Amen Father Mike. It’s just lovely how you smile when you announce the beautiful things God has done for us. Great preaching from the heart. God bless!
Thank you for your homily Fr. Mike. It's very hard for us to understand but your explanation and caveat that we cannot pigeonhole God into our own idea, gives us so much to ponder. God is Love but Love is also hard to understand. There are infinite dimensions to Love.
This was an awesome homily, Father. As an adult with an excellent understanding of the faith, you still made the truth bright and clear for me. Inspired and beautiful. Thank you, Father!
I just need to listen to you Fr. Mike, because I know you always give a straightforward homily, enlightening and challenging. I thank you so much for your inspiration! God bless you!
There's nothing hard about the Holy Trinity, God is one in three, so very beautiful! I was raised in a Communist country, but when I was young my father had books that were there before the communists took power. I remember reading a book where a child ask his mother who God was and she answered. God is Love and He's everywhere.
Today is The Feast of Trinity Sunday: John 3:16-18: God Is Love: There are 3 Persons in the Trinity. The Father - The Son - And The Holy Spirit. Together They Represent the Fullness of Love. The Father Loves The Son - The Son Loves The Father. The Holy Spirit is Their Love for Each Other. We are made in the Image of a Triune God. God The Father Who Created Us - His Son Who Saved Us - And The Holy Spirit Who Continues to Guide Us. Our Lives Should Reflect The Trinity. We Should Always be Creative like the Father - Compassionate like His Son - And Dispose our Talents in the Service of Others like The Holy Spirit. God Is Love And God Is Everywhere. Thank You Rev. Mike O'Connor & God Bless.
God made it a mystery because that's a good thing..If we could figure out the trinity we would say whats next and maybe get bored . We have faith and trust in the living word....... It keeps us in a happy suspense.. Amazing
I seem to remember reading somewhere that in the old rite, an extended form of the Creed , ascribed to St Athanasius, used to be read at Mass on Trinity Sunday which even more strongly Trinitarian and anti- Arian than the Nicene Creed. Anyone remember this? Trinity Sunday is an important festival in the Church, fittingly celebrated just after Pentecost.
Always powerful speaking and knowledge. I often wonder when will he be lost for words??????? Ment to tell you because of joke by KEN. Don't follow Rose Sweet . I'm simple.
