138don’t laugh, life will humble you.
We made a promise when we enacted social security, people have paid into it all their lives and the answer is not privitization.
PBD is a corporate hack. He'll protect his wealthy status along with his wealthy friends.
Health Insurance is a scam. In countries where it is mandatory, the premiums go up every year, the coverage of care items decrease and the re-investment into R&D of drugs or, treatment is secondary (at best) to share/stake -holder return.
State owned health services are not just better at point of service, but are cheaper, contribute to the local economy and can guarantee lower prices for drugs while managing R&D, specific to population requirements.
Privatisation in healthcare was sold as a driver of lower cost and more choice. Neither of these claims has been borne out by the reality of private healthcare or, private health insurance.
To clarify this and make things simple, Patrick Bet-David's philosophy on Life is it's a "Zero-Sum Game". To him, you're either rich or you're worthless. He only sees you as whether you're an asset or a cost... he doesn't see you for your non-tangible contributions to society, to Humanity, to your loved ones and those who you care about. He only sees you in dollars and cents and how much it's going to cost HIM for your existence.
The tax breaks for the rich that's not entitlement
If im paying out of my check for a service that im going yo use later in my life, why isn't that an investment? If employers are paying, why isn't that considered part of the Employer compensation package?
Because itd justified as a capitalist, narrative and defeat his giving free stuff away welfare hand out narrative. Things work out the way where he gets more, that’s when it’s true capitalism. Make me an investment for a big return from her money. No that’s not capitalism. He sees his method of BS in where he wins out more than you, is just another form of capitalism. The conversation in good faith at all. Guys like him would be for a social policy when they have no money, but the minute they become rich is when they are against those policies. And wants a ladder, kick it for others, then become Republicans and our beautiful policies that benefit people who are rich. That’s the game he’s playing. It’s I’ll just a con game. Do and say anything in where I can make more money for myself and do and say anything weird I can make others have less money. Why? Because they are my competition. A socialism for rich bad faith arguing ladder kicker. The only way to get through to a guy like that is for them to feel what you’re going through. That’s how they calculate right or wrong. How things only affect me at the given moment.
These aren't entitlements. I paid into them for the last 44 years. It's not a gift.
I think its interesting the tone he used when he called them entitlements.. As a wealthy person he is still entitled to subsidized gas prices, subsidized food prices, protections on food productions, education subsidies, road and infra structures subsidies, but you would hear him use that same tone to refer to his use of these entitlements.
@malgron If we don’t take subsidies but our competitors do, then we put ourselves in a competitive disadvantage and we have a higher risk of losing our business. It would be better if they were not available to anyone and we didn’t have to pay taxes that fuel those subsidies. The government involvement isn’t capitalism, that’s corrupt capitalism.
@luysteraar sadly if these program didn't exist most seniors would not survive retirement, but I guess it would their fault for not being able to figure out how to become wealthy working their whole lives?
@malgron a retirement program is not a subsidy
@luysteraarso your argument is to get rid of these "entitlement programs" ... Do you realize that SSI was put into place to help the common people, but because rich people refuse to pay their fair share, so they convince the lower people that these things are bad so they don't have to pay their fair share... You are genuinely arguing on behalf of the people that have created this short fall.
@robertdixon1518 The tax system already has progressive rates, with the wealthy being taxed more than others. A wealthy individual does not utilize public goods and services more than anyone else, yet they bear a higher cost. In a supermarket, the price of a bottle of water is the same for everyone, which is fair. The government, however, taxes the wealthy the most and still calls it insufficient, suggesting it would be better if it were even more unequal. Many people need support, but instead of being taxed by the government to create programs, it might be more effective for citizens to support one another directly without government intervention, allowing the assistance to feel more personal and impactful.
if i coordinated a pyramid scheme & screwed all the chumps, to the point i was set for life. I would be parroting PBD's BS too
“That doesn’t sound sick to you”. That statement , the way you said it, made me subscribe. Wish more people felt this way about our current system of unfettered capitalism
The great majority of people no longer get defined benefit pensions like they used to.
SOCIAL SECURITY IS NOT ENTITLEMENT. WE PAID FOR THEM.
It’s insurance.
An immigrant complaining about social security
I wish he’d stick to interviewing gangsters and organized crime figures
The curse of capitalism, you guys. The curse of capitalism.
Government is supposed to work for the people!
So glad Sam came on to push back on these clowns.
I thought the biggest government spending was in defense?
