This seemed more like a therapy session than a parole hearing. It's a red flag that she didn't shed a tear over what she did. Her kids are better off without her.
The point of the hearing is for them to see how much she regurgitates back from the time in programming. I’m sure she has had many nights in the cell crying over the consequences of her actions.
That’s what I’m saying. She’s so monotone and there’s like no personality whatsoever in there not that I can see anyway.
@@gharrett2092very well said.
Let's clarify for her, your daughter isn't scared of you because you're "a stranger", she's scared of you because YOU MURDERED YOUR OTHER DAUGHTER.
Exactly 💯
100 % right
Exactly right. Anyone in the face of evil would be.
@@wheresmyoldname And now she will walk free to do something like that again. I could be wrong but in my opinion, if you beat a small child to death, you should NEVER have the chance to do that again. It’s not what you WILL DO… it’s what you are CAPABLE of doing. Just like a pit bull.. my son’s GF has one. It is not allowed at our home around our pets without a muzzle. Not because of what he has done but because of what he is CAPABLE of doing. We love him… but we protect our other pets at all cost!
@@onemanstrash8233 awww, pit bulls get a bad rap, however it’s very noble of you to protect your family and pets (also family) from ANY and all inherent dangers. More pet owners should be just as diligent!!! 🙏🏻
The fact that she's able to go to college for free is infuriating. I wasn't able to afford to work and go to college. So i quit school
Anyone can go to school for free. You have to know how to do it. Excuses is all you’re doing.
💯
@@Remmysage where do you live? Tell me what Associates, Bachelors or Masters is free? Don't worry about BA or MA - just tell me where I get free college for an Associates Degree?
@@jenniferrussell3083 the person who said "anyone can go to school for free" is likely a conservative azz (must spell it that way to ensure comment is posted) who thinks we can all create this easy, straight-forward path if we just "know how to do it." What a crock of sh *t, I say that because going to a university, college, training school, etc. for free is typically only an option if you're a) eligible to apply for scholarships, which have requirements often to EVEN apply and b) WIN/RECEIVE said scholarship to fund your education. I remember applying to a few scholarships, and they were for small amounts of money (like a grand, that's it) and just for those scholarships I had to write like a 2,000 word essay on some b.s. topic, I think like one was how I wanted to contribute to society once I received a degree. Of course I made it up, who doesn't.
In addition to the headache and annoyance of applying for scholarships you may qualify to receive grants. If this seems more likely in your situation, I would focus on getting grants via federal aid (which has a website with resources and the application info) but grants depend on your location, family's financial info and background, & whether or not you have direct access to affording tuition based on household income. It's exhausting but it enables you to go to college and/or community college. So it's worth it. And remember, student Loans have a low-interest rate and if MAGA doesn't regain office, your loan may be forgiven since it'll be a student loan. Just bc I paid for my schooling doesn't mean you should have to, as I don't whine and think just bc I had to pay everyone else should. people are so selfish. Another rant for another day. good luck in all honesty, you'll navigate this process and find a solution that works for you, I know it!
I'm still struggling at school
When she started speaking, you’d think she was a victim of a horrible crime instead of the person who committed such an atrocious crime towards a helpless baby 🤢
This woman should NOT BE RELEASED!!! UNREAL THAT IT WAS GRANTED!!! SHE HAD MURDERED HER BABY!!!😡 SHE SHOULDN'T GET A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE SINCE THAT POOR BABY DOESNT!!! Honestly....I truly DON'T believe her story.....she had 15yrs to practice what to say and I personally am NOT convinced of her story....then she gets married while in prison....Well, smart for her so that she has some MORON on the outside to put money on her books and to provide for her when she gets released.... UNTIL.... she gets bored of him or moves on to the next idiot.... BUT, for her to say "she ONLY did drugs a few times"....and if that happens to be true....then SHES DEFINITELY MORE SCARIER THAN I THOUGHT!!! IF drugs are NOT used as an EXCUSE for her losing her mind/control and killing her sweet baby....That then means that she is just naturally an EXTREMELY EVIL & CRUEL PERSON!!! JUST HORRIBLE!!!😡
Right who ever is her Husband is just as disgusted as she is
I don’t normally read a lot of comments but yours screamed out what a lot of us are thinking and want to say you speak on behalf of the beautiful little baby and your correct .. an evil lying pos hoping karma will prevail one day

