Regarding your feeder, I have the same one. I watched a you tube video, and folded up a paper towel about 1/2 in. wide, and put it at the bottom of the clear cap so the syrup wicks. It worked. Feed then until the nectar flow starts. I just started my nuc a week and 1/2 ago and my package 4 days ago.