PBD is a sad ottoman of a man
Do you know I’ve heard about some famous people that had a lot of money their own show, but shit happens in life
They get cancer they lose your gig
They get divorced they gotta sell their fancy homes and they end up like the rest of us. It could happen to anybody, so don’t think you’re high and mighty and it can happen to you.
Our total budget is 1.7 trillion and the pentagon budget is 900 billion 😊
And that 900 billion isn't traceable since they haven't been able to pass an audit in decades.
@bigchedds8389I don’t think they’ve been getting audited for decades. Maybe 1
@Chadpbj it's federal law (since 1992 or 1993) for Federal agencies to perform annual audits. That includes the defense department.
Lucky for them most Americans either don't care or think it's "normal" for trillion dollar institutions to not account for there funding.
The military is an entitlement program too....when Chevron needs a navy to protect international trade they call the Pentagon ....when my kids need to go to the dentist I call Medicaid....
PBD tries so hard to sound “intellectual” and fails so badly, I almost feel dad for him, but I don’t
A lot Elderly people depend on social security, a entitlement that they payed for with years of labor.
Sam is the best
This guy sucks. He overcomplicates everything
@kenvaughn1536 You're talking about PBD. Not understanding how the world works right?
@patrickstreetet3085 leave it to the "intelectuals " to over analyze everything and solve absolutely nothing. Yes that's exactly what I meant.
@kenvaughn1536 Yes you sound so smart using intellectuals as an insult. I think you're just self-conscious for being not very smart
PDB sites $600 hammers as producing less value. What he doesn't mention is private corporations charged the government those inflated costs. When government officials get caught paying out this kind of money to their cronies, it's correctly called corruption, but when private industry charges these kinds of prices, it's called a "profit" or "what the market will bear", and never corruption. Corruption exists on both sides for the $600 hammers to exist.
Social Security isn't an "entitlement." Americans pay into it their entire working lives.
I think Sam reached the edge of the Sams overton window of acceptable ideas on the pbd podcast
We send billions upon billions to support Israel's military/government etc...
Israel has FREE HEALTHCARE for its people "FREE". Are Police and Fire Services entitlement programs?
I used to like PBD
I agree with Sam 100%
lol shocker
Eventually I got up to around 90-95% by the end
What is Socialize medicine in Israel ? Entitlement program ?
U. S. funding of Israel allows those perks to its citizens.
Thats not PBD concern.
I’m glad I stopped listening to him over a year ago
Greed will blind the ignorant
PBD is a pathetic, extremely biased podcast.
I watched 4 of them. NEVER AGAIN.
How is Iranian Guy Name Patrick Bet David?
I was in the military for 20 years and have worked as a contractor for the government for the last 10 years. My wife works in civil service for one of the department agencies. The biggest complaint I have is that the government is so inefficient and they do not care about trying to do things better. If there is a problem in the government, there is no incentive to fix or improve the process. We either hire more people (who want to work remotely), throw more money at the problem (which is wasted), or ignore the problem. At least in a business, you can complain about the process and the business has an incentive to improve the situation or else you can go somewhere else. Competition improves customer service and quality, but there are no competitors to the government, so they have no incentive to improve.
It's not the government that's inefficient; it's the morons who so often get elected and then appoint cronies and incompetents to positions to administer these programs. This then triggers a counter position by opposition to stop the administrators from doing their jobs.
Competition does not fix any of it. It eventually makes everything worse once monopolies are formed. Bad take dude.
@brianj.4890 the reason why competition works is because there are no monopolies when there is competition. The reason competition is eliminated in the USA is because nobody has enforced anti trust and also encouraged mergers of giant companies into behemoths
@ this is pretty flawed logic. Its theory that doesn’t match reality. Either way, republicans and corporate Dems bought and paid for by moneyed interests stifle any meaningful enforcement of anti trust laws. Capitalism breeds monopolies. Always has.
I remember an episode when pbd was acting taugh and saying that no one can tell him what to say and no one can control him...
Just try mentioning israel and you will see his reaction
Is this Bob Odenkirk with the voice over?
Capitalists hate social security because employers ALSO have to pay into it.
@9:15. "its indicative of an averious personality"
I’m down the middle. I don’t like what the govt is doing with spending because we can feel it not working in our daily lives. At the same time tho we should have free healthcare and if I made 100k salary and my taxes went up 3-5k a year to support it, that’s fine. In short, it’s an American mindset problem that will require a shift in what we think is a necessity for everyone.