@@seraph790 I'm English - check out its use in my country.
Some of what she said might be right but she came across as very couched, rehearsed. She repeated key words like “respecting other people’s point of view”, x y and z is healthier, I’m open” “I’listen now”, “I love education”, I’m inspiring women and they inspire me, yada, yada, yada. Her cry for her daughter sounded insincere.
What I was most shocked about though was her lack of passion about her freedom. If I recently got married, I’m in jail and I have all this wonderful prospective in my life, a new opportunity to be someone totally different from my past, I definitely would have put more passion in my answers. They seemed to be discussing lunch.
Disgusting that parole was even an option.
I just started watching this and already I'm disgusted with this person.
I don't even have to watch it
Yea, I skipped thru it at 1.5 speed and listened to Mandoo and moved on.
I'm more concerned that mandoo can't make a living at this on youtube. We need to spread the word more and "watch" the commercials at the end.

You'd think; but a lot of them that I have interacted with (especially if they're there for 5+ years) they're not depressed. They get used to it, and learn to like it. Weird huh 👀👀
@@PrisonBecky interesting and it makes sense. They become institutionalized or, live better in the structured environment. Think about it, all human needs are provided for one. To include social friends which becomes family.

@@acausevic1it depends on the crime. She beat her 2 year old to death and tried to cover it up. Some crimes deserve life in prison
@@leslievasquez2645 most people that get a parole hearing or are eligible for parole after a specific amount of time served in jail are all in for murder 9/10. Also women abort their babies left and right nobody is placing them in jail for it. Still taking a life.
@@acausevic1 murdering your own child is absolutely unforgivable!! I don't care if she had a mental breakdown she still murdered her own child.. a mother is supposed to protect her child at all cost even if it means she sacrificed herself to keep her child safe and she did the exact opposite of that, and chose to intentionally take her child's life and tried to obstruct justice from being served.. so she didn't want to go to prison for murdering her own child.. parenting is hard at times but at the end of the day, most parents dont go out killing their kids.. I never intended on having a child, and never had the patience for kids but having a child of my own now is the greatest blessing and I couldnt Imagine life without my child, and I have absolutely no regrets about having and keeping my son, 14 years later..with all of the struggles, and the negatives of having a child-the positives outweigh the negatives of parenting by a long shot and I managed even with working 2 jobs, going to school being a parent and taking care of my dad who is paralyzed from the waist down.. so theres no excuse for any parent to kill their kids..
I know some people aren't going to agree and that's okay.. this is just my opinion!!
@@acausevic1some crimes I say yes to parole…other crimes absolutely not. She beat that poor child…child didn’t ask for that. And the fact that she was drinking heavily & SHE started using meth….her choice. And SHE started drinking a lot. She beat a child.

Think he was too…he was aggravating.
It means she is clearly easily led and manipulated. He will say do something and she will. Dude... put her back where she belongs
I think she said SOW her soul.
Wow, unbelievable people get away with murder. She killed someone her own daughter and she she’s only doing 15 years. Are you kidding me? The law sucks.😡
It really does
She didn’t adopt her son - her son was adopted from her. Some adoptions, bio mom doesn’t get any info from that point in. She cannot have a relationship with the son due to him being adopted. She could not find him if she tried.

