So glad you’re enjoying your Benu pen! My current favorite Benu pen is my earl Grey Tea from Goulet. I love the rich amber colored pen body with the gold flakes and actual tea leaves in the body
oooh the earl grey tea one is so pretty. I have been eyeing that one and also I love earl grey tea. My favorites are from the Tea Company Miriage Fréres, so good!
Hello Christa! Love your new inks. I have a suggestion for rhe Jinhao 82, when you are placing your order with goulet , add their metal shims to the order I found that all my 82s needed to be “flossed” more than the little sand paper block. At least at first. You can also try a thin piece of paper, like post it’s, but there is a little risk of paper fibers. There are some videos that show how to use shim. I like taking the 82s nibs totally apart and start on the underside of nib by the hole, and slowly and carefully swipe down. I am no expert on pens! Grain of salt! Hahaha. But the 82 is so cheap it’s not bad to experiment Good luck
@@dtmama ooooh yes I have one of those. I totally forgot I bought it from Goulet in my last purchase just for this purpose. Thank you for the reminder 🙌🏾 and thanks for watching 💛
I’m not even done watching but I have to ask. How does one go about buying their first fountain pen? I haven’t watched all your videos so if you have addressed this, can you tell me which one to watch? You are the only one I have wqtched who uses them so I thought I would ask here ❤ Just fyi, when I was a kid in the 70s these were all the rage with my friends. We used plastic ink cartridges in the barrel but still managed to get ink all over. Luckily, our mamas loved us a lot 😂😂😂
So I shared a video a while back on my fountain pen collection. In that video I talk about the first pen I bought and the ones I recommend. If you want to get started today, I say grab a Pilot Kakuno medium nib ($10) and have fun. This one comes with an ink cartridge so you can started right away (sans any messes, hopefully :) Enjoy! Thanks for watching.
Awesome. Here is the link. Let me know if you have any questions. I am happy to make more videos. ruclips.net/video/Bx49I0sWqpY/видео.htmlsi=4oyANpf0CDdAaHd5
