I'll go through my footage of the build and see if I can edit something together. If not I'll see about pulling it out and doing a quick once over. It's all packed away in the shop tetris style and it's really hot here so it may be a little bit. It's 105*+ every day and the shop is over 100* as well. I don't have a large enough or efficient enough AC to be able to work in the shop in the summer. Building season is very short here vs up north...

Nice job! That's a great, inexpensive solution to the problem of getting the car on the ground and mobile. As far as the AC goes, it is barely audible in the background. It didn't bother me a bit, nor did it detract from the video.

Thanks. Hopefully I will be able to replace the ac with a new one after I am done with the framing and extra insulation. But for now my slab is 92* and there is no way to cool it.

Simple. easy and cheap. Just the type of project I like. (You thought I was talking about you, didn't you?) Really good idea you have there and when you're finished it can be dismantled and stored without taking up much space.
By the way, nice camera work by the Queen too.

Well that does kind of describe me... :) Don't tell her that she already has an inflated Ego. :) :)

Nice job…if you cut down an old blade to fit the star and use a bolt to secure it it would be easier to tighten and loosen the shaft…

Nicely done Rick, were did you come up with the numbers to set the height to? I used the BCI floor joists with 2x6 and the Ford datum sheet to set the height to

Made them up out of thin air. All just a guess on what I thought would work. Now I wish it was a little higher for working underneath but then would be too high to work on the top .