I wonder if his wife watches these hearings and thinks wtf is wrong with my husband? 😆
@@brandydavis4428 that’s a good one! Could be right…

She killed her own baby, that child lost her life, why should the killer get a second chance after taking away a life of one so young, that poor child didn't have the opportunity of a life. She can't be kind, that is a joke, kind people don't kill! I work out....as I have the time (joke), and I got married while in prison, lol, so not too hard being here.
No remorse shown for the loss of her child, but I wonder how her other two children survived....or didn't they live with her? She hasn't actually raised any children I take it her family have....I just hope she doesn't have more.
She has well rehearsed what she has to say, the parole man was overly sympathetic with her and worded his questions to help her I felt....she doesn't deserve any support, help or sympathy considering her crime
When she said that she “hoped she could prevent what happened to my daughter, from happening to someone else”, I couldn’t believe it! She means what SHE DID to her daughter!!!
NO. NO. NO !!! I don't believe she's changed that much. She doesn't sound like she's learned as much as she claims. I would definitely deny her parole. She's a long way from being ready. She sounds like she's still angry to me!
I totally agree, I still can feel some bad ways in her speech. This seems rehearsed. I could totally be wrong. I hope she turns her life around. I still feel she needs to stay in prison, she is not ready to be parolled.
Crimes against children is extremely unforgivable on so many levels. Why does she even have PAROLE?!!!! In fact, why is she even ALIVE?!!!
“I was going to ask how this would have changed the situation with your daughter..” the distancing language used by the interviewer throughout is insane. Doesn’t true rehabilitation also include being able to not sugarcoat horrific crimes and take accountability.. and this lady wants to talk about how she got the woman on her pod to workout?? absolutely ridiculous.
Absolutely
Let's be clear Adult prison time is not written For rehabilitation it's written as retribution Only time rehabilitation Is centered on Is juvinile detention
Exactly! Most board members want to see the defendant admit to their crime, take accountability and they want to know if the defendant has remorse. She did none of this! She shows NO emotion at all. She will snap again at some point and that blood will be on this idiot board members hands. He needs to be replaced.
If she thinks she is going to have her marriage sealed in the LDS Temple she is very wrong. You cannot even enter the Temple if you have committed murder
Even though we see so many LDS members abuse, manipulate the word in their favor including majority of family annihilators are from the LDS religious community including sexual abuse as well
Who cares it isn't real anyway lol
Flat emotions, flat brain. Interviewer already made up his mind from the beginning about releasing her not interested in understanding what kind of person he had in front of him, why she did, has she changed? Could be that Utah has no real respect for children?
Right & think he felt sorry for her…he feels bad for all of them. Agree that they probably had already decided to let her out before this.
He seemed like more of an advocate for her. She is well programed

She's probably filled to the gills with psych rugs.
It's no wonder for the rugs I'm sure she taking for her depression.
I came here to say this too!!
She is well medicated. Watch her get out and reoffend. She is fake as fake
She doesn’t answer specific questions when asked, she skirts around the questions, when someone doesn’t answer with direct specific details it screams NO ACCOUNTABILITY, she’s SCAMMER!!
All great women must be behind bars, therefore her husband went there to look for a fantastic wife and mother for his future children!!! SERIOUSLY!!! SMH
She can stay in prison.
So much for taking responsibility 🙄😒😑
Oh how religious is it to say instead of this happening to my daughter, I wish it was someone else? WTF?
Seriously, WTF!
I think you misunderstood. She( the offender) was adopted and raised by a good family. She was defiant. After she killed the 2 year old girl, the boy was taken by the state and adopted out. Not sure where the 4 month old daughter went.
Ahhh. Ok, that makes Sense. Thank you
I hate when parole hearings from any of these states don't dive into the crime and gives no push back whenever the offender is doling out BS. I also don't like excessive praise and encouragement by the board members too.
The whole point of parole hearings is to see if the person can be integrated back into society. What is the purpose of it if you’re just going to attack the person for their crime? They are already in jail for the crime. You’re forgetting what the parole purpose is. It’s not to retry and convict the person again. If you aren’t ever going to release anyone into society then why even have the parole process in the first place? Just as a formality to waste everyone’s time? Think!
Agreed. They should push back 100%. To see if that person has true remorse or to see if they get frustrated or angry when soaking about their actions. Sometimes tough love really makes these people see the damage isn't only for the victim but others too. I agree
@acausevic1- Your comment was written perfectly!!! I also agree with you.
@@acausevic1 I read another comment that talked about how their language in the hearing seemed to distance them/her from the crime. If I didn't know what happened I would have thought maybe she shoplifted a lipstick or something. Facing the reality of what she did is imperative. It's imperative for society. She should be doing Life. She went the extra mile and tried to cover up her crimes.

