Thanks very much for providing such an instructive video. I've only been using Quick Books for the last 12 months .. and I had not touched it for a few months. So I forget every time. I could not find the "Reconcile" command ... until you pointed out that it was hidden in the settings menu. These softwares are pretty ... but not intuative. Big Thanks
Hi. I have a question. What is the difference with receiving/making a payment through the banking sections vs receiving payment directly through the customer/supplier account? How does this affect the bank recon?
Yes, you should still do a bank rec. It is good practice and it should lock the transactions so that they cannot be edited/deleted, keeping the bank transactions correct.

It is the same, though I personally find the banking module payments more time consuming and easier to make errors. Thanks for watching.
Really useful information. Thank you.
No problem. Thanks for watching.
Excellent, I appreciate your attention. Recommended. Thank you very much.

Can you reconcile at any time - ie every month, or every monday?
Yes, whichever suits the needs of the company

Do I still need to do bank reconciliation if I have matched everything in the banking transactions?
