A beautiful piece of craftsmanship and design, this bridesmaid’s dress was made by celebrated royal couturier Sir Norman Hartnell, for Princess Elizabeth’s wedding to Philip Mountbatten in 1947. It was one of eight bridesmaid dresses made by Sir Norman for the event, and was worn by Lady Elizabeth Lambart, later Longman, a childhood friend of Princess Elizabeth.

On Kate Moss the dress looks like it was unzipped at the back as her waist is wider, plus no petticoat, you can see her blue pants & leg showing through underneath, the bridesmaids had clearly been wearing petticoats cos the dresses had more bulk below waist level.
