    Last story, food tampering is a class 3 felony, the brother needs to tell the gf and she can drop a whole lot of weight instantly (possibly just breaking up with the OP, possibly if the OP is sent to prison). Some sawdust can be poisonous too.

    • @songbird-wj4yj
      @songbird-wj4yj 10 дней назад +22

      In addition to this, the human body cannot break down sawdust as well as fruits, vegetables, etc. Meaning, the partially digested sawdust can get stuck in her intestines, cause an obstruction and kill her. Apparently, sawdust can also cause issues with nutrient absorption, which can cause malnutrition even if she’s eating the correct foods. All in all, eating sawdust is a terrible idea, but feeding it to someone unknowingly is psychotic.

      But there is food safe sawdust, isn't there? It's used as an anti-caking agent, iirc. That's still not okay, but it doesn't sound evil to me. It's not a tape worm or smth.

    • @songbird-wj4yj
      @songbird-wj4yj 9 дней назад +7

      @@the_multus Food grade sawdust or cellulose is used as an anti-caking agent in things like shredded cheese, yes. However, we are operating under the assumption that OP is just using average sawdust, not food grade. If he used food grade sawdust/cellulose, he likely would have specified that to make himself look better in the post. The brother-in-law probably wouldn’t have freaked out as much if he said he was putting cellulose in her food as a filler. Maybe he still would have, but I imagine he had an extreme reaction because OP was using “run of the mill” sawdust. Cellulose is used in food products in small amounts, so even if we have difficulty digesting it, it’s mostly harmless. Of course, consuming too much of it will still cause digestive problems. Sawdust, however, is not digestible by humans. Yes, if OP fed her a tapeworm, that would be worse. That doesn’t mean what he’s doing now isn’t dangerous and cruel.

      I wash my clothes at the laundromat. I stay for the wash because the timing means I would get home just in time to turn around and go back. But, I toss the items that go into the dryer into the machine, go home and hang up the items that need to be hung, and return to collect my items from the (now-finished) dryer. I've never had a problem.
      The only time anyone ever touched my clothing was the time when an important call came in while I was home hanging up my drying and I took the call, meaning that I was fairly late getting back to the dryer (I was on my home landline so couldn't bring the call with me). The attendant, understandably, had moved my items into a basket so that someone else could use the machine. I apologized for being late. The attendant apologized for having to move my items. I apologized again for being late (we're Canadian). We wished each other well and went on with our days.

      Also generally a laundromat is not a good place to get to know someone. No one wants to be there bc it's literally a chore, and they're not gonna be in a "hanging out" headspace, they're gonna be in a minding my own business headspace. It's always better to meet people (for platonic or romantic reasons) at places made for socialization like clubs or events organized around things you enjoy- because then people are in a socializing mood and also you already know at least one thing you have in common!
      But yeah across the board, telling a woman what to do, and commenting on the way she's dressed (whether flirting or ribbing) while she's trying to do chores is not gonna work to make her think you guys have a connection. The connection OP was feeling was simply that he was attracted to her, it's not a guarantee of a two way street

    12:00- In one of the fall semester of college, I worked at a 911 call center to help pay rent and such. The center was close to my parent's house, and they offered me double pay to work Christmas Eve. Alongside many, many cases of alcohol poisonings that night, there were many shootings, stabbings and attempted suicides (some of which were "successful". I'll never forget the one guy - who shall remain nameless ofc - who attempted, and immediately regretted it and called 911. The paramedics arrived in under 3 minutes, but were too late. I stayed on the phone with him as he died, trying to comfort him the best I could. This is why I quit the next day). The lesson I took from this is twofold- on "happy" occasions, like holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries, tragedy increases (Chistmas and Valentines are the worst). But it decreases during tragedies, like during natural disaters, war declarations, and terrorist attacks that happen far away. The second is that people do love you and care about you, even at your worst, even if it's just the 911 call center operator. If you're considering something like this, please seek help.

It reminded me of that story of the creep who went and bothered the girls who were enjoying their birthday party to the point they started singing R Kelly songs for his ass lmao like I feel like we've all been there where we like someone but it's important to use some common sense and just do a litmus test e.g next time you go there don't speak to her beyond a greeting, if she strikes up a Convo with you then great if not then at least your not creeping on the poor girl. Btw I have been creeped on by women as well so I know how uncomfortable it makes people.

