Your tutorial is the best one I've seen. You give excellent instructions and you don't add any unnecessary chatter. Can't wait to try this!! I'm 6'-1" and finding tall jeans in my size is freaking impossible.
Yay! Do the series! Esp altering jeans at the waist. Where it fits you perfectly everywhere, but too big at the waist. Also, your intro and end song is stuck in my head😂 i really like it.lol
Yes, that alteration's been requested for so long! I just gotta find someone who needs it, since my body type is the complete opposite (I need to expand jeans for my waist LOL) So I shall ask around :) And haha, about the song - I like it too, it's why I keep using it.
Great video! Just one tip, I think the first see you do, perhaps doing it the other way (the side that will show on the inside, so that when we flip it, we get a clean finish and it won't fray weird :)
I just found this video because I had purchased short sized jeans and, to my utter surprise, my 5’1” height was TOO TALL! The hem was open and frayed (not a fan of this style) so I could let out the hem to lengthen. Every suggestion I found said to add lace, like a retired hip granny! No thanks. Loved your idea and followed the video! I have normal length pants now!
If they're not too tight around the ankles, a straight stitch would do (I would also zig zag all of the edges before sewing to avoid fraying), otherwise,if the jeans are tight and are stretchy, a small zigzag stitch would be best

I have an inseam of 31 and it’s a bit difficult to find long enough pants. I can’t imagine what you have to go through 😭

What type of stitch should we do