I think everyone in Utah is like that!
She should never get out anyone that hurts a child or woman or the elderly
Or animal.
Going to prison for life, doesn't mean life anymore. Victims and survivors never get true justice. Life should mean life.
Exactly
I think the parole officer sounded like he was giving a office receptionist interview. He didn't ask hard questions. There were questions she barely answered. Her whole demeanor would've mistaken for a job interview. There is not an ounce of sorrow, guilt or regret. She murdered a child. Parole officers must be 100% certain of their decision and this officer seemed too naive to be able to tell if one's sincerely sorry or not.
Not one ounce of remorse from this monster. 😢
I think that her son was adopted by someone else, not that she adopted him originally. She must have lost her parental rights and that is what I understood is that he was adopted by another family.
Ok, ok, ok, ok, ok. Sounds good, let me out. Absolutely disgusting.
I think it's that her son was adopted to a new family after she went to prison. So she can't have contact with him.

She doesn't see any barriers to success on parole? Thats a huge problem. She is not prepared
Sometimes I just wonder if people think talking about religion and the temple will help them with the parole board in Utah.
Mandoo, she did have a moment of break when she spoke about her child, grabbed a tissue…but was just for a moment. Being she is getting out, I pray she ISN’T the same as she once was…especially because she is young enough to have more children.
I hate those language games... what 'happened' to my daughter is like 'the situation' (we hear that in soooo many hearings)... It's denying responsibility, it's despicable! why do they just let them speak like that?!
She will have no barriers or obstacles. She has her new family, who is going to surround her and employ her and baby her. She may even have more children and everything will be great until she sn aps again. This parole board has to be the lamest one on the planet. Just con this guy, and he'll write a report with his suggestions for the others to sign off on.
Did she say I want to be sold to my husband in the temple? What kind of crap is that?
I think it's sealed to her husband.

"I'm kind now. . .I'm calmer now, I took classes - and I actually pertain the information. . ." 😢
Can you believe any convict at a parole hearing?
I thought someone adopted her son after she went to prison? She didn’t adopt him.
I believe when she said her son was adopted, so she doesn’t really know him, after she was arrested her son was adopted out to a new family. She didn’t adopt him.
She can’t be sealed to her husband in the Mormon temple. What she said her long term goal was. When you commit murder you can’t be ‘sealed for time and all eternity’ in the Mormon religion. Their doctrine states that only god can forgive you….and only in the afterlife not while on the earth….for murder.

She didn't adopt her son. Her was son was adopted by someone else after her convition
I may have missed that. Do you have the time stamp?
She means legally it’s not her kid. But the way she said it shows you how detached she is from all of her kids. No motherly instinct.
It was odd to have only one board member present to question her, then bring the answers and video to the rest of the board for a vote in weeks?!? That just doesn't make sense to me. Louisiana board members are all present, can ask questions at the time, then vote with everything fresh in their minds. The Louisiana process makes much more sense to me.
Mandoo, I think she meant the son was adopted after the incident. She probably has no information about him.
It felt rehearsed to me. She had the same answers to different questions. She needs to do her time completely!
I’m so mad she got early release
SHE DID NOT ONCE SAY THAT SHE'S SORRY FOR WHAT SHE DID. "FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER" HOW ABOUT FOR WHAT YOU DID TO HER🙄

If the crime happens in 2004 and her oldest child is 19 years old, and that person was four years old at the time the prime was committed, that would mean she’s been away for 15 years. Did the trial take four years to be completed?
Usually they don’t go to trial for a few years

Ok maybe I'm a weirdo but why does this woman look like an alien wearing a human suit or something? I don't know, maybe it's that the words aren't matching up while she talks and it's throwing me off, but it's like a weird uncanny valley thing, like she doesn't quite look like a real human
Seems a lot of inmates tend to have that pasty look, no matter what race, because they don't get enough sunlight (Vit D) for example.