You can pack it into ground beef along with seasonings, and use it in tacos etc. It's what taco bell does with oatmeal. He had been complaining since he could remember of horrible pain, pressure, difficulty with swallowing, dropping things, etc. He was told over, and over again that it was, "growing pains" or that he was just, "looking for attention.". His dad was a contractor, and he worked with him often. During one job he was on a scaffolding, fell, and hit the back of his head. They took him in for xrays, and the Dr that read it mistook a fleck of dust for a problem, and so ordered an MRI. The MRI, for the fleck of dust on the screen, showed the malformation, and he was in surgery the same week. Without this he likely would have been paralyzed slowly, and died. Story where the gf cheated and claimed to be drunk when it happened. 1. OP, this is probably one of the very few times I'm going to say this (maybe not the only time, but who knows) you absolutely did not need to sink to her level to hurt her. Lower than she did, since you weren't even telling the truth and seem to have only said it to one-up her. That could come back to bite you later. 2. Depending on just how drunk your ex was, it could absolutely be an excuse. Of course, that means that she was SA'd, since if she was that drunk she'd be considered unable to give consent, and hasn't reported it. Which does happen, sadly.

    • @topiasnousiainen5258

I agree that unless she was convince by whoever she slept with that she consented (not everyone realizes they can't legally give consent when a certain amount of drunk) it's unlikely that she was actually SA'd. I can understand why Op thinks he is the cool clever guy in the story. But in her eyes she would be thinking that she cheated once and was honest enough to tell the truth but her boyfriend has been cheating the entire time AND said nothing. When she is telling everyone they know he had a side piece the entire time is that not the truth to her? How will she know that it’s not? Why should she or anyone who gets her side first not see him as a horrible guy? Then telling people that you were lying just to hurt her… it’s seems like a lazy excuse.
      And if those told people come up to him how will he explain the actual truth when confronted?
      He made himself to seem like a horrible person for (in my opinion) not enough reason. Sorry but he isn’t Itachi. And then he is telling us that all proudly. Idiot.

    It's my understanding (not an expert) that causing a nuclear meltdown is REALLY hard. There's a reason it only happened twice in history and one of those instances required a fucking earthquake AND tsunami first. The chornobyl disaster was a combination of corner cutting, human error, and skimping on safety measures...all of which were endemic to the soviet union and yet none of the other reactors with the exact same design had that issue. There was a specific sequence of events that needed to happen for things to go as bad as they did. Any one of them being different and no meltdown. Up until chornobyl the USSR wasn't even sure their reactors were even physically capable of exploding like that.
    Nuclear meltdown are huge risk not because they are common, but because they are so catastrophic if they DO happen. Pretty much any modern reactor can be shut down with a single kill switch. I doubt very much there is a "blow up plant now" button any rando can press.
    I'd wager the guy was just trying to sound cool and betting OP didn't know any better.

      From my somewhat limited knowledge of reactors - you lift up all the control rods from the core and leave all the moderator rods in(if any), right?
      It also must highly depend on the reactor design too - as LW and HW reactors for example seem to have some key differences in how they operate. But in essence you get the fuel into a state of super critically until the reactor destroys itself through heat production.
      I also find some of these newer reactor designs fascinating, such as molten salt reactors that are apparently meltdown proof.

    How is SAWDUST a better option than extra veggies, beans, or a little more chicken?? I feel like sawdust one step away from sneaking tapeworm eggs into her food! 🤢 "Well, if this sawdust doesn't work..." 🚩🚩🚩

      Sawdust(effectively cellulose) is litteral fibre and still used in food today. Shredded cheese is a good example, it has a fine coating of sawdust to stop it sticking to itself.
      The main issue is lack of consent in this story, rather than something that is actively dangerous(that everyone seems to be treating it as)

      I thought that the most shocking thing he did was to essentially make a medical decision for a competent adult without their consent. It is the same mentality as someone who pokes holes in condoms or sneaks medications into their partner's food. A gross violation of bodily autonomy. Massive red flag and possibly also a criminal act.

    I am guessing I would feel worse seeing him in the news after killing a bunch of people, than seeing him in the unemployment line. Girl, he did this to himself. WTF??

    First post: in this situation the consequences for over reacting are one person loses their job. The consequences for under reacting are that who knows how many people lose their lives and so much more. It's definitely a better situation to overreact in.

    the friends who said "reporting the guy bragging that he could cause a NUCLEAR MELTDOWN and loved causing chaos and destruction to the FBI is too far" need to be cut out of the writers life fast. you joke about causing a nuclear meltdown like you make a joke about having a bomb in an airport. aka, you don't.

    I understand the bug in the bed story. One of our dogs dug up a grub and left it in our bed at 3am. Feeling that thing wriggling against my leg while trying to fall asleep was an experience.
