i'm building my first pc right now with this cooler and i am, as many friends have remarked, absolutely cursed when it comes to electronics. i'm currently troubleshooting a bunch of issues that no one i know seems to have had before, but this video hit at the perfect time for me to at least be sure i have my aio hooked up correctly -- so thank you for the detailed step-by-step! your guide videos are extremely easy to follow and pleasant to watch.
is your titan 360 not showing up in icue software either but seems to be working just fine? or is that just me and there are no real fixes online for it either
@ Powered up first try. Couldn’t be happier with the AIO it’s incredibly quiet. I actually used your video on the non Titan version while building. Thank you for all your work!
Super super helpful video, started my new PC the other night with the 2 fan model and was having a really hard time figuring out why I had so many wires, turns out they were just extra and I had everything set up correctly! Thanks again Mr Prawn!
another great video. I love the corsair coolers and case fans. My last build with this cooler I got a right angle USB C connector to make my build a little cleaner. I've never side mounted the cooler I do like how it looks for sure. also they do make reverse blade fans now at least in the LX fans.
I have the 360mm titan with the lcd cooler. Got tired of dealing with custom loops for the past 10+ years and just wanted something that was fire and forget. This thing really isnt much less of a temp difference from my loop with two 360mm rads, however my gpu was also in that loop so all things considered custom loop still wins. However this is still a great cooler. Too bad icue software seems to go in a wave of decent update to terrible update.
i saw a few reviews for LX fans, seem like they are very very good for radiators. probably would be best to get the older model that comes with qx fans, use those for the case and 3 lx for the radiator.
@ lx have more static pressure thats needed for radiators, qx have more case airflow and look a bit better so its a mixed bag. at least they look similar enough to be used together, so i would just stick to qx for the case. its very hard to put together parts that make sense visually and actually perform well these days… i like the corsair icue link system and software but the AIOs themselves are always at the bottom stack in benchmarks.
@@JustKelsey H170i with QX fans are out of stock and my BlackFriday order was also canceled. I turned to Corsair support and they said they are completely out of stock and being replaced by Titan series. (Most probably discontinued cause of the too high production costs). On titan AIO they also have different link hub
I just bought the 240mm radiator version. Thank you for this helpful video! I was quite confused on the wiring, wasn’t expecting to encounter so many cable at first. Thanks for explaining very clearly.
NOt really - you can daisychain it with fans - BUT then you will not have all RGB fucntions working in the ICUE app. If somethingelse is linked to the pump it has this bug.
Yes you can - you can daisychain it with fans - BUT then you will not have all RGB fucntions working in the ICUE app. If somethingelse is linked to the pump it has this bug.
@@amsTECHandGAMING Well I got the answer... YES, you can connect the AIO lcd/pump cable to other fans! You don't need to connect the pump to the link hub. I just did it myself in my new NZXT H9 flow build... I use 13 fans and all of them are connected with only 1 link hub! The AIO pump goes to the 3 radiator push fans. Those go to the 3 radiator pull fans (360 rad is mounted at the top of the case), these go to icue link hub port 1. Then I have a 120m back exhaust fan, which is connected via long cable to the side mounted 3x120 intake fans, those are connected via short cable to the 3x120 bottom mounted intake fans, and those go to icue link hub port2. All fans are detected by icue and work fine.
hi @theprovokedprawn Nice video. very very helpful. One question i have is that since the AIO pump head requires a dedicated connection to the icue link hub, are all nine fans linked together and plugged into the icue link hub? IF so, are 9 connections the maximum for each hub connection?
Yes you can - you can daisychain it with fans - BUT then you will not have all RGB fucntions working in the ICUE app. If somethingelse is linked to the pump it has this bug.
looking to get one of these. I have a 4070 super, and I have the pigtailing pcie connectors. So psu to gpu and then the pigtail (x2). Would I be able to plug the pigtail into the control panel?
Hi can you use this cooler with the LCD with Lian Li fans? For some reason I don’t have the option of the gifs. I cannot change anything on the LCD screen. I have everything connected exactly like you did but with Lian li fans but the icue software is not showing me the screen option.
@ No I wasn’t trying to control the fans through the icue software. I was having trouble with setting gifs on the icue software. The option is not there for me. However I think I figured out where I went wrong. I had to rewatch your video a few times and googled it and realized I didn’t use the mini usb-c cord also. I thought that cord was only if you use the Corsair fans but because I’m using Lian li I didn’t plug it in. Ultimately my issue was that I was supposed to plug both cords into the pump in order for the lcd screen to work properly.
Hello, i used the pigtail version using one from the gpu, is it safe to use, i can’t find another pcie power cable, psu should have one but maybe i missplaced it 4:50
So ive watched this video 5 times and still cant understand why mine wont show up in ICUE but its working just fine rgb on , fans are spinning my cpu is hella alot cooler than it was without it and yet icue 5.23.96 wont detect it , which is the version ICUE is forcing me to have ive tried finding other versions to download and it just gives that one everytime so i dont know what to do ive tried every fix corsair support bot has giving me , even tried pluggin stuff into different ports that are labeled the same
@ I did. Fortunately I was able to solve this problem through command prompt. Managed to find an old trusty Reddit post from 3 years ago that helped me. It had something to do with resetting the power plant.
Is this normal? My liquid temp slowly reaches 40c when idle but also stays there while gaming. I'm using the same AIO but with the lcd version and my cpu is an i9 14900k with intel default settings, though cpu temps are fine
How can Icue Link Hub controll 12 devices per channel (instead 7 as its writted originally), if hardware is limited to 7A per channel? For example QX fans may draw up to 1A, meaning that is why Hub was limited to 7 devices per channel. I understand rhat RX/LX fans draw much less, but it is still incorect to say that hub fully supports 12 devices per channel. I would say 7 Amps per channel.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Thank you. But I still think, since it's a software "update", not the hardware, better to use 7+7 combination (that is actually why I've got Icue Link 4-way adapter), to connect 6 devices per each each channel, instead of doing 9+3. I was building inside Lian Li o11d EVO RGB with "maximum" setup: H170i (includes 3x 140mm QX) + 3x 140mm QX on the side (actually it barely fits there with one cable connected on the top of these fans, and you have no option to daisy chain it from the bottom to connect case bottom fans. Thats why I needed the adapter. It also barely fits in 420mm AIO with brackets when 140mm fans are on the bottom (mother board have to be installed in upper position or you wont be able to get acces to MB bottom connectors) + one 120mm QX rear. Waiting for Asus Astral 5080 OC and that will be the combo setup with 14 fans in total 😂
I've asked and had the official response from Corsair on this: "We reduced the amount of power we supplied per channel to support the extra devices. While QX could draw more power, running the fans at full brightness was not required, hence the support for 12 devices per channel. For full details you can mail Corsair support."
My new build is on the way to me and I ordered this fan. This video will surely help save me time. Thanks for taking the time to do this one!
No problem 👍

is the standard pump cap ring magnetic and if so is it strong enough?
Does the pump require its own slot on the icue link hub? Or can any other fans be daisy chained into it?
